William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Joining me is my co-host, the legendary Michael 'P.S.' Hayes! Michael, we have a huge episode lined up this week, headlined by Kevin Steen defending the Heavyweight Championship against the former kingpin Adam Cole!"
Michael Hayes: "That's a main event anywhere in the world!"
Regal: "Indeed. Two former World Champions going after the top prize in our promotion and one of the most prestigious championships in the sport! Before we get to that, 'So Cal' Val is standing by in the ring. She is set to interview the new tag team Champions, the 'Sons of Steel.'"
Hayes: "I love those guys! They do tag team wrestling the same way 'The Fabulous Freebirds' used to. It was good to see the local boys show the big, bad, 'Bullet Club' how it's done!"
Regal: "It was a great moment for sure! Valerie, take it away!"
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm in the ring awaiting the 'Sons of Steel,' who are scheduled for an interview right now. They should have been in the ring already. William, I think something might be wrong."
Just then, "The Bullet Club" came crashing through he entrance way, hammering on Boomer Payne and Brice Anthony. They threw them into the ring and continued to lay the boots to them. Tama Tonga took a microphone.
Tama Tonga: "These punks aren't champions! They can't beat us! I'm calling 'Sons of Steel' out right now! If they want these belts, they'll have to beat us for them!"
"The Bullet Club" left ringside with the Tag Team Championship belts in hand. Boomer Payne and Brice Anthony recovered in the ring and Boomer took a microphone.
Boomer Payne: "So, that's how it is with 'The Bullet Club,' huh?! They jump us from behind and take our titles like dime store thugs robbing a 7/11! All so they can get a title shot?! Well, we've never been hard to find! If you wanted a chance, all you had to do was ask! Tonga, you and Fale get out here with our belts and take your tail whipping like men!"
Tonga appeared with both championship belts in hand.
Tonga: "We're going do this right now, but Bad Luck Fale is not going to be my partner. He has business to take care of as the 'Under Boss.' I consider these belts family property, which makes this family business. So, I've got a family member who's ready to go to war with me--my brother!"
New signee Tevita Fifita entered wearing similar face paint to that of Tonga.
"Welcome the newest member of 'The Bullet Club,' Tonga Loa! Together, we are 'Guerrillas of Destiny!'"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony vs. "Guerrillas of Destiny"--Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa (representing "The Bullet Club") with Yellow Barbie
Payne and Anthony were much the worse for wear as a result of the pre-match attack. They fought valiantly, however, even hitting "Steel Curtain" on Loa. Tama made the save and the action broke down with all four men warring in the ring. The referee attempted to regain control of the action, to no avail. As he tried to get members of payne and Tonga out of the ring, Yellow Barbie hopped up onto the ring apron and dug her thumbs into Anthony's eyes, incapacitating him. Loa took advantage by dumping Payne out of the ring. he and Tama then leveled Anthony with a "Double Powerbomb" for the win.
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = "Guerrillas of Destiny" by pinfall in 11:27
Regal: "No, no, no! They've stolen the Tag Team Championship right back!"
Hayes: "Highway robbery! That's what it was! Highway robbery! They came in like a thief in the night!"
Regal: "Fans, we need to take a commercial break and sort out what just happened. We'll be back in a moment."
Regal: "Fans, we're back. In case you've just joined us, 'The Bullet Club' of Tama Tonga and his brother Tevita Fifita, who's now known as Tonga Loa, defeated 'Sons of Steel' in an impromptu title match after attacking them and leaving them laying. Unfortunately, Commissioner Scott Hall is under 'Bullet Club' employ and sanctioned everything. So, it's official. We understand that CEO Jordan Richards has been on his way to the arena, but he suffered some sort of vehicle malfunction, which has detained his arrival."
Hayes: "That sounds a little fishy, if you ask me."
Regal: "I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully, he will arrive soon enough. Let's go back to the ring for our originally scheduled match-up."
Match Two ~ "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle vs. Tetsuya Naito with "King of Darkness" EVIL
Since joining "Los Ingobernables," Naito has developed a mean streak a mile long and has become much more aggressive in the ring. Angle is equipped to handle anything that comes his way, but had to face uphill odds with EVIL lurking on the outside. Angle did hook his patented "Ankle Lock" on Naito and had him begging for mercy. EVIL began arguing with the referee in a distraction attempt. Naito began tapping out in submission while the referee's back was turned. Angle was screaming at the official to pay attention. He then released the hold and dragged EVIL into the ring. He put EVIL in the "Ankle Lock" as the referee was imploring him to get EVIL out of the ring. Naito snuck up from behind and nailed Angle with a kick to the head. he then scaled the ropes and hit his vaunted "Stardust Press" for the win.
Winner = Tetsuya Naito by pinfall in 10:48
Regal: "What a huge win for Naito, the interference notwithstanding."
Hayes: "That will build momentum for him. he's going in the right direction, and he has 'Los Ingobernables' in the corner to back his play."
Regal: "We'll be back with our main event in just a moment. Stay with us!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back from the break and we've just been joined by our CEO Jordan Richards, who looks filthy. Jordan, what is going on?"
Jordan Richards: "Well William, I've been elbow deep in flat tires for the last two hours. I went to leave my condo here in Charlotte. When I got to the parking garage, I had four flats. I called my personal mechanic, who rushed over with four tires and we worked our tails off to get them changed out! Needless to say, I'm a little ticked off!"
Hayes: "I should say so, boss! It looks like those fine duds of yours might be ruined!"
Richards: "Yeah, and I know good and well it was those rogue punks in 'The Bullet Club' who slashed my tires! They put their plan into motion and made sure I wouldn't be here for the first half of the show. I heard what happened to Boomer and Brice! It won't go without a response. I can tell you that! 'The Bullet Club' has taken just about enough! It's now time for payback! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to my dressing room and clean up while I watch Adam Cole take back what belongs to him."
Regal: "You heard it here, folks. Our CEO is upset!"
Hayes: "You got that right, Billy boy! He's hot!"
Regal: "Let's go to the ring for the main event!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ Kevin Steen with Commissioner Scott Hall & Yellow Barbie vs. Adam Cole with Maria Kanellis and Eve Torres
Cole lit into Steen like we've never seen. He began the match on fire, wearing Steen out from pillar to post. Steen took a few shots, but Cole was determined to get his crown back. Steen finally took over around the ten-minute mark. He weathered the initial storm of offense from the former champion and inflicted quite a bit of his own. Steen had the upper hand until a collision in mid-ring. He and Cole both went flying and were down as the referee began to count. At the count of seven, they began to stir. They reached their feet at nine and began to exchange fists in center ring. Cole got the better of that tussle. He eventually nailed the "Over the Knee Neckbreaker" and was poised to regain the championship. Yellow Barbie attempted to interfere on Steen's behalf, but was chased to the back by Kanellis and Torres. Cole followed up with the "Florida Key" and bridged for the cover. The referee began to count the fateful three, but was dragged out of the ring by Scott Hall. the referee immediately called for the bell.
Winner = Adam Cole by disqualification in 25:14 (Steen retains the championship)
Cole was livid and proceeded to stomp Steen unmercifully. The locker room emptied and the entire "Bullet Club" was in the ring and went after Cole. "The Richards Collective" hit the ring and a fight for the ages commenced. Jordan Richards then appeared with a steel chair in hand and began lacing "BC" members left and right, saving Scott Hall for last, as he waylaid him in the back. As "The Bullet Club" scattered, Richards took a microphone.
Richards: "Hey Hall, what was your famous line in 1996? Oh yeah, 'You want a war? You're going to get one!'" The tables have turned, my friend. A war is coming, and it's one you're not prepared for. Next week, there's going to be a twelve-man tag team match on this program. 'The Bullet Club' will face 'The Richards Collective.' I don't care which members you bring to the match. But, I'm mandating one thing. You will be wrestling in that match yourself, Scott Hall. But, don't feel bad. There's another old man who will be staring across the ring from you--ME! And, when we beat you, you WILL reveal the identity of your financial backer!"
Regal: "Oh my!"
Hayes: "Hot dang! The boss is getting back in the ring!"
Regal: "Fans, that's a blockbuster! Join us next Tuesday on TBS for the Show Time Power Hour! Don't forget that NWA: World of Wrestling debuts Friday on the USA network. For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal. Ta ta for now!"
