William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is hall of famer Michael Hayes on color commentary. Michael, the gauntlet was thrown down by NWA: Show Time last week against the McMahon family and 'The Bullet Club,' which saw NWA: Wild West talent Karl Anderson make an appearance on the program as well."
Michael Hayes: "Yes, sir! Show Time got down and dirty with 'BC' and I was glad to see it! Solidarity is the one thing this locker room has to agree on in a war like this! We have to stick together for the common good! This is a war we can't afford to lose!"
Regal: "Well said, my good man! Fans, we have a huge episode ahead of us, including a Television Title defense as Ricochet gets his rematch against Idol Stevens. Jordan Richards has made this a 'Lumberjack' match to ensure that Ricochet has back-up against the presence of 'The Bullet Club!' That should be a good one!"
Hayes: "Ricochet is one of the most athletic wrestlers in the world and he's been on fire since joining Show Time!"
Regal: "We don't want to waste one minute of time, so let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice vs. Sheamus with Lana & Miroslav Barnyashev
Justice is as unpredictable as they come. At 6'4" and 320 lbs., he is a load for anyone to handle, even someone as big and strong as Sheamus. Justice showed himself strong in the opening sequences of the match, but Sheamus eventually took over. He kept Justice grounded, which negated his size and strength advantage. Justice began to come back with a flurry after several minutes on the defensive. he had things under control, but was distracted by Barnyashev, who climbed to the apron. Sheamus attempted a "Brogue Kick" from behind, but Justice ducked and Sheamus nailed Barnyashev, knocking him to the floor. Sheamus turned around into a "Psycho Slam" for the pin.
Winner = Jason Justice by pinfall in 9:09
Lana and company recovered and slowly limped away to the back, just as "The Bullet Club" entered the picture and surrounded Justice. They pounced and commenced the beat down. Justice defended for as long as he could. Eventually, "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas and "The Richards Collective" ran out to clear the ring. Justice recovered and grabbed a microphone.
Jason Justice: "You wanna jump me?! (giggles to himself) You wanna jump me?! Well, prepare for me to jump back! I challenge the Tag team Champions to face me in the ring next week. But, I promise you I won't be alone. I've got a surprise partner who's just a phone call away, and I have him on speed dial! He's been watching from home, and now he wants a piece of the action! It's time to dance, boys! The clock is tick, tick, ticking. (once again giggles to himself)"
Regal: "It sounds like Jason Justice has something up his sleeve for 'Guerillas of Destiny.' I wonder who he could be talking about."
Hayes: "I've known Jason since his indy days in Georgia. I can only imagine who he could be talking about, but, if it's who I think it might be, 'Bullet Club's' in for a huge surprise!"
Regal: "Now, I'm highly intrigued by that proposition. Fans, let's take a break. We'll be back in a moment!"
Regal: "We're back from the break. Our resident woman on the scene, Laura Cruz, is standing by with some news!"
Laura Cruz: "Hello, again! I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, here with all the latest news from NWA: Show Time, Femme Fatales, and around the world of pro wrestling. Speaking of the world, the next episode of NWA: World of Wrestling is set to air on Memorial Day, May 30. The broadcast will emanate from RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C., appropriately enough. This event is named 'Spring Stampede II,' and will take the place of last year's PPV offering. The main event has already been signed: a 'Steel Cage' match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship between Brock Lesnar and Cibernetico. I am also hearing from my sources that Taeler Hendrix will defend the NWA World Women's Championship against Heidi Lovelace at the event. It should be a blockbuster and the NWA fully expects to see a capacity crowd! If you have not yet done so, set your DVR's to record this week's Femme Fatales, which promises to be the single biggest televised event in the promotion's history. The TNT network has granted a special overrun allowance for the program of up to one full hour! There are five big matches signed, headlined by the 'Loser Leaves Town' battle between Women's Champion Io Shirai and former champion Kairi Hojo! Guys, this is a great month to be a fan of professional wrestling! Well, my time is up! I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, and that's the scoop!"
Regal: "Some potentially career altering matches loom on the horizon involving our stars. It is indeed a great time to be a wrestling fan!"
Hayes: "The weather's heating up in the 'Queen City,' and so is the action, baby!"
Regal: "Speaking of action, let's get to some more of it!"
Match Two ~ "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony vs. "The Realest Guys in the Room"--Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady with Carmella
This was a tag team clinic. "SoS" is the consummate tag team combination. They work the ring so technically sound and with such precision, it's like watching a "how to" video every time they are in the ring. Amore and Cassady are a unique tandem, to say the least, but they work tremendously well as a unit. The addition of Carmella on the outside enhanced not only the scenery, but the overall enjoyment of the match from a fan;s perspective. She is extremely vocal and interactive with the crowd. Several chants broke out during the match for both teams. Eventually, Cassady fell victim to the "Steel Curtain."
Winners = "Sons of Steel" by pinfall in 10:22
Regal: "What an instant classic! Tremendous tag team wrestling!"
Hayes: "I know tag wrestling, and those are two good teams right there!"
After the match, a show of respect between the two teams got a cheer from the audience. Afterwards, both teams were obliterated by "The Kingdom," which stood tall and soaked in the boos.
Regal: "I guess 'The Kingdom' is putting everyone on notice!"
Hayes: "They made a statement, and it was loud and clear!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll be back with our Television Championship main event!"
Regal: "We're back. before we go to our main event, we wanted to take the time to highlight our developmental training facility, the 'Show Time Dojo.' Enjoy this brief video.
A video package airs showing all the trainees and action footage from training sessions.
Regal: "'SoCal' Val is standing by in the ring with one of the trainees now. Val?"
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Ariel Toombs, daughter of the legendary 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, and one of our many trainees at the 'Show Time Dojo.' She is here representing the facility, which had an open house for the public earlier today. Ariel, were you always interested in a career in pro wrestling?"
Ariel Toombs: "Well, being the daughter of Roddy Piper sort of 'forces' you to be a fan. It's all I've ever known him to be. My brother Colton (who is also a trainee) knew he wanted to follow in Dad's footsteps. I wasn't so sure. I wanted to be an actress and a model. I have done some of both, actually, and continue to do so even today. But, as I got older, and after watching Colton progress, I began to think about it for myself."
Wyndham: "You've had very limited action in the ring outside of training, but your coaches say you're ready. We know that you've developed a rivalry with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte from NWA: HAWK, and that you have befriended Alpha Female, who seems to be joining you in that fight. We saw Alexa and Charlotte brutally attack you last week on Femme Fatales. Alexa then challenged you to face her this week. Commissioner Yuzuki Aikawa signed the match. Are you ready for this challenge?"
Toombs: "You better believe I'm ready. I may not be a veteran, but I have the blood of one of the greatest veterans of all time coursing through my veins! Alexa Bliss, get ready for a fight on Thursday!"
Just then, a live shot from the commissary on the jumbo-tron showed these two:
Charlotte: "Well, it looks like the queen of the 'Queen City' is back home! Woooooo!"
Alexa Bliss: "And, she brought the future of women's wrestling with her! Ariel, no one wants to hear what you have to say. On Thursday, I'll end your career before it ever gets started. You will never be what your father was! Your a big, fat, ugly joke!"
Charlotte: "See you on Thursday, kid."
Toombs: "You know what, Val?! I'm not waiting until Thursday!"
Toombs stormed off backstage, looking for her nemeses. A cameraman followed Toombs as she stalked down the halls. She found Alexa and Charlotte, still inside the commissary. Toombs snuck up behind them and dumped two full cups of soda on their heads, then exclaimed, "Now, the queen has a proper crown! So does her court jester! Who's the joke now?!"
Regal: "Oh my! That's not going to go over well with Alexa Bliss or Charlotte!"
Hayes: "I know them both, and they'll be looking for revenge come Thursday! I know Ariel too, and she's just like her Daddy!"
Regal: "Fans, it's main event time! Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ "Lumberjack" match ~ Idol Stevens with "The Bullet Club" vs. Ricochet
Ricochet came out alone, but was soon joined by most of the Show Time roster, which actually outnumbered "BC" for once. Vince McMahon and his family, along with Commissioner Scott Hall, were berating CEO Jordan Richards concerning the disparity in lumberjacks. Richards explained that the lumberjacks were not "teams" of people and that it was not one side versus the other. Vince didn't buy it and was already screaming that a conspiracy was afoot before the match ever began.
Ricochet hit all of his high-flying offense. Stevens didn't know what hit him. The lumberjacks came into play early and often, mainly to keep members of "The Bullet Club" from interfering in the match. Stevens had the upper hand for a few short minutes, but, otherwise, it was all Ricochet. The action began to break down when all the lumberjacks began to fight outside the ring. The referee attempted to calm the situation, but was in over his head at that point. Mikael Judas hopped into the ring to chase after Cody Hall. Stevens attempted to stop him, but was "Chokeslammed" for his efforts. Ricochet took the opportunity to scale the ropes and hit his "630 Splash." The referee turned around in time to see the cover.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Television Champion = Ricochet by pinfall in 18:34
The crowd was on fire at the result.
Regal: "A new champion has been crowned! Ricochet just won the Television Title!"
Hayes: "We're breaking them down, boys! We're breaking them down!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll continue to celebrate, but the broadcast is all out of time. Join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
