William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest hour of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is color commentator extraordinaire, the legendary Michael Hayes! Michael, it's all 'Bullet Club' today, as we have three championship matches lined up, all signed by CEO Jordan Richards. But, the kicker is that he has refused to divulge the names of the challengers!"
Hayes: "That's right, Billy boy! And, I can't wait to see these 'Bullet Club' jokers get what's coming to them!"
Regal: "We are going straight into our first match, for the Television Championship. Let's get to it!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ Idol Stevens with Commissioner Scott Hall and Yellow Barbie vs. ?
Stevens and company made their way to the ring. Commissioner Scott Hall had a microphone.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! Jordan Richards may be forcing us to defend our titles against unknown opponents, but I'm going to change things up to even the odds a little bit. The official referee for all three championship matches today is Summer Rae! Put that in your pipe and smoke it, 'boss!'"
Jordan Richards came to the ring with a microphone.
Jordan Richards: "If Summer Rae is refereeing every one of these matches today, I am putting Senior Official Nick Patrick at ringside to ensure that she calls things down the middle. If she does not, she will be suspended immediately! By the way, I guess you're wondering who Idol Stevens opponent is. Well, he's the future--'The Future of Flight!'"
Just then, Ricochet's music hit. When he parted the entrance way, the fans went ballistic! Ricochet hit the ring and immediately went to work on Stevens with "Armdrags," "Dropkicks," and a "Hurricanrana" that sent him bailing to the outside. Ricochet, one of the most physically gifted wrestlers on the planet, was on fire. Stevens could not combat his style. He couldn't keep up with the pace. he could not match move for move. It became clear early on that ricochet was the better man. Stevens resorted to nefarious tactics to stay in it. The presence of Nick Patrick at ringside seemed to stymie Referee Rae a bit. She was off her game. her calling of the match remained down the middle, relatively speaking. The end came when Ricochet hit his ultra-impressive double rotation "Moonsault." Stevens was out, but was dragged to the safety of the floor by Hall before Ricochet could complete the pin attempt. Hall and Yellow Barbie helped a near lifeless Stevens crawl away from the ring as Referee Rae began a quick count. She reached ten before Ricochet knew what hit him.
Winner = Ricochet by countout in 10:22 (Stevens retained the Television Championship)
The fans littered the ring with debris as Patrick explained to the commentators that Referee Rae, no matter how dubious it seemed, made the correct call based on the actual events.
Regal: "What an unfortunate outcome, but what a fantastic debut for Ricochet! His athletic prowess is unlike anything I've ever seen!"
Hayes: "This kid's a be a force to reckoned with here! He's phenomenal! I'm still not sold on Summer Rae yet. there's a reason Hall keeps putting her in the ring."
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, after the break, we'll speak with Commissioner Scott Hall, who has promised a blockbuster announcement. We'll be back in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back! Let's go to 'So Cal' Val, who's backstage at this time."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Commissioner Scott Hall, who requested this interview for a big announcement."
Hall: "That's right, Val. Last week, I revealed that our financial backer is Vince McMahon and his family. Now that the cat's out of the bag, it's time to put the second phase of the plan into motion. later today, you'll all see what that is. All I can say is that the fans watching at home might want to set their DVR's to record this episode."
Wyndham: "Can you elaborate?"
Hall: "I can, but I won't. By the way, you should come on over to our side. We could use someone with your...assets."
Wyndham: "Back to you, William."
Regal: "Very interesting interview just then. So, we can expect some sort of surprise here today."
Hayes: "Well, Jordan Richards surprised us with the debut of Ricochet. I guess Scott Hall has something up his sleeve too."
Regal: "Fans, the Mid-Atlantic Championship is up for grabs next. Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ Claudio Castagnoli with Commissioner Scott Hall & Yellow Barbie vs. ?
After Castagnoli and friends made their entrance, the music of Dean Ambrose hit to a raucous ovation. He sauntered to the ring with a "Cheshire Cat" grin on his face. He began trading blows with Castagnoli at the bell. Ambrose was his regular "loose cannon" self in this one. Castagnoli managed to ground him after several minutes and took over the action. Castagnoli is insanely strong and used a variety of "Suplexes," both traditional and "deadlift" style, to keep Ambrose in a bad way. Ambrose mounted his comeback and had Castagnoli slumped in the corner. As he bounded to the opposite corner and built up a head of steam, Referee Rae stepped in front of him and admonished against a corner attack. Ambrose stopped in his tracks, then planted a huge kiss on Rae's lips. He followed that up with a pat on the backside. Ambrose then dropped Castagnoli with "Dirty Deeds" and made the cover. Referee Rae refused to count and instead rang the bell. She disqualified Ambrose for "putting his hands on her."
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Claudio Castagnoli by disqualification in 12:36
Ambrose was laughing hysterically and stalked Referee Rae, who ran from the ring. The fans once again littered the ring with trash.
Regal: "You have to be kidding me! Dean Ambrose was disqualified for kissing Summer Rae?!"
Hayes: "She should be happy. That's probably the most action she's gotten all month!"
Nick Patrick explained that the rules state that a wrestler shall not put his hands on a match official for any reason. The disqualification is up to a referee's discretion if it does occur at that point. Patrick explained that he would not have called a match for that reason, but he also could not stop Summer Rae. Patrick agreed that Rae probably made the decision in order to save the championship for "The Bullet Club," but that she did have the rules on her side.
Regal: "Fans, we have to take another commercial break. Stay with us."
Regal: "We're back and it's two down, one to go for 'The Bullet Club.' Referee Summer Rae has managed to keep her calls within the rulebook and keep the championships on the champions. Call it what you will, but it has become more and more apparent to me that she either is a 'Bullet Club' sympathizer or is a full-fledged member or the group."
Hayes: "I'm telling you, something is not right with Scott Hall pulling a referee from the women's roster and putting her in men's matches out of the blue. They've gotten to her, no doubt!"
Regal: "Well, she has one more chance to show herself worthy of the striped shirt in our main event, for the NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship! Scarlett (Bordeaux), take it away!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ Kevin Steen with Commissioner Scott Hall & Yellow Barbie vs. ?
Steen came out defiantly, screaming at the fans who cheered him only weeks ago. The man who controversially ended the longest reign of any Show Time Championship to date (that of Adam Cole) was berating the crowd. Then, NWA World Champion Brock Lesnar's music hit to the pop of the night. The World Heavyweight Champion stomped to the ring as Steen's eyes became as big as saucers. Brock bounded up onto the apron and smiled as he entered the ring. Steen backpedaled out to the floor. Jordan Richards laughed with great relish at the thought of his charge becoming a dual champion. Steen finally eased himself into the ring and was quickly grabbed by Lesnar, who gave him a "German Suplex" that nearly separated his body parts. Five "Germans" later and Steen was begging for mercy. Lesnar was toying with Steen, who is no slouch himself. Steen finally got in some offense, thanks to a distraction from Scott Hall. Steen was able to ground Lesnar for several minutes before "The Beast" got himself going again. This ended up as a titanic struggle throughout. Lesnar blocked a "Package Piledriver" attempt and turned it into and "F-5." Referee Rae was slightly glanced by Steen's foot, but went down like a sack of potatoes. It almost appeared that she intentionally got in the way of the maneuver. Lesnar covered, but Rae was down and could not count. Nick Patrick slid into the ring and rendered the count on her behalf.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Brock Lesnar by pinfall in 18:47
Referee Rae promptly jumped up and waved off the pin count, saying that Steen had a shoulder up. She immediately demanded a restart and had the timekeeper ring the bell. Scott Hall jumped straight up into the ring and clobbered Lesnar from behind. Brock was unfazed by the blow and turned around with a crazed look in his eye. Referee Rae once again called for the bell. She raised brock's hand as Hall ran for his life. Lesnar looked confused as to what was going on when Rae snatched the championship belt from his hand and laid it on the chest of Steen. She disqualified Steen due to Scott Hall's interference.
Winner = Brock Lesnar by disqualification in a total match time of 20:32 (Steen retains the championship)
Lesnar then stalked Referee Rae, who ran out of the ring and hid behind Hall and Steen. Lesnar went after all of them as they cleared ringside like scalded dogs. Brock hopped back into the ring as Richards grabbed a microphone.
Richards: "After sitting here and watching all three of these matches unfold, it has become quite clear that Summer Rae is a referee on the take. She is hereby suspended from duty pending further review!"
Scott Hall returned with a microphone of his own.
Hall: "Hey, yo! You want to suspend a fine referee like Summer Rae, who has agreed to work both of your promotions?! Fine, but she is suspended WITH pay! So, Summer, the NWA may not care about you, but 'The Bullet Club' sure does! Which brings me to my next point. I promised everyone a DVR worthy moment on tonight's episode. Well, here it is. I'd like to re-introduce to the world a group of people who haven't been seen on television in a wrestling capacity in over a year. I give to you the financial backers of 'The Bullet Club,' the McMahon family!"
Regal: "What?! On our program?!"
Hayes: "No!"
"No Chance in Hell" blared over the PA system to bring out Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and Triple H, who walked intently through the backstage area.
Jordan Richards and the rest of the crowd were in stunned silence as the trio came walking triumphantly down to ringside. Vince grabbed a microphone.
Vince McMahon: "Well, well, well! So, this is what Charlotte, North Carolina looks like! This place is a dump compared to the beautiful confines of Stamford, Connecticut! But, I digress. Boy, it sure does feel good to be back in front of the cameras and in a wrestling ring again! This is where the McMahon family belongs! Now, you ignorant people in this audience, and around the world, for that matter, thought we would simply fade into the darkness with our tails between our legs! You don't know us very well. We may have lost our global brand, but we are shrewd business people and we have managed to maintain millions of dollars in other assets. Our overseas business ventures are still doing very well and there is plenty of money flowing through our off-shore bank accounts. So, I'm finally face to face with Jordan Richards. The owner of two separate NWA promotions and the Chairman of the NWA Board of Governors. I must say, upon first sight, I'm not that impressed. Oh, I've followed your territories since day one and they've done quite well. but, they are not now, nor will they ever be the worldwide juggernaut that was World Wrestling Entertainment! We were an international phenomenon for over four decades! No other wrestling company in the world could touch us! In fact, it took a crooked federal government to take down my empire! Now, that same federal government says that I cannot open the WWE back up for business. So, I'm going to do the next best thing. I'm going to take over the NWA! And, you know what, Richards?! There's not a thing you can do to stop it!"
Richards: "Oh, there's plenty of things I can do to stop it! First of all, I am the Chairman of the NWA Board of Governors, as you have already pointed out. That gives me sole power to authorize any prospective promotion and/or promoter for NWA membership. I refuse to license you as an NWA promoter and I refuse to license any promotion that has anything to do with you!"
McMahon: "You don't get it, do you?! I'm not trying to become a promoter again. I've been there and done that! No, I said that I am going to take over the NWA! I'm going to take over the existing territories, which all have current and valid licenses. I don't have to apply for a promoter's license. Every member promotion already has one! And, guess what?! My master plan starts with NWA: Show Time! I'm going to take over this company, then Femme Fatales, then every other territory out there, until I have seized control of the entire National Wrestling Alliance! If my group is running roughshod everywhere, no one can tell us what to do!"
Richards: "I guess that stint in 'the big house' has done you in! You're more delusional than I thought! You cannot simply seize control of my companies. Your group may have all the championships here, but I'm still the owner and CEO of Show Time and Femme Fatales, and you'll have to pry control of these companies out of my cold, dead hands!"
McMahon: "That can be arranged."
Richards: "You think that because you held the WWE roster in the palm of your hand that you can control my roster?! I don't think so! You may have bought off a handful of them, but the bulk of my talent hate you, your trollop daughter, and her idiot husband, and they want nothing to do with you! The world of professional wrestling rejoiced when you three were indicted! The monopoly, the tyrannical stranglehold you had on the sport was finally overthrown. The NWA has thrived like it never had before since you've been gone. And, I'll be doggoned if that is going to change on my watch, pal! All I can tell you is, get ready for a war of mythical proportions, because that's what's coming for you!"
McMahon: "Trust me. The war has already begun. You don't even know what's about to hit you! The McMahon family and 'The Bullet Club' will not be stopped!"
The entire "Bullet Club" swarmed the ring from the crowd and began to beat down Brock Lesnar and Jordan Richards. "The Richards Collective" ran out for the save and were joined by quite a few of the Show Time roster. An all-out brawl took place. It resembled a city riot.
Regal: "I can't believe what I am seeing here! It's almost like the most surreal nightmare imaginable!"
Hayes: "I thought we were all rid of Vinnie Mac, but he, Steph, and Trips are back as the 'three-headed monster!'"
Security ran in to attempt to break up the foray, but were shoved off with little regard. Finally, Officer from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department came in in full SWAT riot gear, complete with shields, to break up the melee.
Regal: "I have never seen a prolonged scene like this in my life!"
Hayes: "Bodies are flying everywhere right now! Even the cops can't stop it!"
Regal: "Fans, we have to go! We've run out of time for this week! Please join us next Tuesday right here on TBS for another edition of the Show time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
Hayes: "Whoa! I'm outta here! They're getting too close for comfort, Billy boy!"
