William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes in pro wrestling, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. This beautiful and elegant blonde sitting beside me is my co-host, Renee Young. Renee, Show Time is on fire as we head into 'Starrcade 2K15.'"
Renee Young: "You said it, William! So many things have happened in the last couple of weeks, it's difficult to keep up! This week's episode is packed to the hilt with action. I can't wait to see Kevin Nash back in the ring!"
Regal: "You heard that correctly, fans! Kevin Nash will square off with Cody Hall right here! Also on the card, the 'Cosmic Brotherhood' will face 'Los Ingobernables' in their new incarnation, with Tetsuya Naito and the mystery member of the group debuting today. All that, plus we will have interviews with Women's Champion Manami Toyota and Television Champion The Rock. So, let's get to it!"
"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva blares over the PA to bring out CEO Jordan Richards, Stacy Keibler, Brock Lesnar, The Rock, "The Varsity Boys," and "The Kingdom." Richards had a microphone in hand.
Jordan Richards: "I have several orders of business to attend to, so I'll dispense with the small talk. As the world knows, Stacy Keibler came on as my Executive Assistant many weeks ago. She has done an outstanding job. However, I feel the need to expand her responsibilities. This conglomerate of talent that I have acquired has put a strain on my time, as we have garnered quite a following in the corporate world. The sponsorship opportunities for my guys and this company are rolling in. With that being the case, Stacy has been promoted to the position of Executive Administrator for the Richards brands. Congratulations, Ms. Keibler, you will perform brilliantly, I have no doubt. With that being said, I'm in need of a new Executive Assistant. Someone has stepped up to the plate to fill that position. She has experience in this area and is already under contract to NWA: Show Time as a member of the ladies division roster. She is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She is the leader "The Dollhouse." She will still function in that capacity on a limited basis. However, the bulk of her time will be devoted to taking care of my day-to-day schedule. Ladies and gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to introduce to you my new Executive Assistant, the lovely Eve Torres!"
Torres made her way to the ring and was all smiles, as Richards and company applauded her entrance. Torres cupped and waved her hand like Miss America to a chorus of boos.
Richards: "Now that we have settled the administrative part of business, let's get to wrestling side of things. The main event to 'Starrcade 2K15' is set, as "The Beast" Brock Lesnar will take on reigning and defending NWA World Champion CM Punk. Punk tried to file an injunction, but the NWA layers put the kibosh on that in a hurry. Now, there are other World Championships to be defended at the event to end all events. As the Chairman of the NWA Board of Governors, I have made every other World Championship match a multi-man or multi-team battle. Every NWA member promotion will have a representative in each match. I'm here to announce the participants from NWA: Show Time. In the NWA World Tag Team Championship match, the Show Time representatives will be the combination of Michael Bennett and Matt Taven. They're my Tag Team Champions and certainly deserve the opportunity to add the World Tag Team Championship to their resume. Representing NWA: Show Time in the World Women's Championship match will be the winner of the 'Femme Fatales Top Gun' tournament, Io Shirai. Joining the match for the World Cruiserweight Championship will be Tetsuya Naito. He has a new attitude. I like it. Going after the World Historic Middleweight Championship will be Myzteziz. Now, every NWA member promotion also is allotted two of its own matches. I've decided on one of those as well. The Rock, John Cena, Randy Orton, and Adam Cole are going to take on Kevin Steen, Claudio Castagnoli, Dean Ambrose, and "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas, in the first ever "Suicide Skywalkers" match. This is a brand new concept that I have created. There will be three levels of scaffolding set up over the top of the ring. Two men will begin on the top level. When one man is knocked down to the second level, someone else on his team joins the match. When every member of one team has been knocked off all three levels and to the ring, the match is over. Bodies will be crashing everywhere, but I'm not worried about my guys. They are superior athletes. They'll be just fine. I'll make an announcement next week concerning the second Show Time match-up. I'm still mulling that one over. But, know this: 'Starrcade 2K15' is a must-see event, to be sure! Everyone in my collection of athletes will be represented. That alone is worth the price of admission. To watch Brock Lesnar systematically dismantle CM Punk will be a pleasure. To watch the rest of my guys tear the Show Time heroes apart will be icing on the cake. The bottom line is this. They call me 'The Show' for a reason. When you want to see big time professional wrestling, you tune in to a Jordan Richards-produced offering. I guarantee that my fingerprints will be all over 'Starrcade.' Let's go, guys and gals!"
Regal: "Well, then. Maybe we can get our first match underway now. Scarlett?"
Match One ~ "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas & "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice vs. "Born Winner" Michael Madden & "Southern Savior" Jon Skyler with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties"--Shotzi Blakkhartt & Barbi Hayden
This was our first look at the two newest members of the "House of Truth." Both are accomplished wrestlers on the independent scene and have wrestled against Judas and Justice many times over the years. There was a real familiarity you could tell that each man had with the other. The massive Judas and Justice controlled the action, as you might imagine. Madden and Skyler did cut the ring off for several minutes with Judas being targeted. Justice got in an cleaned house, however. The end came when Judas hit "El Crucifejo" on Sklyer. Then, he was picked up and run headlong into a "Psycho Slam" by Justice for the pin.
Winners = Mikael Judas and Jason Justice by pinfall in 9:36
After the match, the rest of "HoT" jumped Judas and Justice. As Justice was helping Judas to the back, they were attacked by Michael Bennett and Matt Taven, who gave Judas the "Hail Mary" onto the concrete floor in an obvious attempt to eliminate him before the "Starrcade" match could happen. Judas was stretchered into an ambulance and taken to a local medical facility.
Regal: "That was a clear message sent by 'The Kingdom' to Mikael Judas and his teammates."
Young: "Judas may not make it to 'Starrcade' for the 'scaffold' match. He may have been taken out of the equation by 'The Kingdom.'"
Regal: "Fans, let's take you to 'So Cal' Val."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm standing by with Women's Champion Manami Toyota. Manami, you have a huge match on the horizon this week. This Thursday on Show Time Femme Fatales, you are putting your championship on the line against Io Shirai. What's more important is the fact that you are putting your career on the line as well. Why would you wager your career against Io?"
Manami Toyota (through an interpreter): "I knew that this was the only way to get a match with her."
Wyndham: "But, why is it imperative that you wrestle Io Shirai?"
Toyota: "Io is one of the best joshi wrestlers in the world, but, she also is a member of 'Joshi Mafia.' The biggest reason is because she just won the 'Top Gun' tournament with help from her friends. Kairi Hojo should have won the tournament. I took the match to shut 'Joshi Mafia' up and to get Kairi one more shot at Io. 'Joshi Mafia' must be stopped."
Wyndham: "Right. You added the stipulation that, if you win on Thursday, Kairi and Io must wrestle one another in a '60-minute Ironwoman' match. If Kairi wins, 'Joshi Mafia' must disband forever. While that seems like a great opportunity to end the 'Mafia,' it also is a huge chance you're taking to risk your in-ring career. Is it really worth it?"
Toyota: "It is worth it to me. I have confidence in my skill to defeat Io one-on-one. Besides, my time is drawing to a close. I have wrestled a fine career. If it is my last match, I am proud of what I have accomplished, not only for my entire career, but especially these last few months in NWA: Show Time. This is my first full-time exposure in America. The fans have treated me so well. I love them all."
Wyndham: "We love you too, Manami! You have been the best ambassador for the ladies division that anyone could have hoped for. I pray that you get the win on Thursday."
Toyota: "Thank you very much."
Regal: "What's coming on Thursday might very well be the most significant ladies match this company has ever put on. For that matter, it might be the most significant match in pro wrestling, when it happens. All eyes will be on TNT in tow days time."
Young: "I can't even conceptualize the thought of a pro wrestling world without Manami Toyota in it. She is, for my money, the greatest woman to ever lace up a pair of boots. I will be watching for sure!"
Regal: "As will I. Give 'em heck, Manami! let's get back to the ring."
Match Two ~ "Los Ingobernables"--Tetsuya Naito & "King of Darkness" EVIL vs. "Cosmic Brotherhood"--Goldust & Stardust
The dynamic of this one changed quickly, as Naito has gone from being a beloved hero to a hated villain in a couple of weeks' time. Meanwhile, the Rhodes brothers attacked him, but they're being cheered because of the family name recognition--especially in the Charlotte area--and their cohesion as a unit. Naito introduced the newest member of the group, "King of Darkness" EVIL. If he looked familiar to fans, he should. He is the former Takaaki Watanabe, who has undergone a vast personality metamorphosis of his own. EVIL was particularly aggressive in this match. His old offense was there, but it had a much more sadistic twist. The brothers Dust did have the contest going their way at the end, but the rest of "Los Ingobernables" (La Sombra, Rush, and Marco Corleone) saved their friends from defeat, causing the disqualification.
Winners = "Cosmic Brotherhood" by disqualification in 8:24
"Los Ingobernables" laid out Goldust and Stardust. Naito hit a "Stardust Press" a piece on them. "Los Ingobernables" stood tall as the crowd voiced its displeasure.
Regal: "Well, the Dust brothers got quite a shellacking there at the end."
Young: "It's amazing to see how much Tetsuya Naito has changed in a matter of days."
Regal: "Yes. He has done a complete 180. Fans, let's go to our 'woman on the beat,' Laura Cruz."
The scene cut to Laura Cruz in the backstage area.
Laura Cruz: "Hello, everyone! I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, here with all the latest developments in NWA: Show Time. The tournament to crown our first Bantamweight Champion will take place this Saturday in Norfolk, Virginia. The Scope will host matinee and evening cards in a one-day tournament. My sources tell me that this will include every newly contracted Bantamweight, as well as a handful of stars who were already on the roster, but who qualify for the new weight class. I am also hearing that this event will be offered on iPPV through showtime.com. Stay tuned for more about that on Thursday's Show Time Femme Fatales episode. I've heard that there is a team from Wild West Wrestling that is petitioning Jordan Richards for a title match with 'The Kingdom.' While this typically would be unheard of, as all NWA member promotions are contracted to their specific company, Wild West is in the unique predicament of suspending operations for the time being. The company is still in business, but Spike TV has suspended television production for the rest of the year, which does not allow Wild West wrestlers to be seen. Most of the talent is either taking paychecks while sitting at home or they have hit the independent scene for work outside of their existing contracts. So, this could be a viable option going forward. The question is, what happens if this un-contracted team wins the Show Time Tag Team Championship? I'll keep you abreast of this situation as it develops. That's all the time I have for today. I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, and that's the scoop!"
Regal: "I've often wondered if Jordan Richards would consider using non-contracted or other contracted talent. I guess we may have our answer. Fans, let's go to the ring for a much-anticipated encounter between Cody Hall and Scott Hall's best friend, 'Big Sexy' Kevin Nash! Scarlett, take it away!"
Match Three ~ Cody Hall with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties"--Shotzi Blakkhartt & Barbi Hayden vs. "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash with Commissioner Scott Hall
Young Cody made his way defiantly to the ring with the rest of the "House of Truth" en tow. The original "nWo" music hit to bring out Nash, Commissioner Scott Hall, and Deputy Commissioner Jake "The Snake" Roberts to a huge ovation.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! Cody, it doesn't have to be this way. Make the smart decision. Walk away from Truth Martini right now and we'll forget this mess ever happened. I love you, son."
Cody Hall: "Yeah, right! If you really loved me, you would have stayed sober and been there for me when I needed a father most! You're a joke!"
Scott Hall: "All right. I guess this is the way it has to be. Don't say I didn't warn you, Cody."
Nash took it to Hall early and often, laying in his patented corner elbows, dropping Cody with "Snake Eyes" in the corner, laying in several knees to the gut, and pretty much pounding the youngster. Cody persevered and took control after a timely distraction form the "Hoopla Hotties." Cody stayed on top of the much older Nash for several minutes. Kevin appeared to be in the best shape of his life, leaner than in his rookie year, but just as strong. He needed all the fitness he could muster in this one. Nash began to turn the tide after a "Sidewalk Slam" gave him some much needed moments to catch his breath. Nash hit two straight "Jackknife Powerbombs," but never covered Hall. He simply left the ring, gave Scott and Jake high fives, and went to the back. The referee counted him out and awarded the match to Cody, who lay on the mat trying to regain his wits.
Winner = Cody Hall by countout in 9:22
Regal: "Nash never even attempted a cover. He had Cody dead to rights."
Young: "I guess all he really wanted to do was teach Cody a lesson in respect."
As Hall and the "HoT" left ringside, The Rock strutted to the ring.
Regal :"I guess we're getting that interview with The Rock in the ring."
The Rock: "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Did The Rock just see what he thought he saw? Was that a white-haired, liver-spotted, wrinkled-up, geriatric piece of trash just in The Rock's ring? Did I just see 'Big Daddy Old' Kevin Nash try to wrestle, with his hobbled knees and his dentures flopping around? Oh my Lord! Boy, you ought to know better than to step foot in The Rock's ring!"
Kevin Nash re-appeared and gave The Rock his signature "crotch chop" from the entrance ramp.
The Rock: "Hey, big boy! Who do you think you are 'crotch chopping' The Rock! You don't disrespect The Rock! No one disrespects The Rock. Get your candy carcass in this ring and do something to my face!"
Nash walked intently down the aisle, but was ambushed by Brock Lesnar and "The Kingdom." As The Rock joined in the beat down, Scott Hall came back out to help his buddy. The numbers were vastly against them and they both began to take a beating. Out of nowhere, the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels hit the ring. The fans were losing their minds. He hit The Rock, Lesnar, and Adam Cole with "Sweet Chin Music." Soon, the heroes were being vanquished again. Finally, to the delight of the thousands in attendance, the "New Age Outlaws" of Road Dog and Billy Gunn sprinted to the ring and evened the odds. Charlotte, NC, was going ape! Scott Hall and friends cleared the ring. Jordan Richards grabbed a microphone.
Richards: "So, Hall, you still don't know how to leave well enough alone! You brought all you old pals to the locker room, for what? Were they supposed to be cheering you up?! Were they here as back-up in case Cody beat down Kevin Nash?! I don't care why they're here! What I do care about is that they don't belong in NWA: Show Time! They shouldn't be out here on my TV program! Hall, are you trying to make a fool out of me?! Well, I'm going to have the last laugh, old man! I am willing to sign each of your little friends here to a 30-day contract, just like I did with Nash! But, it will come with a price. I have an iPPV coming up on Saturday. It's a one-day tournament to crown the new Bantamweight Champion. But, I have room for one more match on the top of that card. So, here's my proposal. Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, and the 'New Age Outlaws' vs. Brock Lesnar, The Rock, Adam Cole, John Cena, and Randy Orton. Just to make it interesting, let's put it inside a steel cage!"
Hall: "Sounds good to us, boss! We may not be as good as we once were, but, just this once, we'll be as good as we ever were! So, boys, you'd better be able to do more than talk. Like I always say, don't sing it. Bring it!"
Regal: "Oh my! That was a blockbuster announcement from Jordan Richards after the blockbuster returns from some familiar faces!"
Young: "Holy crap! I'm losing my mind right now! That was awesome! I can't wait for Saturday night! This iPPV is going to be off the hook!"
Regal: "Fans, please watch Manami Toyota put her title and career on the line this Thursday on Show Time Femme Fatales, exclusively on TNT! And, by all means, get to your computers and order this Saturday's iPPV, that will not only crown our first Bantamweight Champion, but will see this huge 'ten-man steel cage' match in the main event! Fans, we're out of time. For Renee Young, I'm William Regal. Ta ta for now!"
