William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is the venerable hall of famer Michael Hayes! Michael, we are coming down to the wire for the showdown to end all showdowns in Rio!"
Michael Hayes: "'Armageddon' is coming, and hell is coming with it! Once and for all, pro wrestling changes!"
Regal: "Speaking of changes, we have a brand new Show Time Heavyweight Champion after last week, in the form of 'The Bullet Club's' Adam Cole, the first ever and longest-reigning champion in company history."
Hayes: "He won a hard-fought match against stable member Kevin Steen, then basically got handed the belt by Triple H and a whole bunch of interference!"
Regal: "Indeed. CEO Jordan Richards has promised to address the situation right at the top of the hour, so let's go to Scarlett Bordeaux, who has that introduction now."
Scarlett Bordeaux introduced CEO Jordan Richards. "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out the company owner and founder.
Jordan Richards: "Last week, I walked out here as the champion of my own company. I promptly relinquished that championship because it was the right thing to do. I thought that we were going to see a new champion crowned that you fans could be proud of. Perhaps I was wrong. What we got was more of 'The Bullet Club' shenanigans that have become their calling card. So, once again, Adam Cole is the NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion. This time last year, I would have been ecstatic to make that announcement. But, Adam Cole perpetrated a great betrayal against me and the other members of 'The Richards Collective.' This, I can forgive. But, it's dang sure hard to forget. Handing him that championship belt last week brought back those feelings and my hatred for Vince McMahon, his family, Commissioner Scott Hall, and the whole lot of them! It made me all the more anxious to get the 'Armageddon' match underway! I don't want to wait until September twenty-fifth to see this thing come to a head. But, wait I must. What I can do is give the world a little prelude to 'Armageddon' here tonight! Adam Cole, a champion defends his championship, bottom line! If you're going to be the titlist of my company, you're going to be a fighting champion! So, in the main event this week, Adam Cole will defend the NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship against the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar! Of course, the NWA World Championship is not on the line in this match. Only Cole will be defending his title. Just to make sure that there are no dubious happenings, everyone associated with 'The Bullet Club' was barred from the building today, except for Adam Cole. So, my boy, if you have what it takes to keep that championship, you'll have to prove it against 'The Beast!' Also, The Rock will defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship tonight against Dean Ambrose. That match will be up next! I have a huge announcement after that match and before the main event, and it will be a big one!"
Regal: "Wow! That was a mouthful by Jordan Richards! A Mid-Atlantic Title match next and the World Champion challenges the Show Time Champion for the first time ever!"
Hayes: "This is going to be huge! And, what can Richards possibly have to announce later on?!"
Regal: "We'll find out after this commercial break!"
Regal: "We're back and it's time to go to the ring!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ The Rock with Eve Torres vs. Dean Ambrose
This was a classic bout. Ambrose began the match much more aggressive than we're used to. He almost tried to bully The Rock. Rock stood tall and fought hard. Ambrose was impressive in his relentless pursuit of the championship. The Rock was up to the challenge. Ambrose went for "Dirty Deeds," but it was countered into a "Rock Bottom" for a near fall. Ambrose again got the upper hand. he dived off the top, but was caught in another "Rock Bottom," which was followed up with "The People's Elbow" for the victory.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = The Rock by pinfall in 15:12
Regal: "What a match! The Rock defended his championship in impressive form!"
Hayes: "Yes, he did! But, I have to be honest. I was even more impressed with the mean streak shown by Dean Ambrose!"
Regal: "Ambrose was very aggressive. I believe he is hungry for some championship gold!"
Hayes: "Yep. He's been so close to winning a title, but he comes up just short every time."
Regal: "Perhaps, his fortunes will change in the near future. Fans, we'll be back with Jordan Richards' big announcement. Stay tuned!"
Regal: "We're back and Jordan Richards is in the ring with a briefcase."
Richards: "I promised a huge announcement and here it is. You see this stainless steel briefcase I'm holding right here? Well, it contains the next major trophy that NWA: Show Time superstars will fight over."
Richards pulled this beauty out of the briefcase:
Richards: "That's right! Just as my sister company NWA: Femme Fatales introduced the Bantamweight division, which has met with critical acclaim and much success, NWA: Show Time will now introduce the Cruiserweight division! Any competitor two hundred twenty-five pounds and smaller may compete for this beautiful platinum and ruby encrusted championship belt. Because of all the tumult going on with the McMahon family takeover bid, I have hesitated to introduce this little jewel to the world. I had it commissioned three months ago and have been holding onto it for a rainy day. Well, it's time to get this title and division off and running. I'm so confident that we will win the war against 'The Bullet Club,' I'm pulling the trigger now. But, I want to focus on 'Armageddon,' so we are not going to crown the first champion until October. I'll be giving more information as we get closer to the appointed time. This championship will be exclusive property of NWA: Show Time and will be defended as such, But I am opening up eight tournament slots for any other member NWA promotion that wishes to send a participant, should they so choose (Emperor Ihsahn , @theindyjunkie , flame3169118 , ChrisStevens12 ). Remember, the weight limit is two hundred twenty-five pounds or less (225 lbs./102 kg). So, in the coming weeks, there will be more information and the tournament will be announced officially!"
Regal: "A new cruiserweight division is coming to NWA: Show Time! There is nothing but good that can come from this! I was in WCW when that company brought in cruiserweights from around the world. They invigorated the product with their fast-paced, high-flying style! The tournament should be off the charts good!"
Hayes: "I always competed as a heavyweight, but I envied what the cruiserweights could do in the ring. They bring the 'flip, flop, and fly,' as 'The American Dream' used to say! This is going to be great! And, that belt is stunning! Platinum and rubies! Jordan Richards spared no expense!"
Regal: "Fans, we have to take another break. When we return, we'll have Adam Cole's first title defense against 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar!"
Regal: "Here we are and here we go!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ Adam Cole vs. "The Beast" Brock Lesnar (NWA World Heavyweight Champion) with Eve Torres
This match was a merciless mauling by Brock Lesnar. he beat Adam Cole from pillar to post. There were several instances where he nearly got himself disqualified for the level of brutality he unleashed. Cole was a bloody mess, having been rammed into the ringside barricade several times. He could scarcely stand by the match's conclusion. Lesnar put Cole into position for the "F-5," then smiled maniacally to the crowd as he uncorked it. Before he could cover, "The Bullet Club" rushed the ring, with the McMahons, Triple H, and Commissioner Scott Hall directing traffic.
Regal: "How did they get in here?!"
Hayes: "They must have overpowered the Security team at the entrances!"
The referee called for the bell as the group attacked Lesnar.
Winner = Brock Lesnar by disqualification in 18:49 (Adam Cole retains the championship)
Lesnar held his own until CM Punk, The Rock, and Ricochet hit the ring. They evened the odds for a few moments until the sheer numbers of "The Bullet Club" took over. Even Jordan Richards was beaten by Vince McMahon, Triple H, and Scott Hall. By the end of the fracas, "The Richards Collective" was left in a heap and "The Bullet Club" stood tall. Several other members of the roster came out, but were thrown back by "BC." This was a dominant display that took the collective breath of the crowd, which clearly had become demoralized at what they had witnessed.
Regal: "This is utter chaos and anarchy!"
Hayes: "It reminds me of a day I care to forget, one that you were an eye witness to, William."
Regal: "Michael, you hit the nail on the head. Not since the 'nWo' terrorized WCW have we seen this level of carnage by one group!"
Vince McMahon grabbed a microphone and seethed in center ring, as his henchman continued to beat down everyone in sight.
Vince McMahon: "I told you we wouldn't be stopped! We can't be stopped! In a few short weeks, we'll own it all once again! The McMahon empire will rise from the ashes! And, my first order of business will be to look Jordan Richards dead in the eyes and tell him, 'You're fired!'"
Regal: "I don't like the looks of this."
Hayes: "It's bad, Billy boy! It's real bad!"
Regal: "Fans, we are running out of time. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for another edition of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William regal. Ta ta for now."
