William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes in pro wrestling, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is the lovely lady I call my co-host, Renee Young. Renee, I know you're happy about the events that transpired last week on the program!"
Renee Young: "William, I am psyched out of my mind! My guy Dean Ambrose is the new NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion! Yay!"
Just then, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out CEO Jordan Richards, Stacy Keibler, Eve Torres, Brock Lesnar, The Rock, "The Varsity Boys," and "The Kingdom." Richards had a microphone.
Jordan Richards: "Cut the music! I was sitting back at the 'gorilla position' and heard Renee Young call Dean Ambrose the NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion! That's all I could stand to listen to! We are out here for one reason and one reason only! Scott Hall, get your carcass out here now!"
The original "nWo" music hit to bring out Commissioner Scott Hall.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo, boss! How's it hanging?"
Richards: "Cut the crap, Hall! We need to talk about the main event from last week! Adam Cole had Dean Ambrose pinned for at least seven seconds! You know it, I know it, and the world knows it! But, the referee was out. So, Ambrose recovers and hits 'Dirty Deeds.' Now, all of a sudden, you feel the need to hop up in the ring and register a fast-count. First of all, why weren't you so quick to jump in the ring when Ambrose's shoulders were down?! Secondly, why did you get in the ring in the first place?!"
Hall: "Whoa, whoa, whoa. One question at a time. So, what was the question?"
Richards; "Yeah, right! I knew you'd skirt the issue. Here is the flaw in your little 'plan' to steal a championship away from us. You are not a licensed referee, Scotty! That means the count you made is invalid. Only a licensed official can make a legal pin count here in Show Time, or in the NWA, for that matter. I'm sure you haven't forgotten that I am Chairman of the NWA Board of Governors!"
Hall: "No, no. I haven't forgotten. How could I? You remind us all on a weekly basis. So, I'm not a licensed official in this company. I am an executive employee. I have administrative capacity. I exercised it in that situation, plain and simple."
Richards: "You may have executive capacity, but that does not give you the authority to referee a match. It's the license that validates you. And, you don't have one! This leaves me with no other alternative but to declare last week's result null and void. Therefore, Adam Cole never lost the NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship. His reign is considered uninterrupted. Dean Ambrose is in possession of an item that does not belong to him, which is considered theft of property. Dean, I know you're in the back. Come out with that belt or face the long arm of the law!"
Ambrose came out wearing the NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship belt.
Dean Ambrose: "So, you found a way to keep the title around that slug's waist, I see. I figured as much. But, what makes you think I'm going to hand it over, just like that?"
Richards: "You have no choice in the matter! That belt is Adam Cole's property! Now, give it back right now!"
Ambrose: "Slow your roll, high speed. I'm of the opinion that, if Adam Cole wants this belt back, he should come out here and take it from me himself."
Cole approached Ambrose with caution. Just before he got his hands on the championship belt, Kevin Steen, Claudio Castagnoli, "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas, "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice, and "Sons of Steel" all stepped down the entrance to massive cheers. Cole scampered back into the ring.
Richards: "Ambrose! Hall! Give me that belt back! Now!"
Ambrose: "I told you. If Adam wants it, Adam can come and get it."
Hall: "That's right, boss. Don't sing it. Bring it!"
Richards: "What's that supposed to mean?!"
Hall: "Ambrose will give the belt back willingly. We knew it would come to this anyway. But, he'll give it back on one condition."
Richards: "One condition?! Who are you to make demands to me?! That's our championship!"
Hall: "Fine. But, here's the deal. Dean will give the belt back if you agree to have a 14-man main event match here tonight. Your group against the guys standing before me right here. If they win, Dean gets another shot at Cole for the championship. Otherwise, Adam gets to come and find Dean and his precious title belt, because it's time for these guys to make their exit."
Richards: "Hold on a minute! So, if I agree to let your 'rag tag' bunch of guys go against my entire 'collective' of talent on the program tonight, Ambrose will hand the belt over right now?"
Hall: "You got it."
Richards: "Ha! You're on! This will be the easiest match my guys have had in a very long time! Cole will never have to worry about defending the title against the likes of Dean Ambrose ever again!"
Hall: "Don't bet on it. Hey Deano, a deal's a deal."
Ambrose: "Yes, it is."
Ambrose walked into the ring and shoved the championship belt into Cole's chest, nearly knocking him down in the process. When Cole stepped up to him, Ambrose slapped "the taste out of his mouth" and escaped the ring before Lesnar and company could get their hands on him.
Richards: "Lace 'em up, boys! You're in for the beating of your lives!"
Regal: "What a blockbuster main event we have in store! It's going to blow the roof off this place!"
Young: "I'm upset they hijacked the championship from Dean, but I feel confident that he'll get another crack at it after tonight."
Regal: "Let's go to the ring."
Match One ~ "Bloodbound Warriors"--Grey Wolf & Red Scorpion vs. "Aces High"--Bully Ray & D-Von with Black Widow & Knox
This was a special challenge made by "Bloodbound Warriors" after they were taken out by "Aces High" last week. The fans really love the motorcycle entrance of "Aces High." It revs them up, no pun intended. Bully & D-Von, otherwise known as the "Dudley Boyz," are the most decorated tag team in the modern era. They click on every level, and did so against the "Warriors." As good as the two behemoths are, they were no match for the experience and expertise of Bully and D-Von, who finished it with "3-D" on Scorpion.
Winners = "Aces High" by pinfall in 7:33
After the match, Bully beckoned Knox to "get the tables!" For the second week in a row, they put Grey Wolf through one with a "3-D."
Regal: "'Aces High' is going to cause Show Time to increase the budget for wooden tables."
Young: Yep. They're destroying them left and right. 'Bloodbound Warriors' have been the unhappy recipient two weeks in a row."
Regal: "Fans, we'll take a break to clear the debris. When we return, Laura Cruz has a bit of news for us."
Regal: "Welcome back! As I said before the commercial, our 'woman on the scene,' Laura Cruz, has some exciting news to tell us. Laura, take it away!"
The scene cut to a pre-taped segment with Laura Cruz.
Laura Cruz: "Hello, everyone! I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, at your service with all the latest goings on in the world of NWA: Show Time. I have a huge announcement that is being made public for the first time here today. I might even get in trouble for 'spilling the beans,' but I heard the buzz at Show Time headquarters in Charlotte, NC, late last week. NWA: Show Time and NWA: Dynasty Wrestling Federation have agreed to host a joint pay-per-view this coming Saturday, December 19! You heard me correctly. For the first time since the NWA re-launched in the Spring, two member promotions will join forces for one massive event. DFW owner flame3169118 has been out of the country on a talent scouting mission, hence the announcement being delayed. But, I had to break the story! More details will be coming this week, but, sufficed to say, it's going to be a big night! These promotions boast the two largest rosters of female talent in the world and both will be on display in this ladies-exclusive card! The biggest names in women's wrestling will be competing against one another on the big stage. The event will emanate from the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada! Be on the lookout for more announcements. Remember, you heard it here first! Speaking of big events, Clash of the Champions 'Season's Beatings' is just around the corner. There are matches still being finalized as I speak. It's a great time to be a wrestling fan! Even Santa himself is planning on making an appearance. After all, it will broadcast live the day after Christmas, so he is beginning his vacation season in sunny California (host state of CotC)! Well folks, that's all the time I have. I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, and that's the scoop!"
Regal: "What an announcement! A joint pay-per-view, featuring the ladies of Show Time against the ladies of DFW! That will be well worth the price, whatever it is!"
Young: "I'll be watching. I can guarantee you that! It's high time the ladies get featured prominently in their own pay-per-view spectacular! Girl power!"
Regal: "Let's head to the ring for more action! Scarlett?"
Match Two ~ "Submission" match ~ "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle vs. "Bulgarian Basher" Miroslav Barnyashev
This was another challenge match, laid out by Angle. These two, who have developed a quickly volatile feud, treated this match much like a "Street Fight." The "Submission" match by nature is no disqualification, as the fall only comes by tapout or verbal submission. For all intents and pratical purposes, everything else is "legal." Angle and Barnyashev beat each other from pillar to post, with neither man gaining an "uncle" from the other. Both are submission specialists. Angle's vaunted "Ankle Lock" has put down many an opponent, as has Miroslav's "Accolade." Angle got trapped in "The Accolade," but managed to inch his way to the ropes and free himself. Angle eventually caught Barnyashev in the "Ankle Lock" and grapevined the legs, making escape an impossibility. The "Axis of Evil" stormed toward the ring, but were cut off by "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team." Barnyashev was about to tap, but Rob Terry dropped a knee on Angle's head, breaking the hold. The referee finally threw out the match.
Winner = no contest in 15:41
Both groups brawled to the back.
Regal: "Before the ending, that bout had played out as a dandy fight! That kind of match makes me glad I'm behind the desk."
Young: "Aww William, I'll bet you can still go!"
Regal: "I suppose with the proper motivation, I could toss someone about, but I digress. 'So Cal' Val is standing by. Valerie?"
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with the 'Richards Collective,' as he's now calling it. You guys have a huge 14-man tag team match in a few minutes. How are you preparing for it?"
The Rock: "How are we preparing, Valerie? My dear, when you are who we are in this sport, you wake up every morning and piss excellence. We don't need to 'prepare.' We live each day of our lives prepared."
John Cena: "That's right! There are 41 World Heavyweight Championships between us. That is the pinnacle of our business. You don't attain that by playing down to your competition. You have your 'game face' on 24/7."
Randy Orton: "We are cold, calculating, and methodical in all we do. There is always a plan. It doesn't change based on the opponent or the day. You'll see, soon enough.
Adam Cole: "We are champions, Val. We go out every match and do what champions do--we win. That will be no different tonight. We will win. That's all we're ever prepared to do."
Wyndham: "Well, I guess it's pretty clear that you predict a win in dominant fashion tonight."
Brock Lesnar stepped uncomfortably close to Wyndham.
Brock Lesnar: "What we predict is a one-way trip to 'Suplex City!'"
Michael Bennett & Matt Taven (simultaneously): "Our kingdom come!"
Wyndham: "Back to you, William."
Regal: "That is a fearsome presence. I don't know if our heroes have the weaponry to combat Jordan Richards' arsenal."
Young: "I guess we'll see. It will be an uphill climb, but I have faith in Dean and the gang!"
Regal: "We understand that Val is now standing by with Dean Ambrose."
Wyndham: "I've been joined by Dean Ambrose. Dean, the title victory you celebrated last week has been stricken from the record. You have a shot at redemption tonight, if your team can score the victory. What are your thoughts going into this match against a veritable 'who's who' of pro wrestling royalty?"
Ambrose: "'Who's who,' huh? Yeah. Lesnar, The Rock, Cena, Orton. They're huge names all right. But, I'll go to war with Steen, Castagnoli, Judas, Justice, Payne, and Anthony against anyone. They have more heart per man than those guys have combined! We don't fight for money and fame. We fight for pride. That's what sets us apart."
Ambrose was then joined by the rest of his team.
Ambrose: "We're all heart. And, because we're in the giving spirit this Christmas season, we plan on giving the fans the gift of shutting those punks up, once and for all!"
Steen: "Ho, ho, ho..."
Regal: "Stay tuned, fans. When we come back, we'll have the big 14-man main event!"
Regal: "We're back!"
Young: "Let's get this started!"
Match Three ~ "14-Man Tag Team" match ~ "The Richards Collective"--Brock Lesnar, The Rock, "The Varsity Boys," & "The Kingdom" with Maria Kanellis vs. Dean Ambrose, Kevin Steen, Claudio Castagnoli, "Priest of punishment" Mikael Judas, "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice, and "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony
This match more than lived up to its billing. The fans were on their feet the entire time. The action was fierce and competitive. This was no "squash match" as predicted. Lensar did take every one of his opponents to "Suplex City," but Ambrose and company more than held their own. The action broke down all over the arena. Everyone was locked in battle at once. In the end, Bennett and Taven had Payne set up for "Hail Mary." As Taven dived off the top rope, he was met with a mid-air "Lariat" from Anthony that nearly took him out of his boots. Payne reversed the "Piledriver" attempt into a "Back Drop." Judas entered the ring at that exact moment. He caught Bennett, who was in mid rotation, on his back, then administered a thunderous "El Crucifejo." The Rock attempted to make the save, but was caught in a "Psycho Slam" by Justice. Judas made the pin for the upset victory.
Winners = Ambrose, Steen, Castagnoli, Judas, Justice, Payne, & Anthony by pinfall in 19:27
The crowd was euphoric, as Ambrose stared down Cole and made the universal championship belt symbolism ("Discount Double Check") across his mid-section. Richards had a fit at ringside.
Regal: "Renee, you called it! You predicted the upset!"
Young: "I knew it! It's all about heart, baby! I knew those guys would come through!"
Regal: "Indeed, sunshine! Fans, we're out of time. Join us this Thursday on TNT for Show Time Femme Fatales and back on TBS next Tuesday for the Show Time Power Hour! Please keep looking for updates on the pay-per-view this Saturday! For Renee Young, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
