Madusa Miceli: "Welcome to the hottest hour on television, Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa Miceli! Alongside me are my co-hostesses, Renee Young and Melissa Santos! Ladies, we continue on in the Bantamweight Tag Team Championship Tournament. The first round was off the hook, and the second round looks to be even better!"
Renee Young: "These women are fighting hard for those beautiful belts! They're bringing out all the stops!"
Melissa Santos: "And, it's a historical event as well, with teams representing every major territory having entered!"
Miceli: "Without further adieu, let's get to some highlights!"
(Commentary between matches will be withheld for the sake of space)
Match One ~ 6 "Kunoichi Blade"--"Chimei-tekina Hana" Black Lotus & "Kirā Kabuki" Sakura vs. 11 "The Bullet Club"--Becky Lynch & Jessie McKay with Yellow Barbie
"Kunoichi Blade" was the more aggressive team in this one. They took the fight right too "The Bullet Club." Lynch and McKay were game, but were seemingly outgunned. Yellow Barbie once again made her presence felt in the end. Lotus had McKay up for the "Sake Bomb." Barbie tripped her and held her foot down, just out of the referee's viewpoint, for the pinfall. Lotus couldn't break free to kick out in time.
Winners = "The Bullet Club" by pinfall in 6:42
"Kunoichi Blade" was livid and left "BC" laying, including Yellow Barbie, much to the crowd's delight.
Match Two ~ 3 "The Jumonji Sisters"--Sachiko & Chisako vs. 14 "Joshi Mafia"--Hikaru Shida & Mayu Iwatani with "The Boss" Manami Toyota
This was the match of the second round. it had it all: action, excitement, drama, and near falls a plenty! The Jumonjis were in control for the first half of the match. Shida and Iwatani took over and wore down Sachiko for several minutes. Chisako finally got the tag and cleaned house. The end came surprisingly. Chisao and Sachiko set Iwatani up for the "The Jumonji Drop," but Shida blasted them both with kicks. She then nailed the "Three Count" on Chisako for the pin.
Winners = "Joshi Mafia" by pinfall in 8:25
Match Three ~ 7 "Shin'yū"--Tsukasa Fujimoto & Arisa Nakajima vs. 23 Makoto & Sumire Natsu
This was the upset of the tournament so far. Makoto & Natsu used their size as a big advantage, putting Nakajima away with a "Double Missile Dropkick" from opposite corners.
Winners = Makoto & Sumire Natsu by pinfall in 7:38
Match Four ~ 2 "Candy Crush"--Kairi Hojo & Chelsea Diamond vs. 18 Vanely & Starfire
The luchadoras fought for their lives, but were no match for the former two-time Femme Fatales Women's Tag Team Champions. Vanely ate Hojo's "Flying Elbow Drop" for the win.
Winners = "Candy Crush" by pinfall in 4:01
Match Five ~ 5 Kimber Bombs"--Kimber Lee & Cherry Bomb vs. 12 "Mala Chicas Culo"--"Dark Angel" Sarah Stock & Ivelisse
Stock had Lee locked in "La Reienera" for the submission, when Cherry kicked her in the gut and hit the "Cherry Popper," which caused Lee to crash down on top of Stock's head and neck. Bomb made the cover before Ivelisse could make the save.
Winners = "Kimber Bombs" by pinfall in 8:29
Match Six ~ 4 "Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew"--Lacey & Rain vs. 13 Taeler Hendrix & Brittany Blake
Underhanded tactics abounded in this match-up of villain teams. the biggest villain of all was Hendrix, the current NWA Women's World Champion. She bit, clawed, scratched, and did everything else under the sun to gain victory. It was all for naught, as Lacey and Rain outsmarted Blake with a "switcheroo." Lacey was down and rain rolled her out of the ring, taking her place in a prone position. Blake did not pay attention to whom she was trying to pick up. Rain trapped her with a "Small Package."
Winners = "Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew" by pinfall in 6:56
Match Seven ~ 8 "Joshi Princesses"--Tsukushi & Syuri vs. 9 "The Glampires"--Paige & Holly Rocamora
This was the most evenly matches bout of the round, as the seeding would have suggested. The smaller and quicker "Joshi Princesses" bounded around the ring, while the mat-based Paige and Rocamora attempted to ground them. In the end, Rocamora looked to have damaged her neck after a "German Suplex" and Tsukushi took advantage with the "Twinkle Star Lock" for the eventual tapout.
Winners = "Joshi Princesses" by submission in 9:44
Match Eight ~ 1 Io & Mio Shirai with "The Boss" Manami Toyota vs. 17 Mia Yim & Reby Sky
Yim and Sky are surprisingly good for a "thrown together" team, representing NWA: UHCW well. They went against one of the top tag teams in the world and members of "Joshi Mafia," the Shirai sisters. The sisters dominated the bulk of the match and took the victory after Mio dropped Sky with a "Roundhouse Kick" and Io scaled the ropes for her beautiful "Moonsault."
Winners = Io & Mio Shirai by pinfall in 7:32
Miceli: "Man! The second round did not disappoint and we still have a 'Cinderella' still alive! Join us back here on TNT next Thursday for more Femme Fatales! And, don't forget to tune into the USA network tomorrow night for the debut of NWA: World of Wrestling! For Renee Young and Melissa Santos, I'm Madusa Miceli. Keep on rockin' and rollin'!"
