William Regal, Mauro Ranallo, and Jim Cornette introduced the episode with a ton of hype, as two World Championship matches would headline the broadcast. After much ballyhoo, the team threw it over to Cathy Kelley and the Legends commentary crew to introduce match one.
Kelly, Jim Ross, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Tony Schiavone previewed the Legends Division match, which would see Kurt Angle once again challenge Edge, this time with a guaranteed Legends Championship opportunity on the line.
Match One ~ "Rated R Superstar" Edge vs. "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle
In an intense and very controversial match, Angle got the pin after striking Edge with a steel chair while the referee was down.
Winner = Kurt Angle by pinfall in 13:10
Match Two ~ NWA World Tag Team Championship ~ "Glorious Outlaws" ("Glorious" Bobby Roode & "Outlaw" James Storm) with "Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Maryse Ouellet vs. Jimmy & Jey Uso with Trinity Uso
This was such a great tag team match. Both teams were on their A-game. The challengers looked like they might become World Champions for some time. In the end, the wily champions came out on top after a misdirection that ended up with a "Last Call" into a "Glorious DDT."
Winners and STILL NWA World Tag Team Champions = "Glorious Outlaws" by pinfall in 19:32
Match Three ~ NWA World Heavyweight Championship ~ "Ring General" WALTER vs. Trent Seven
The match began with "The Artful Dodger" attacking the titleholder before he could even get into the ring, signaling the brutal encounter to come. When WALTER finally took control, it quickly became clear that he wasn’t out to beat his opponent but to punish him. The "Austrian Anomaly" attacked with every vicious tool in his arsenal.
No matter what the fierce champion threw at him, however, the determined Seven refused to give up and continued to answer back with every bit of offense he could muster–including countering WALTER’s top-rope "Powerbomb" attempt with an earth-shattering "Superplex" that rocked the titleholder for the near-fall.
Nevertheless, WALTER took control outside the ring and hit a powerful "Powerbomb" onto the apron before drilling Seven with a second one back in the ring. Refusing to go for the pin, The "Ring General" instead hit a third dose of the vicious finishing maneuver.
Then, with "Imperium" emerging to stand ringside in a symbol of dominance, WALTER went on to hit a fourth, fifth, and sixth "Powerbomb" until the referee finally stopped the match.
Winner and STILL NWA World Heavyweight Champion = WALTER by referee stoppage in 22:17
"British Strong Style" came out to tend to their fallen friend as the episode was nearing its conclusion.
