Since the reinvention of professional wrestling and the redefining of the National Wrestling Alliance back in the Spring, the territories have taken the world by storm! As a member of the NWA Board of Governors, I have watched it all unfold with great excitement. It is with that excitement in mind that I officially announce that yours truly, "The Show" Jordan Richards, has opened NWA: Show Time for business!
NWA: Show Time has set up its headquarters in Charlotte, NC, with me as the CEO, and will operate in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia). NWA: Show Time will honor the legacy that was set before it by Jim Crockett Promotions and Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling. NWA: Show Time will, just as JCP before it, become the absolute standard-bearer in the NWA territory system. NWA: Show Time has plans in place to run live events, super cards, and pay-per-view, either through an internet live streaming service (in iPPV format) or via more traditional pay-per-view avenues. NWA: Show Time has signed a syndication contract with WRAL studios in Raleigh, NC, for local television distribution rights and is in talks with no less than three cable television networks for national distribution rights.
NWA: Show Time has amassed an impressive list of talent that will be unveiled in this press release. The NWA: Show Time roster is loaded with well-known and world travelled superstars. As the CEO and as a former professional wrestler myself, I also wanted to ensure that some individuals with whom I have shared the ring over the years are a part of NWA: Show Time, to enhance the "hometown flavor" that the promotion seeks to cultivate. These names are highlighted in red. Otherwise, the remaining names on the list are those who comprise the staff of NWA: Show Time and NWA: Femme Fatales, with the exception of those designated as trainees. They are not under contract as talent, but have signed agreements to train in our facilities.
