Madusa Miceli: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the hottest hour on television, Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa Miceli. With me are Renee Young and Melissa Santos! Ladies, last week was a turning point in this war with 'The Bullet Club,' as our GM AJ Lee captured the Women's Championship from 'Under Boss' Mio Shirai!"
Renee Young: "That's right! It looks like AJ will have her hands full tonight, as Stephanie McMahon took to Twitter to call her out and challenge her to a match on this program!"
Melissa Santos: "Yes, and she told AJ to bring her husband and one of his 'buddies' along with her. This could get very interesting."
Miceli: "Interesting, to say the least."
Just then, Stephanie McMahon's music hit to bring out the "Billion-Dollar Princess" in her ring gear.
Stephanie McMahon: "Well, as you people saw last week, AJ Lee snuck in the back door and stole the Women's Championship from Mio Shirai. I guess she thinks that, because she's the General Manager of Femme Fatales, that she can do whatever she wants! Well, I'm here to tell you, little Misses Punk, that you will not go unchecked! That's why I called you out on Twitter! So, I hope you and your husband aren't running scared, because my husband and I are itching for a fight!"
AJ Lee's music hit to bring out her and husband CM Punk out to a huge ovation.
AJ Lee: "Do you honestly think that I'm afraid of you, Steph?! I have dreamed of the chance to get you in the ring for years! My husband has already proven his superiority over yours, so, I'd say, let's get this show on the road!"
Just then, Triple H's music hit, bringing out the fourteen-time former World Champion.
Triple H and CM Punk had a stare down in center ring, which drew "This is awesome!" chants from the crowd.
McMahon: "So, I told you to get your scrawny husband, which you have, and another one of his friends. So, who's it going to be? The Rock? John Cena? Brock Lesnar? We're ready for any of your big guns!"
CM Punk: "Actually, we thought of all of those guys. Jordan Richards even gave us carte blanche to use any of them. But, I decided I wanted to go a different route. So, I asked Jordan for a favor, which he granted."
Triple H: "It doesn't matter how many favors you call in, Punk! The result is going to be the same! We're going to kick your a--!"
Punk: "I'm glad you feel that way, Hunter. Because I decided that, if we're going to be the first men to wrestle on this program, I'm bringing not just a 'buddy,' but a 'best buddy!'"
Just then, this man's music hit:
The place went bananas as Colt Cabana came out.
He has not been seen since he was part of the massive roster cuts imposed by the NWA back in the spring.
Triple H: "You brought Scotty Goldman out to help you?!" (laughing hysterically)
Cabana got nose to nose with Triple H, whose laughter turned to snarling.
Colt Cabana: "Let me re-introduce myself to you, Paul! My name is Colt Cabana, and I have traveled the world several times over wrestling everyone in this sport! I'm the guy you and your papa-in-law tried to make a joke of years ago! I'm the guy that's gonna beat your old a-- all over this ring tonight!"
Triple H and Cabana nearly came to blows.
Lee: "So, our team is present and accounted for, Steph! But, who's your other partner? Are you bringing out one of your 'Bullet Club' lackeys?!"
McMahon: "No. We thought we'd keep it in the family."
Lee: "Family?! Is your old man gonna get his geriatric carcass in this ring for a beating?!"
McMahon: "Dad has taken a few days off. So, I called in a favor of my own."
"Here Comes the Money" blared to bring out this man,
to a pretty substantial reaction from the crowd. It has been quite a while since anyone on the wrestling industry has seen or heard from Shane McMahon.
McMahon: "That's right! Shane O'Mac is back!"
Lee: "Cool! It looks like the gang's all here, so I say, get a referee! We're starting this match right now!"
Miceli: "Good Lord! This is a pay-per-view quality match-up, a dream match, right here on Femme Fatales!"
Young: "I can't believe we've seen the returns of Shane McMahon and Colt Cabana for this huge match!"
Santos: "And, for the first time ever, men will wrestle on this program!"
Match One ~ "Intergender Six-Person Tag Team" match ~ General Manager AJ Lee, CM Punk, & Colt Cabana vs. Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, & Shane McMahon
Referee Chiharu, the most diminutive of the bunch, had a very difficult time managing this match-up. She fought the entire time to maintain order, as Triple H tangled with Punk and Cabana at times, Shane flew around the ring as if he'd never missed a beat, and Stephanie avoided confrontations with AJ like the plague. Eventually, AJ did get her hands on Steph and wailed away, much to the fans' delight. Referee Chiharu was inadvertently struck during one exchange and hit the mat hard. AJ gave chase to Stephanie and the two ended up in the crowd. Cabana locked "Billy Goat's Curse" on Shane inside the ring. McMahon writhed in pain. Shane began tapping out vehemently. Outside the ring, Triple H landed a low blow on Punk, who dropped like a shot. Triple H then went underneath the ring and pulled out his signature sledgehammer, which he used to bash the skull of Cabana. Triple H placed Shane on top of Cabana and roused the referee, who made the slow count.
Winners = Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and Shane McMahon by pinfall in 17:42
Miceli: "What a wild encounter that was marred by that often-used sledgehammer of Triple H's!"
Young: "I can't count the number of times he's used it for victory over the years!"
Santos: "Probably more times than he cares to count himself!"
Miceli: "Fans, we'll go to break as Punk and AJ are checking on an unconscious Colt Cabana."
Miceli: "We're back and Commissioner Yuzuki Aikawa is in the ring. Let's go to her now."
Yuzuki Aikawa: "As you all know, General Manager AJ Lee won the NWA: Femme Fatales Women's Championship last week. However, given that her duties as General Manager put many demands on her time, it would be a conflict of interests for her to try and perform those duties, as well as become a full-time wrestler and champion again. So, AJ informed me earlier today that she is relinquishing the title, effective immediately. AJ and I conferred and decided that a tournament for the championship is not prudent at this time. Therefore, we decided that the top three contenders for the championship, who are former champion Mio Shirai, her sister Io, and Kairi Hojo, should do battle for the championship in a 'Triple Threat' match. All ladies were notified this morning and underwent required physical testing this afternoon. Our physician noted that Mio Shirai suffered a mild dislocation of her shoulder in last week's match with AJ, and has refused to medically clear her to perform. After the next commercial break, Io Shirai will battle Kairi Hojo for the NWA: Femme Fatales Women's Championship, one fall to a finish!
Miceli: "Holy cow!"
Young: "Yes!"
Santos: "Instant classic!"
Miceli: "Fans, we'll be back in a moment with that blockbuster main event!"
Miceli: "We're back and it's title time! Let's go to Jessica Rose with the introductions!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Femme Fatales Women's Championship (vacant) ~ Io Shirai with "The Boss" Manami Toyota vs. Kairi Hojo with Chelsea Diamond
The match was simply phenomenal. The ebbs and flows were epic. The drama, both in and outside the ring was compelling. At one point, "Joshi Mafia" attempted interference on Shirai's behalf, as they had so many other times. They were held at bay by Chelsea, Yumi Ohka, Yuki Miyazaki, and several Bantamweight competitors (Makoto, Miyako Matsumoto, Sumire Natsu, and Aio Kizuki). Ultimately, Io hit her vaunted "Moonsault," but Kairi found something deep within herself and kicked out. Hojo then hit her "Flying Elbow Drop," but Io took a turn as a superhuman when she kicked out. Both ladies fought to the top rope, where they took turns jockeying for position. Kairi finally ended up hitting a blind "Sitout Powerbomb" (her back was to the ring when she jumped off the top rope). Rather than attempt a pin right there, she dragged herself back to the top and hit another "Flying Elbow Drop." Io was trying to avoid it, but was too weak to roll completely out of the way. She made it one rotation, which caused the point of Kairi's elbow to come crashing into her upper back. With her last ounce of strength, Kairi rolled Io over and slumped onto her chest for the cover.
Winner and NEW NWA: Femme Fatales Women's Champion = Kairi Hojo by pinfall in 32:32
The audience exploded with applause at the result. Both ladies lay prone on the mat for what seemed like an eternity.
Miceli: "They've had some barnburners together, but that was the greatest of them all!"
Young: "Both women fought valiantly! Neither gave in, not one inch!"
Santos: "I'm exhausted just trying to keep up with the action! I called instant classic before the match, and I was right! But, that exceeded even my expectations!"
Miceli: "You'd be hard-pressed to find any match, male or female, that will top that! I'm calling 'Match of the Year' right now! Congratulations to both ladies!"
Inside the ring, Chelsea and company rushed to celebrate with Hojo, who was in tears. It looked like "Joshi Mafia" might charge the ring, but they were called off by Io Shirai in a surprising move. Io stood up and staggered over to Hojo, whose elation turned to dead seriousness at that point. In an even more surprising move, Io extended her hand. Kairi backed away at first, reluctant to shake the hand of her fiercest and most hated rival. After all, the two have been going at it for nearly a year. Kairi finally stepped up and shook Io's hand. Io even pulled Kairi in for a quick embrace. Shirai then raised Kairi's hand, affirming her as champion. The two nodded at each other in a show of respect before Io left the ring.
Miceli: "Mind blown."
Young: "Wow."
Santos: "I'm speechless."
General Manager AJ lee and Commissioner Yuzuki Aikawa came out to congratulate Hojo, who was all smiles as the championship belt was strapped around her waist. She was hoisted up onto the shoulders of Chelsea and Yumi Ohka and paraded around the ring, saluting the fans in each of the four corners of the arena (reminiscent of Ric Flair after his Starrcade '83 victory).
Miceli: "Now, that is how you end a program, folks! We are out of time. But, we want to say, once again, congratulations to the new NWA: Femme Fatales Women's Champion Kairi Hojo! Fans, please tune in again next Thursday on TNT for more Femme Fatales! For Renee Young and Melissa Santos, I'm Madusa Miceli! Keep on rockin' and rollin'!"
