WWE President Nick Khan was spotted in attendance at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport this past Thursday and took a picture with GCW founder Brett Lauderdale. WWE’s Shayna Baszler performed at the event.
In regards to WWE working with other wrestling companies in the future, Justin Barrasso of SI.com noted the following…
“Speaking with numerous contacts surrounding Khan, one of WWE’s potential explorations is to engineer a collaboration with other professional wrestling promotions. That is an area WWE rarely explored during McMahon’s four-plus decades of leadership, so it represents a new realm for Khan to make a lasting impact.

He was the one responsible for giving Levesque the green light to work with then-TNA Wrestling President Scott D’Amore, which led to emerging star Jordynne Grace–who is the TNA Knockouts champion–making an appearance in the women’s Royal Rumble match this past January.”
Since the resignation of Vince McMahon in January of 2024, WWE has been using the term “professional wrestling” more frequently. At the end WWE Wrestlemania 40, announcer Corey Graves said that “pro wrestling is back.”
After the event, Ibou of WrestlePurists.com wrote via Twitter/X, “Spoke to someone from WWE who told me that the promotion is deliberately moving away from the terminology of Sports Entertainment.” Corey Brennan of Fightful.com later wrote, “Fightful Select was able to confirm @backuphangman’s report that WWE are intentionally looking to move away from the Sports Entertainment moniker and back to pro wrestling.”

The next WWE Draft is on 4/26
This Draft is going to be a lot different then year's past. When Triple H took over he inherited rosters that was already set up by Vince, this is his chance to set the rosters up the way HE wants, (hopefully this will be a hard brand split, no more of this Wildcard bullshit) now it's Triple H's company and he's going to show Vince what the company could have been for years, but he wouldn't relinquish control, there's no more Vince now, Triple H is in full control, it's his Era & his Company
