William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is my hall of fame co-host, Michael Hayes! Michael, we are less than a week away from the huge Memorial Day edition of NWA: World of Wrestling! Brock Lesnar will defend the NWA World Championship in the main event, and NWA: Show Time figures to be a major factor of that episode! On the home front, our locker room has some momentum going in this war with the McMahon family and 'The Bullet Club' after taking back the Television Championship last week!"
Michael Hayes: "Yes sir! We sure did! That kid Ricochet is a phenomenal talent and he took Idol Stevens to the woodshed!"
Regal: "Hopefully, we can put another dent in their armor this week, as Jason Justice and a mystery partner will take on the Tag Team Champions, the 'Guerillas of Destiny!' It's a non-title match, but a win will continue our upward move."
Hayes: "I am very interested in this mystery partner. I have a couple of theories as to who it is. I can't wait to find out for sure!"
Regal: "That will be our main event later in the hour. For now, let's go to the ring for match one, a special challenge after the events of last week!"
Match One ~ "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony and "The Realest Guys in the Room"--Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady with Carmella vs. "The Kingdom"--"Killer Elite Squad"--Davey Boy Smith, Jr., & Lance Hoyt, Michael Bennett, and Matt Taven with Kasey Ray
This match came about after "The Kingdom" laid out their four opponents last week. The referee had difficulty controlling this one, as you might imagine with this many combustible elements. Payne was brutal in this one, taking out his frustrations on Bennett, especially. Amore, the smallest man in the match, tried to take out Hoyt, the largest man in the match. The end came amid the chaos, as Carmella and Ray were arguing outside. Amore was distracted and got nailed from behind by Smith, who dropped him with the "Bulldog Bomb" for the quick pin.
Winners = "The Kingdom" by pinfall in 8:44
Regal: "Impressive win for 'The Kingdom,' as they seek to work their way back to the top of this organization."
Hayes: "They have the talent. Let's see how far it takes them."
Regal: "We'll be back after this commercial break."
Regal: "Fans, we're back for more. Let's go to 'SoCal' Val, who is with the bizarre 'Freakshow.'"
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Sinn Bodhi and Karen DeLa Kreep, 'The Freakshow.' You two have really burst on the scene and taken NWA: Show Time by storm."
Sinn Bodhi: "Oh, but Valerie, my dear, the storm is just now coming. 'The Freakshow' is about to rain down on this entire company."
Wyndham: "Rain down?"
Karen DeLa Kreep: "Oh yes! 'The Freakshow' will do what it does best--go from town-to-town, extracting the hearts of those in our path. You see, we are soul collectors. We rain down violence and we gather the souls of those we have defeated. So, yes, the rain is coming."
Wyndham: "So, can we expect any more members of 'The Freakshow?' Or, is it just you two?"
Bodhi: "Tisk, tisk, tisk, dear Valerie. You musn't ask questions that you don't really want the answer to. Know this: if 'The Freakshow' does grow, it will be bad news for everyone around."
Wyndham: "Are you targeting anyone in particular?"
Bodhi: "We shoot at every bulls eye, Valerie. If one is foolish enough to place himself in the line of fire, his heart will be pierced by the arrow of war."
Valerie: "Back to you, William."
Regal: "Those two are a strange pair."
Hayes: "They're downright freaky! Their name fit perfectly."
Regal: "Let's go back to the ring."
Match Two ~ Bully Ray with Zahra vs. "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle
These two have done battle many times over the years, and this bout was no less fearsome. Ray threw everything but the kitchen sink at the aging veteran Angle. Kurt kept coming, proving that he is still every bit the machine he always has been. Ray maintained control of the match for the most part. Angle had very few chances to make a comeback, being wore down on the mat by Ray. Angle finally did mount his stand, after nailing an "Angle Slam" out of nowhere. he was too weak to make the cover, but it did give him valuable time to rest. Zahra got involved in the end, causing a disqualification by jumping onto Angle's back while he had Ray trapped in the "Ankle Lock."
Winner = Kurt Angle by disqualification in 10:12
"Aces High" hit the ring and laid out Angle, putting the boots to him in quick fashion. "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team" made the save, running off Ray, D-Von, and Knox.
Regal: "That feud has brewing off and on for several weeks now."
Hayes: "It's coming to a head. All the feuds we have going on within the company need to be resolved so that everyone can focus on destroying the McMahon empire and 'The Bullet Club.'"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, we'll be back with our main event in just a moment! Stay tuned!"
Regal: "All right, folks! We're back and it's now main event time! Let's see if Jason Justice has a rabbit to pull out of his hats!"
Match Three ~ "Guerillas of Destiny"--Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa with Commissioner Scott Hall, "Under Boss" Bad Luck Fale, and Yellow Barbie vs. "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice & a mystery partner
"The Bullet Club" came to the ring first, as this was a non-title event. The champions sauntered out with the title belts around their waists, confident that they'd win even if the championship was on the line. Justice came out with his partner under a white sheet. He had a microphone in hand.
Jason Justice: "Well boys, it looks like time has tick, tick, ticked away from you! (laughs maniacally) They call this man my mystery partner. Well, he's no mystery to me. I've known him for two decades. He might as well be my brother. And, I wouldn't want anyone else by my side but family against you two! So, get on your feet, people, and welcome the indy legend himself, JC Dazz!"
The fans went crazy when the sheet was ripped off to reveal JC Dazz, a legendary southern independent performer, whose matches with AJ Styles in Cornelia, Georgia's NWA: Wildside (defunct promotion) are still talked about to this day. Dazz had an NCW Tag Team Championship belt with him (the last championship he and Justice ever held together). He pointed it at Tonga and Loa. He could be heard screaming, "We know how to win tag team titles! We were the best team there was!"
Regal: "Oh my! I know this guy! He was one of the best in all of independent wrestling! What an athlete!"
Hayes: "I knew it! I knew it! 'The Boogaloo Crew' is back together, baby! Get ready for a treat, fans! If you haven't seen JC Dazz in action, you will want to plant your backsides in front of the TV right now!"
Justice and Dazz looked as if they had never missed a day of teaming, even though Dazz has not wrestled since 2012. JC has the knack of taking many months off and not showing any signs of it. He had absolutely no ring rust whatsoever. The impeccable timing that he was known for was still there. Tonga and Loa are family and have wrestled together for years. However, Justice and Dazz are like brothers and teamed together for over a decade as "The Boogaloo Crew." This was a battle of wills. The end came when Tonga jumped off the top and was nailed right in the jaw with Dazz' vaunted "Super Kick."
Winners = "The Boogaloo Crew" by pinfall in 22:53
Regal: "What a match and what a win!"
Hayes: "I told you JC Dazz was the man! He looked awesome tonight!"
Commissioner Scott Hall berated the referee as Vince McMahon seethed at ringside. Triple H grabbed a microphone.
Triple H: "That match was a travesty! We were not prepared to face this man! We've never even seen him before! We demand a rematch next week!"
Jason Justice took the announcer's microphone and said, "Put those belts on the line and you've got it!"
Triple H: "Book it!"
Tonga and Loa were upset with Triple H making such a "knee-jerk" decision. He assured them that he had a plan.
Regal: "Oh my! We have ourselves a Tag Team Championship match next week! 'The Boogaloo Crew' might add some more hardware to their impressive resume!"
Hayes: "They're gonna win it! I'm calling it now!"
Regal: "We shall see, my friend! Wait a moment! I'm receiving word that there is a commotion backstage! Let's go to our cameraman!"
The scene shifted to the backstage area, where "The Richards Collective" was beating members of "The Bullet Club" without mercy. Jordan Richards looked directly into the camera and uttered these fateful words: "This war is not over! It's not over by a longshot! Vince, we've only just begun, old man! 'The Bullet Club' is not the only group that can sneak-attack! We don't wear white hats! We're not nice guys! Your boys are going to suffer a slow and agonizing defeat and we will drive you and your family out of the sport forever!"
Regal: "This thing has gotten violent and it's darned personal!"
Hayes: "You'd better believe it, Billy boy! This is our livelihood. It's our world. If we lose, the sport loses. We must win this war!"
Regal: "Fans, please tune into TBS next Monday for NWA: World of Wrestling! Then, come right back to TBS on Tuesday for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
Hayes: "I love ta tas..."
