William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal, alongside my co-host, Renee Young. Renee, What a whirlwind two weeks it has been around here!"
Renee Young: "Absolutely right, William! We saw Brock Lesnar's pseudo-coronation take place and we also saw Kevin Steen and Dean Ambrose forced to bow at Lesnar's feet for what Jordan Richards deemed insolence from the two. We witnessed the arrivals of both Kurt Angle and Miroslav Barnyashev, with the returning Lana. From all indications, there will be more debuts here this week as well. We also have a Heavyweight Championship match in the main event! I'm excited to see what this hour has in store!"
William Regal: "Indeed! Let's go to the ring with Scarlett Bordeaux for our first contest!"
Match One ~ "Bloodbound Warriors"--Grey Wolf & Red Scorpion vs. "Life of the Party"--Dalton Castle & Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana
This one was total domination for the "Warriors," as they took full advantage of a minor injury sustained by Cabana during the match. They dismantled the popular and fun-loving duo in short order, winning after "Release the Hounds."
Winners = "Bloodbound Warriors" by pinfall in 3:38
As they celebrated in the ring, the lights went out and a vignette aired on the big screen. The scene cut to a darkly lit room where four figures appeared to be playing cards. Their faces could not be seen, but their voices seemed eerily familiar.
Figure One (male): "Dee, whatcha got?"
Figure Two (male): "Oh, my brutha, I got nuthin' but a pair of deuces."
Figure One: "Hehe. Knoxie, whatcha holdin'?"
Figure Three (male): "I've got two pairs. Kings over tens!"
Figure One: "Ha! It's not good enough, big man! Three ladies! Read 'em and weep!"
Figure Four (female): "So, you think your three queens is good enough, do ya, Bully?"
Figure One: "Uh, yeah. What do you have to say about it, Ms. Black Widow?!"
Figure Four: "Full house. Aces high. Boys, let's ride!"
The lights came back on and the fans began to clamor as the sounds of motorcycles revving came from backstage. The new group "Aces High" then rode through the entrance to a rowdy ovation. Bully Ray led the way, followed by D-Von and Knox. Their manager/valet, Black Widow (Lisa Varon), brought up the rear. "Bloodbound Warriors" were still in the ring pacing and snorting. Grey Wolf grabbed a microphone.
Grey Wolf: "Who do you think you are, interrupting our time?! Do you know who you're messing with?!"
Bully Ray: "Do I know who I'm messing with? It seems to me the more appropriate question is, do you know who I am?!" (the crowd chanted that catchphrase along with him)
Ray: "I'm Bully Ray. This 'suntanned Superman' is my brother D-Von. The big guy over there is the muscle, my main man Knox. And that little mama is the baddest chick around, Black Widow. We're 'Aces High,' son! If you don't know, you're about to find out!"
"Aces High" stormed the ring and a brawl ensued. Widow kicked Wolf in the groin and got the 280-pounder up for a "Widow's Peak," an impressive feat of strength that got the audience to its feet. Knox hit a massive "Cross Body Press" on Scorpion. Bully shoved D-Von and called for the tables to a roar. D-Von set the table up in center ring, then he and Bully planted Scorpion through it with the "3-D." The crowd ate it up as the quartet stood tall in the ring.
Regal: "That's how you make an instant splash in NWA: Show Time! We welcome 'Aces High' to the proceedings!"
Young: "I'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor from that 'Widow's Peak' to a near 300-lb. man!"
Regal: "Fans, let's take a break and get the ring cleaned up. We'll be back."
Regal: "We're back! Let's go now to our 'woman on the street,' Laura Cruz!"
Laura Cruz: "I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, here with the latest news and gossip from NWA: Show Time! The next big event on the NWA schedule is Clash of the Champions 'Season's Beatings,' which will take place the day after Christmas. Rumor has it that CM Punk is pushing for a World Championship rematch, but that NWA: Wild West co-owner Ric Flair is trying to put the brakes on it. We'll see how it turns out over the next week or so. Speaking of Flair and NWA: Wild West, thanks to his business partnership with our CEO Jordan Richards, it looks like we may continue to see a small-scale talent exchange between Wild West and NWA: Show Time. Keep looking for Wild West stars to pop on Show Time television in the future. New NWA North American Cruiserweight Champion Xavier Woods has embarked on a Canadian and Mexican tour, where he will defend the championship eight times in two weeks. He is without manager Truth Martini, but is being seconded by his longtime friend and teammate Jay Lethal. I am hearing that ladies division Commissioner Aikawa and Deputy Commissioner Kakimoto were not pleased with the somewhat dubious nature of the title changes that took place this past Thursday on Show Time Femme Fatales. Rumor has it that they will announce immediate rematches as soon as possible. That's all the time I have for today, poppets! I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, and that's the scoop!"
Regal: "Thanks, Laura. Let's go back to the ring for a huge six-man tag team match-up!"
Match two ~ "Six-Man Tag Team Challenge" match ~ "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle and "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team"--Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas vs. Miroslav Barnyashev with Lana and his mystery partners
The former "Team Angle" came to the ring to a loud ovation. Angle beckoned Barnyashev to show himself. He finally did, but only with Lana. He had no partners with him, but he did have a microphone.
Miroslav Barnyashev: "I bet you thought I would not show up to face you. Well, I am here!"
Kurt Angle: "Yeah, but it looks like you're a little shorthanded. I didn't think you had very many friends in this sport."
Barnyashev: "That's where you are wrong, Angle! I have many friends. In fact, I'd like to introduce my partners for this match. Representing the republic of Ireland, Sheamus O'Shaunessy! And, from the mighty country of Germany, 'Bad Bones' John Klinger! Together, we have formed the 'Axis of Evil!'"
Angle: "Bring it on!"
The match began as a an all-out fight, with the American heroes slugging it out against the foreign invaders. Eventually, Angle and company got the upper hand. Just as he had Klinger hooked in the "Ankle Lock," the massive Brit Rob Terry came storming to the ring and pounced.
Winners = Kurt Angle and "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team" by disqualification in 11:42
The one-man advantage proved to be too difficult to overcome, as the "Axis of Evil" took over. Sheamus "Brogue Kicked" everyone in sight. Klinger put Benjamin in the "Iron Claw." Terry put Haas in the "Human Torture Rack." For the second week in a row, Angle fell victim to "The Accolade." After leaving the Americans laying, Barnyashev got back on the microphone.
Barnyashev: "Oh, yes! I forgot to mention my third partner, Rob Terry from the U.K.! We will crush you puny Americans! No one can stop the 'Axis of Evil!'"
Regal: "Oh my! 'Axis of Evil' looks scary!"
Young: "They have won the first battle against Angle and friends. I suspect Kurt, 'Shelty B,' and Haas will be back for more very soon."
Regal: "'So Cal' Val is standing by with NWA: Show Time Champion Adam Cole. Val?"
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with the reigning NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion, Adam Cole. He is joined by Maria Kanellis and the rest of 'The Kingdom.' Adam, you will defend the championship next against Dean Ambrose, who is chomping at the bit after being humiliated alongside Kevin Steen last week. Your thoughts?"
Adam Cole: "Do you really think he's 'chomping at the bit?' C'mon, Val. He knows he's up against a stacked deck. The odds are always in my favor. Ambrose will see that tonight. This, I can guarantee."
Regal: "Well then, he sounds confident."
Young: "We'll see. My guy Dean is ready to go."
"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva blared to bring out Jordan Richards, Stacy Keibler, Eve Torres, Brock Lesnar, "The Varsity Boys," and "The Kingdom."
Jordan Richards: "I will keep this short and sweet. He who has the gold makes the rules. We have all the gold. I'm looking at the NWA World Champion, the NWA: Show Time Heavyweight, Television, and Tag Team Champions, and the brand new Bantamweight Champion. Looks like we're going to make all the rules. So, here's what I'm about to do. My newest guys, 'The Varsity Boys,' have yet to be tested on television here. They have 27 World Titles between them, so that entitles them to some air time. I'm going to make the day of a couple of trainees right now. Boys, come on out!"
Jessie White and Colton Toombs made their entrance.
Richards: "Fellas, I'm giving you an opportunity right now to face off against the two finest wrestlers of this generation. Are you game?"
White and Toombs agreed.
Richards: "Let's do it! Get me a ref and ring that bell!"
Match Three ~ "Varsity Boys"--John Cena & Randy Orton vs. Jessie White & Colton Toombs
This was a laughable match, at best. The trainees clearly were not ready for this stage against these opponents. Orton and Cena barely broke a sweat. Cena nailed the "Attitude Adjustment" on Toombs, while White was planted with an "RKO" for the double pin.
Winners = "Varsity Boys" by pinfall in 2:45
Richards: "That's what 'blue-chippers' do. They win and they win big. Adam Cole will keep that tradition alive next."
Regal: "After the break, we'll have our main event!"
Match Four ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ Adam Cole with Maria Kanellis vs. Dean Ambrose
Just as the match was set to begin, the original "nWo" music hit to bring out Commissioner Scott Hall and Deputy Commissioner Jake "The Snake" Roberts, to a standing round of applause.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! I heard Adam Cole talk about how the deck is always stacked in his favor. Well, Jake and I are here to make sure that doesn't happen tonight! We are officially banning Jordan Richards and his little collection from ringside!"
Richards: What! Hall, you have tested my patience for the last time! You can't throw Maria out! She's a licensed manager! She stays!"
Hall: "Fine, but Jake and I will hang out just to make sure everything is on the up-and-up."
As Richards and company left ringside, Ambrose led the crowd in a chorus of "Na, Na, Hey, Hey, Goodbye." Cole tore into Ambrose from behind and took control of the match early. It seemed like forever before Dean could even mount any offense at all. Ambrose finally made a comeback, but Cole was in control for the most part. The match was decided after the referee (Rod Zapata) was knocked down. Cole hit the "Florida Key" and had Ambrose down for a good eight seconds. As he got up and berated referee Zapata, who was still down, Ambrose snuck up from behind. When Cole turned, he was hit with "Dirty Deeds." Ambrose made the cover, but referee Zapata was still down. Scott Hall hit the ring and made the three-count, giving Ambrose the match and the championship.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Dean Ambrose by pinfall in 19:27
The locker room emptied as wrestlers stormed the ring to congratulate the new champion. Renee Young was losing her mind on commentary. Jordan Richards was dressing down Scott Hall, who laughed in the CEO's face.
Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, we are running out of time. Please tune into Show Time Femme Fatales this Thursday on TNT, and right back here next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! Congratulations to Dean Ambrose! For Renee Young, I'm William Regal. Ta ta for now!"
