William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is the bona fide hall of famer Michael Hayes! Michael, Jordan Richards has been promising Armageddon. Last week, he delivered it and we'll see it on September 25th!"
Michael Hayes: "Yes we will! I can't wait! It's winner-takes-all! This war with 'The Bullet Club' will be over for good! One way or another, September 26th will see a pro wrestling landscape that has changed forever!"
Regal: "Fans, tonight's episode will be one for the ages. For the second consecutive week, we'll see an 'Ironman' style match. But, instead of a thirty-minute time limit, this contest will go for the television time we have remaining and will air commercial free, compliments of TBS owner himself, Mr. Ted Turner. This will be a multi-man bout and will work based off the 'Scramble' match concept, wherein the last man to gain a fall will win. What spoils of victory does the winner receive, you ask? The right to challenge Brock Lesnar for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship next week on the program! So, without further adieu, let's get this match underway!"
Match One ~ "Scramble" match (winner gets an NWA World Heavyweight Championship opportunity next week) ~ "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas, "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice, "Under Boss" Bad Luck Fale with Yellow Barbie, Adam Cole with Maria Kanellis and Yellow Barbie, Claudio Castagnoli with Yellow Barbie, Dean Ambrose, "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle, Katsuyori Shibata with Lana, Testuya Naito with "King of Darkness" EVIL, Jay Lethal with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties"--Shotzi Blakkhartt, Dana Adiva, and Zahra, Sinn Bodhi with Karen DeLa Kreep, & Davey Boy Smith, Jr. with Taylor Gallagher
No current champions were involved in this match. Also, Jordan Richards declined to put any of "The Richards Collective" in as participants either, as he did not want one of his men winning the match and going on to wrestle stable mate Lesnar next week. Three members of "The Bullet Club" were allowed into the match after Commissioner Scott Hall filed a formal complaint with the NWA Board of Governors (of which, Jordan Richards is the CEO).
The participants were already inside the ring. The bell was rung immediately after Scarlett Bordeaux explained the match to the fans and made a very quick rundown of the participants. Ringside was as full as the ring itself was, what with all the managers and valets present. That got nixed by one of the three referees assigned after a scrum began around eight minutes into the match. Several referees separated the extracurricular activity and banished all seconds to the back for the remainder of the episode.
Jay Lethal got the first fall on Sinn Bodhi with a "Lethal Injection" out of nowhere. The second fall came when Jason Justice nailed Bad Luck Fale with a "Psycho Slam." Dean Ambrose got in on the action after "Dirty Deeds" on Tetsuya Naito. Naito came right back with the scintillating "Stardust Press" on Kurt Angle. Katsuyori Shibata went for a "Penalty Kick" on Angle after that, but was caught and Kurt turned it into an "Ankle Lock" for the first tapout of the night. Mikael Judas hit a thunderous "Chokeslam" on Claudio Castagnoli for a pin. He then hit "El Crucifejo" on Lethal. Adam Cole got in on the action after a quick "Florida Key" on Bodhi. Davey Boy Smith, Jr. scooped Cole up and walloped him with a "Bulldog Bomb" for a bang-bang pin.
Twenty minutes in, the action became intense with several near falls that were broken up. Thirty minutes in, Bodhi got his first win after rolling up Ambrose and holding on to the belt loops of his jeans. Fale and Castagnoli double-teamed Angle, with Fale getting the pin. Castagnoli got a pin on Justice after a "Neutralizer." Shibata finally landed a "Penalty Kick" on Bodhi for a win. At that point, every participant had at least one fall scored. But, it was only the final fall that counted.
Forty minutes into the bout, fatigue was becoming a factor with several wrestlers. Angle was dead on his feet, but managed to drop Smith with an "Olympic Slam" to net a pin. Cole scored a second win with an "Over the Knee Neckbreaker" on Lethal. Naito dived from the top rope to the floor, effectively taking out himself, Smith, Justice, Fale, and Castagnoli all at once, approximately fifty minutes into the contest. With time winding down, the match began to take on a final frantic pace.
The last five minutes were a whirlwind. Falls were taken by Judas, Cole, Ambrose, and Castagnoli, with Cole taking a fall as the final minute was counting down. He began running around the ring after taking out the bulk of the competitors. it looked as if Cole would get the victory, but he backed into Judas, who scooped him up and launched him across the ring with "El Crucifejo" for his fourth pinfall of the night (tops for the match) with about five seconds left. In a mad dash, Smith tried a "Bulldog Bomb" on Ambrose, but the bell rang before he could even make a cover.
Winner = Mikael Judas in a total match time of 55:00
Regal: "What a phenomenal hour! I've never seen anything like that match!"
Hayes: "It was a war! That's for dang sure!"
As Judas held up his arms in victory, World Champion Brock Lesnar hopped into the ring and the two went nose-to-nose. The crowd was going crazy as the credits began to roll.
Regal: "We're out of time. Join us next week on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour and this huge World Title main event! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal. Ta ta for now!"
