Mercedes Mone

I've been as big a supporter of creating a women's division & promoting women's wrestling as anyone. That being said I've had my issues with Mercedes Mone for a while now & the match at All In kind of brought this all to a boil.

I'm going to shoot from the hip on the Mercedes/Britt match from All In:

First off Britt Baker was never a great wrestler, she could be decent when paired with the right opponent, but she herself not great.

And I was a Sasha Banks fan, here's the problem: I WAS A SASHA BANKS FAN. I was a fan of Sasha Banks because she had a great match in 2016 with Charlotte Flair on a random episode of Raw and she had a great Hell in a Cell match with Bayley & the TakeOver Brooklyn match.

Ok let's talk about now and the bottom line is now, the people don't care about her, they don't and it's like a dirty thing to say that the fans now don't care about this woman.

 
Don't believe me go watch when she came out, with all the pomp and circumstance, Kamille in the back of the carriage when all the beefeaters came out it was silent, she stood there and did the CEO dance and you heard the music really clear when Ospreay came out the entire crowd was singing Elevated, hell when Britt Baker came out there was a pop so at least there was something.

Nobody gave a fuck about Mercedes. Can we take the kid gloves off now? Her promos are bad I don't care how much better she is since they pivoted from a terrible face to a heel, she is not good at cutting promos, her character is corny, the fans don't care about her.

Can we just admit it now?

Were they in the death spot to go after Ospreay & MJF? Yeah, I don't care, I don't care that the match was underwhelming I care that it was heatless, it shouldn't have been heatless. 

You know who else were in the death spot? Fuckin Edge/ Cena/Big Show had to follow Taker/HBK having one of the greatest Mania matches of all time and they got the whole arena behind them. Mercedes should at least be able to do that, she cuts the same bad promo everytime.

People can't admit it because they like Sasha Banks, but this woman is not Sasha Banks anymore. She's not. Can we take the kid gloves off & talk about her like she's anybody else now. I like Sasha Banks too, but Mercedes Mone has been kind of a dud. She's in there with Britt Baker, can we all acknowledge whether you think Britt is good or bad, before Mercedes got there Britt was the most over woman on the AEW roster.

There is no reason if Mercedes is the star & the character people act like she is that they both go out there and have a heatless match. 

This Mercedes Mone thing has been a flop. Period.
