The episode opened with "Doomsday" beating down Kota Ibushi in the back. Then, the traditional opening went live. William Regal, Mauro Ranallo, and Jim Cornette introduced the episode. They were interrupted by Commissioner Sting, who came out and made a match for the main event with all of "Doomsday" against Kota Ibushi and partners of his choosing.
Regal threw it over to Cathy Kelley, who introduced the Legends commentary team of Jim Ross, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Tony Schiavone to call the first match.
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Legends Tag Team Championship ~ "The KliQ" ("Big Sexy" Kevin Nash & "The Bad Guy" Scott Hall with "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels) vs. "Harlem Heat" (Booker T & Stevie Ray)
T had promised a big surprise when he made the title challenge. His older brother came out looking as good as he did during his competitive days. They gave Hall and Nash all they could handle. This match harkened back to 1997 when "The Outsiders" won the WCW World Tag Team Titles from "HH." This outcome was no different. After interference from "New Age Outlaws," who weren't at ringside during the match, Ray was hit with the "Jackknife Powerbomb" from Nash for the win.
Winners and STILL NWA: Show Time Legends Tag Team Champions = "The KliQ" by pinfall in 12:28
Match Two ~ Ariya Daivari with Shawn Daivari and "Bollywood Boyz" (Sunil & Samir Singh) vs. "The Man Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville with "The Villain" Marty Scurll
This was a high-flying, fast-paced affair that was exactly what fans of the Cruiserweight Division would expect. Daivari, one-half of the Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions with his brother, was the aggressor against Neville, who tweaked his shoulder early. Ariyah worked the shoulder over for the bulk of the match. It wasn't until Marty Scurll caused a diversion with the Singh brothers and Shawn Daivari that the match turned. He started an argument with them at ringside that got the referee focused on them. Scurll subtly slid his umbrella into the ring. Neville blasted Ariyah with it, then dragged himself up the ropes and hit "Red Arrow" for the win.
Winner = Adrian Neville by pinfall in 14:45
Match Three ~ "Doomsday" ("Modern Day Messiah" Seth Rollins, Killer Kross, Kevin Steen, Judas, & Austin Theory with Scarlett) vs. Kota Ibushi and four mystery partners
Ibushi came out alone. Jim Cornette said from commentary, as he stood up and took his headphones off, "Watch this." Suddenly, "The Revival" came out. They stopped halfway down the ramp and turned their attention toward the stage. Out came the Tag Team Champions "The Mighty Don't Kneel." The match was on and it was a big brawl. Eventually, the referee lost all control and threw the match out.
Winners = no contest in 18:02
The fans were booing vociferously. Commissioner Sting came out and declared, "No way! We're restarting this one, and it's 'No D-Q!'"
After another three minutes, "The Revival" hit "Shatter Machine" on Theory, which Ibushi followed up with his "Phoenix Splash" for the win.
Winners = Kota Ibushi, "The Revival," & "The Mighty Don't Kneel" by pinfall in a total match time of 21:54
Regal then closed the episode out with his weekly encouragement to have fans join them again for the Show Time Power Hour next Tuesday.
