MJF with multiple Side Headlock Takeovers, Darby shrugs it off & shoves MJF, Double Wristlock, MJF bridges up into a cover, Darby fights out, Hurricanrana for a 2 count, MJF with a Monkey Flip, but Darby lands on his feet, double nip up, MJF with a Lariat then the Fargo Strut, back in, MJF taunts the crowd, but Darby with a Tope Suicida wipes MJF and sends him into the steps, Darby steps on MJF's throat, up top, Coffin Drop, but MJF avoids it and Darby hits the ring apron HARD, MJF sends him back in, Elbow Drop to the back for a 2 count, Surfboard Stetch, Daby fights out & looks for the Tilt-a-Whirl, but MJF counters into La Atlantida for a near fall, MJF sends Darby into the turnbuckles, he tries it again, but Darby reverses, Coffin Splash blocked into a Backbreaker, Protobomb Backbreaker, he sets Darby up top, Darby takes a bite out of MJF, MJF counters an Avalanche Diamond Dust, Darby blocks an Avalanche Tombstone & hits Diamond Dust, Straight Headbutt, he looks for the kill, but MJF rolls to the other side of the ring, Side Headlock Takeover for a 2 count, Powerbomb Backbreaker gets a near fall, MJF bites the fingers, Darby bridges up, MJF with a thumb to the eye, Darby tries Code Red, but MJF counters into a Tenryu-Style Powerbomb and stacks Darby up, but only gets a near fall, MJF with a Sharpshooter, but Darby hammers at the knee, Last Supper blocked, Darby with a Chop-Block, MJF up to the second, Double Stomp to the arm, Salt of the Earth blocked, Darby with a Chop-Block and locks in the Figure 4, but MJF turns it over & Darby makes it to the rope, MJF with a Tombstone on the ring apron, but he's clutching his knee, MJF rolls back in the ring, Darby back in at 9, Darby counters a Suplex into a Small Package, they roll it back and forth, Darby gets the advantage for a near fall, Side Headlock Takeover, MJF tries a Last Ride, but Darby counters into Code Red for a very close near fall, Darby up top, but MJF rolls to the floor, Darby still sees his target & hits the Coffin Drop on the floor, back in, he tries it again, but MJF gets the knees up, Shawn Spears comes down, but Sting wipes him out with the bat and chair shots and some for Wardlow as well, back in the ring with an O'Connor Roll, MJF turns it around and grabs the tights for a near fall, Basement Superkick and clutches his bad knee, MJF grabs Darby's skateboard, he rolls it to Darby and tells him to hit him, Darby won't do it & hands it to Bryce, but MJF played them both and has the Dynamite Diamond Ring and knocks Darby out with a loaded punch behind Bryce's back, Side Headlock Takeover into a cover & MJF gets the win

Bros take it to FTR right out of the gate, Penta Backdrops Cash to the floor, Dax wit a rollup for a 2 count, Oklahoma Roll for a 2 count, Penta with a Crucifix Pin for a 2 count, Bros look for the Double Whammy, but Dax pulls Cash to safety, Double Fallaway Slam on Fenix into Penta on the floor, Dax sends Fenix back in, Penta with a a pair of Slingblades, Fenix sends Dax into Cash, Gamengiri on Dax, they tie Cash to the Tree of Woe, Assisted Cannonball then the Double Whammy gets a near fall, Penta goes after Dax's knee, Bros with The Taffy Machine, but Knox is going to make them break it as all the men are in there, FTR with a Stungun on Penta gets a near fall as Tully causes a distraction, Cash ties Penta's mask to the rope, Knox unties Penta, FTR with a Double Decavitator as they mock Penta, Dax with a Standing Legdrop for a near fall, Penta counters a Piledriver, but Cash distracts the ref so he doesn't see the tag, Penta fights back with a Barrel Roll DDT on Dax, Fenix with a Barrel Roll Double Ace Crusher, but Cash makes the save, Rope Walk PK gets a near fall, Barrel Roll DDT blocked, O'Connor Roll, but when Dax kicks out, Cash is on the apron with the AAA Tag Title and blasts Fenix, Dax with a Sheerdrop Brainbuster, but only gets a near fall, Fenix goes for a Barrel Roll DDT again, but FTR counters into Grand Amplitude (that one's for you Chad Gable & Jason Jordan), but still only get a near fall, Big Rig blocked, Penta with a Superkick, Bros want the kill, but Tully grabs Penta's leg, Dax with a straight right hand, then mocks Eddie Guerrero & hits Two of the Three Amigos as Penta blocks the 3rd (This isn't the last time the Eddie stuff will come into play tonight & there is a reason for it: when he passed away it was in a hotel room in Minneapolis MN on 11/13, so this show is taking place on the anniversary of his passing in the same exact city he died) Penta with the Three Amigos, Fenix up top with a Frog Splash, but only gets a near fall, Fenix with a Rebound Spinning Heel Kick on Cash, FTR blocks the Assisted Fear Factor and hits The Mind Breaker, but only gets a near fall, Fenix with a Small Package for a near fall, Bros look for the kilss, Fear Factor, Diving Cross Body combo, but still only gets a near fall, FTR puts the lucha masks on, Cash stacks Penta up with his feet on the rope, but Knox catches it, Assisted Fear Factor ends it, but Cash was the illegal man, Knox couldn't tell because Cash & Dax had the masks on so their strategy came back to backfire on FTR

So what were your favorite matches on Full Gear Flame?

Corny and Brian seemed to be in agreement that MJF and Darby Allin was an instant classic and "One of the best openers in PPV history"

CM Punk vs Eddie Kingston was a compelling brawl, and believe it or not even Omega vs Adam Page was praised as not bad at all, and the 3rd best match on the card.

So it would seem this show had it's moments for even stiff critics.

There's not a whole lot that I didn't like, I'm of the belief there can be multiple styles on one card so even the Falls Count Anywhere & Street Fights I thought were good. To me this show felt like a Gabe Sapolsky ROH show with how it was one great match after another, that first 90 minutes is arguably one of the best opening hour and a half to any show.

The aforementioned matches both had a purpose, the Falls Count Anywhere match was about Jungle Boy finally accepting that he can't be the nice guy and has to adopt a killer instinct if he's to be successful & the Street Fight was about (hopefully) being the last we see of Dan Lambert.

The show had everything there was the hardcore matches, there was the King's Road style match of Bryan & Miro, there was the all out fight of Punk & Kingston, there was joshi action, there was lucha vs traditional tag, personal rivalry in MJF & Darby and then to top it off you had the culmination of a 2 year build of Hangman Page finally winning the World Title: I've heard people say the tag run he and Omega was filler, but it really wasn't, those tag matches when he and Omega were together where he was basically doing solo comebacks.

The entire tag run was specifically designed to build Hangman. He did a lot of the work in their matches, had all those hot comebacks, and a ton of them ended with the Buckshot (even if Kenny got the pin).

4 and a half to Kingston vs Danielson, 4 and a half to Darby vs MJF

Meltzer has definitely lost every bit of credibility he ever had. He's a shill for the Bucks and Omega.

I mean Omega is really good, but that match with Hangman wasn't 5 star match, it was good but not that good.

Young Bucks & Adam Cole street fight was decent but 5 stars? C'mon ....

Right now AEW has 3 5,5☆ or more matches, while AJPW has only 1 (that includes 90s classics with Misawa, Kobashi etc...), I like AEW but that just joke.
