In lieu of the traditional opening, footage of NWA World Champion WALTER coming into the building was shown. He was attacked by "Samoan Dynasty," which laid waste to him. WALTER was simply scheduled to make an appearance on the broadcast, and therefore his "Imperium" brethren were not in attendance.
The normal episode opening then aired. William Regal, Mauro Ranallo, and Jim Cornette introduced the program and talked about what happened to WALTER and tried to make sense of it. Just then, the World Champion's music hit and he came out to a big ovation. WALTER grabbed a microphone and demanded retribution against "Samoan Dynasty," which brought the group out. Jimmy Uso acted as a spokesperson and offered up big Jacob Fatu. WALTER accepted.
Commentary was sent to Cathy Kelley and the Legends Commentary Team.
Match One ~ If Michaels Wins, He Gets a Legends Championship Match Next Week ~ "The KliQ" banned from ringside ~ "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels vs. Christian Cage
Cage had this one in the bag with "Killswitch Engage." Michaels was down, but so was the referee. Cage tried desperately to rouse the flattened official, to no avail. Finally, a replacement referee raced down to ringside. By this time, Michaels had recovered and nailed "Sweet Chin Music" on Christian and got the pin.
Winner = Shawn Michaels by pinfall in 12:18
Match Two ~ "Anarchy" (Ava Lawless, Violet Payne, & Heather Reckless) with Riley Madison and Tara Zep vs. "Dixie Darlings" (Jolene & Jolynn) and Rocky Radley
The numbers game proved to be too much for the heroes this time, as the distractions of Madison and Zep got to Radley and friends. Reckless ended it with a "Frogsplash" after a double team from Lawless and Payne.
Winners = "Anarchy" by pinfall in 10:29
After the match, "Anarchy" tried the gang warfare on their opponents, but Rok-C, Nikkita Lyons, and Maya Yukihi came running out and cleared the ring.
Before the main event, the announcers hyped the happenings of SuperBrawl, where "The Fiend" made his return and cost Aleister Black and Alexa Bliss potential gold, when he shot a fireball in Black's face. They further discussed Marty Scurll's challenge from last week, which has been accepted by Lio Rush, but only for next week.
Match Three (non-title) ~ "Ring General" WALTER vs. Jacob Fatu with Trinity Uso
This was a war. Both men beat the hide off each other. They threw "Suplexes" and "Powerbombs" at one another. They punched and kicked. Back and forth they went, with no one having an advantage long. In the end, WALTER had taken over and locked in his "Sleeper." The Usos and Sefa Fatu hit the ring and broke things up.
Winner = WALTER by disqualification in 22:54
"Samoan Dynasty" stood tall against the World Champion to end the program.
