William Regal: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is the tantalizing and talented Renee Young. Renee, tonight we emanate from Bojangles Coliseum, our indoor home for the next few months. The atmosphere is electric!"
Renee Young: "Fans are excited! Heck, I'm excited, and for good reason. Tonight, every single men's championship in NWA: Show Time will be defended. Manami Toyota will also defend the Women's Championship against Maria Kanellis, who has yet to wrestle since signing with our company. I don't think she's earned the shot, but I'll be interested to see if she can give Toyota a competitive match."
Regal: "Indeed. Let's hand it over to Scarlett Bordeaux for the introductions to our first championship encounter."
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "The Kingdom"--Michael Bennett & Matt Taven with Maria Kanellis vs. "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony
"The Kingdom" made their entrance with every member of their posse en tow ("The Show" Jordan Richards, Brock Lesnar, The Rock, and Adam Cole). Just then, the original "nWo" music hit to bring out Commissioner Scott Hall and Deputy Commissioner Jake "The Snake" Roberts.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! Jordan, you're bringing way too many guests to this party. I need to inform you that Maria Kanellis is the only one of you who has a valid Manager's License. So, everyone else has no business being out here. That means you boys better get to steppin'!"
Jake Roberts: "In fact, if they don't stay in the back for each match, or if they try to interfere at all, your boys will be stripped of every championship they own!"
Jordan Richards: "Hall, Roberts, I've told you before that you have overstepped your bounds. Gentlemen, you're pushing your luck with me. My guys will stay in the back, but I own this company. You can't force me to do anything! I'm joining the commentary team tonight!"
With that, the match began. "SoS" were the inaugural NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions, and came on the scene as an unheralded team. Since winning the championship tournament, they have shown the world how good they are. "SoS" took it to "The Kingdom" impressively with tandem offense and stellar defense. Bennett and Taven quickly became frustrated at their inability to gain traction against the former champions. The champions retained through some "trickeration," as Maria scratched Boomer Payne in the eyes when the referee's back was turned, which made him an easy target for the "Spike Piledriver" after Bennett and Taven had taken out Brice Anthony.

Regal: "Dastardly! 'The Kingdom' seems to scrape on by the skins of their teeth every week!"
Young: "One day, they will get their comeuppance."
Regal: "After the break, Manami Toyota will defend the Women's crown."
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Women's Championship (and NWA World Women's Championship) ~ Manami Toyota vs. Maria Kanellis
Originally, this match only was for the Show Time version of the Women's Championship. Jordan Richards got on the microphone and goaded Toyota into putting the NWA World Women's Championship up for grabs as well. After all, he is the Chairman of the NWA Board of Governors, so he can easily okay an impromptu title defense. It didn't really matter, as Toyota purely outclassed Kanellis (who is an accomplished competitor in her own right) from the opening bell. Kanellis has not wrestled in some time and the ring rust was apparent. She simply could not keep up with Manami's offense. Richards himself evened the playing field by barking at Toyota and causing a distraction that allowed Kanellis to sneak-attack and gain the advantage. Kanellis then worked Toyota over for a few minutes, but Manami was simply too good to stay down. She made her comeback and had Maria on the ropes. Toyota hit the "Japanese Queen Bee Bomb," and it was lights out for Kanellis. As the referee (Carly Rae) made the count, Richards stopped her and gave an excuse that she was fast-counting. This momentary lapse gave Maria enough time to recover and kick out of a subsequent pin attempt. Toyota then approached Richards to complain and was scooped up from behind by Kanellis into a "Schoolboy Roll." Kanellis had the tights and her feet on the ropes as Rae made the three-count. What an upset! Maria Kanellis had stolen both the NWA World and NWA: Show Time Women's Championships in one shot!
As Richards and Kanellis celebrated, Scott Hall came to the ring and ordered a restart after showing Rae a replay of the dubious pin. Toyota ran up behind Kanellis and executed a bridging "O'Connor Roll" for the quick pin to retain the titles!
Winner and still NWA World and NWA: Show Time Women's Champion = Manami Toyota by pinfall in a total match time of 9:43
Richards and Kanellis were livid. Richards was screaming that there is no instant replay in professional wrestling. Kanellis was nearly pulling her hair out in anger. Richards grabbed a microphone.
Richards: "Hall! You've done it this time! Now, you'll have to put your money where your mouth is! Next week, you will be in the ring against Brock Lesnar and I'm the special referee, pal! Deal with that, 'Bad Guy!'"
Regal: "My word! Our CEO has just booked Commissioner Scott Hall in a match next week with 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar, and has made himself the special referee. Hall is in for a beating!"
Young: "Things don't look good for Scott Hall."
Regal: "Fans, up next, The Rock will defend the Television Championship."
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ The Rock vs. Claudio Castagnoli
Castagnoli has been a perennial main event caliber talent since being signed by NWA: Show Time. The Rock is a hall-of-fame caliber star and won the Television Championship almost immediately upon arriving. Claudio took it to The Rock, who was caught off guard. I suspect that The Rock assumed Castagnoli would be "star struck" at the fact that he was opposing "The Great One." This was not the case. Claudio was laser focused. His in-ring acumen is second-to-none, and his strength is inhuman for his size. The Rock outweighs Castagnoli by forty pounds and has muscles stacked on top of muscles. However, Claudio matched him hold-for-hold and move-for-move. The Rock finally used his veteran wits to secure victory. Castagnoli went for a "Stinger Splash" in the corner. The Rock ducked, sending Claudio crashing headlong into the corner. As he bounded off, The Rock nailed a "Rock Bottom" for the pin.
Winner and still NWA: Show Time Television Champion = The Rock by pinfall in 8:39
Regal: "Now, that was a classic that The Rock won by his own merit. It's refreshing to see a member of Jordan Richards' gang win one with no help whatsoever."
Young: "The Rock is a legend and he definitely proved why in that match."
Regal: "Our main event will follow after a brief word from Laura Cruz."
The scene cut to a backstage shot of Laura Cruz.
Laura Cruz: "Hello, everyone! I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, here with all the latest Show Time gossip! Jordan Richards is promising fireworks for Clash of the Champions 'Halloween Havoc' on October 24. I don't know what that means, but our CEO never seems to do anything on a small scale. Rumors are that we may see NWA World Champion CM Punk on Show Time television again very soon. Since TV tapings for his home territory, NWA: Wild West have been suspended for the time being, it will be an opportune time for him to make a televised appearance on an international cable network like TBS. After the 'Mask vs. Mask' match last week, as well as the controversial aftermath, Myzteziz and La Sombra have sworn revenge on 'Los Ingobernables.' In fact, I can state conclusively that luchador La Mascara will be joining 'Super Luchas' in the fight against Volador, Jr., Rush, and Marco Corleone. La Sombra, due to the disgrace of having his mask ripped apart and his face exposed to the world, has chosen to remain unmasked, but is still fuming at that fact. This has become a blood feud very quickly. Next week, members of those two teams will face off in what promises to be a barnburner. Over in our ladies division, the rumors of 'Candy Crush' and 'Joshi Mafia' came to pass. Now, Kairi Hojo and Chelsea Diamond are out for more than just retribution after defeating Io and Mio Shirai on Show Time Femme Fatales. They want a shot at the tag team championship. We'll see how this situation develops, as well as the progression of the 'Femme Fatales Top Gun' Tournament, which continues for the next few weeks. Well fans, my time is up for today. I'm 'Locker Room Lovely' Laura Cruz, and that's the scoop!"
Regal: "Exciting develops, as always, in NWA: Show Time. I understand that 'So Cal' Valerie is standing by with NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole and Maria Kanellis. Val?"
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole. Adam, what are your thoughts on tonight's title defense against Kevin Steen?"
Adam Cole: "I'm Adam Cole. He's Kevin Steen. I've beaten him before. I'll beat him again. He is no match for the greatest wrestler on the planet. Just because Scott Hall and Jake 'The Snake' want to stack the deck against us, doesn't mean that we're going to lose. In fact, it only proves how dominant we are. Two defenses are in the bag with two championships staying where they belong. Why would I have any reason to believe the story will change in my match?"
Wyndham: "Well, Kevin Steen is no pushover. He is a former World Heavyweight Champion, after all."
Cole: "Val, why don't you check the record? Our website shows results for all NWA: Show Time live events. Do your homework, toots! I have beaten Kevin Steen all over the territory. He wants you to think he's better than me. But, I am standing here with the gold around my waist. He is the guy who cashes in the loser's share of the purse, while I'm the guy who gets his hand raised and goes home with the prom queen. Kevin Steen, tonight will be the same old song and dance for you, because, I'm Adam Cole, baby!"
Wyndham: "Back to you, William."
Regal: "A supremely confident champion, Renee."
Young: "Maybe a little too confident, if you ask me. Kevin Steen is no walk in the park. Adam Cole has his hands full."
Match Four ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ Adam Cole with Maria Kanellis vs. Kevin Steen
As both competitors took to the ring, Jordan Richards made an announcement.
Richards: "Since this is our main event and I want huge ratings for it, as if Adam Cole's presence is not enough, I am making this a 'Lumberjack' match. So, Hall and Roberts, I'm lifting the ban you have on my guys for this battle. I want the locker room cleared and everyone out here for this one."
As the Show Time superstars flooded the ringside area, Commissioner Scott Hall and Deputy Commissioner Jake "The Snake" Roberts reappeared.
Hall: "That's fine and dandy, boss, but we're gonna stay out here to make sure your boys don't give Cole an unfair advantage."
Cole and Steen put on a whale of a match inside the ring. It was only marred by the lumberjack involvement when either was tossed to the outside. Steen was a man possessed. He came at Cole with ferocity. Cole spent the first six to eight minutes on defense, before finally taking over half-way through. The end of the match was muddied by the myriad of personal agendas between the lumberjacks, who eventually began an all-out war on each other, that included Cole and Steen themselves on the floor. Scott Hall was decked by Brock Lesnar. When Jake Roberts and referee Nick Patrick came to his aid, Lesnar took the opportunity to "f-5" Steen on the hardwood arena floor. Lesnar rolled Steen back into the ring and commanded Patrick to "pay attention" to the match. Cole made the cover as Patrick slid in for the three-count.
Winner and still NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion ~ Adam Cole by pinfall in 15:32
Regal: "Try as they might, Hall and Roberts could not keep the treachery from taking place. In fact, he took a shot for his trouble. Something drastic must be done to stop Jordan Richards and his cronies!"
Young: "Outside of the entire roster banding together against 'Team Richards,' I don't know what's going to work."
Regal: "Fans, hopefully we'll see the tide turn soon in this civil war of ours. Please tune in next Tuesday on TBS to watch Commissioner Scott Hall step back into the ring against Brock Lesnar, right here on the Show Time Power Hour. Don't forget, this Tuesday on TNT, catch another exciting episode of Show Time Femme Fatales. For Renee Young, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
