William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, 'Summer Sizzle' was a huge event and a huge success!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Absolutely, it was! What a night and what a card of wrestling!"
Jim Cornette: "All I can say is, 'And still NWA World Tag Team Champions, 'The Revival!' But, I can guaran-dang-tee you that we're not done with Bobby Roode and James Storm! Not by a longshot!"
Regal: "Jim, how are Dash and Dawson after that post-match attack by 'The Four Horsemen?'"
Cornette: "Well, my guys are convalescing at home. That's all I'll say about that. But, rest assured, they're plotting revenge as we speak!"
Regal: "We assumed so. I'm sure we'll be hearing or seeing their rebuttal soon enough. Okay fans, tonight's program will be big! Our newest heavyweight, Kota Ibushi, has laid down a challenge to 'War Machine' for the Tag Team Championship, which has been accepted! Kota's partner is a mystery and he's been tight lipped to everyone, but we'll see who it is tonight! Also, Jake Hager, representing 'The Varsity Club,' will challenge Killer Kross for the Mid-Atlantic Championship in the main event! But first, we'll go to the ring for cruiserweight action!"
Match One ~ Tyler Bate with Joanna Rose vs. "The Villain" Marty Scurll

Match One ~ Tyler Bate with Joanna Rose vs. "The Villain" Marty Scurll
Winner = Tyler Bate by pinfall in 12:40
Regal: "That was a big win for Tyler Bate!"
Ranallo: "Tyler Bate has to be in line for a title shot at Johnny Gargano after that victory!"
Cornette: "Tyler Bate is one of the best young talents in the business, period!"
Regal: "Fans, we need to take a commercial break. When we return, Kota Ibushi and a mystery partner will challenge 'War Machine' for the Tag Team Championship!"
Regal: "We're back! Fans, Kota Ibushi has promised a partner that is worthy of the Tag Team Title match that he levied against 'War Machine!' The time is now! Who is this mystery partner?!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) vs. Kota Ibushi & a mystery partner
Kota came out by himself and demanded the champions come out. Once they did, everyone was shocked as Ibushi pointed to the tron:

Kota came out by himself and demanded the champions come out. Once they did, everyone was shocked as Ibushi pointed to the tron:
Hiroshi Tanahashi came running to the ring as "War Machine" looked surprised to see the Japanese megastar. Ibushi and Tanahashi have been friends for years over in Japan. They've teamed before, so they had instant chemistry here. The champions never really could get on their normal track, having not prepared for someone of Tanahashi's caliber and experience. Ultimately, Tana and Ibushi had the match won until Rowe pulled the referee into the path of an oncoming Kota. Once the referee came back to his senses, he rang the bell to signal the DQ.
Winners = Kota Ibushi & Hiroshi Tanahashi by disqualification in 20:28 ("War Machine" retains)
Regal: "I'm shocked to see 'War Machine' purposely get themselves disqualified!"
Ranallo: "That might have been the only way to save the titles!"
Cornette: "Kota and Tanahashi were cooking at the end! 'War Machine' saw their title reign ending and Rowe did the only thing he could to save it at the time! I can;t say I haven't done the same before!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, we need to take another break. When we return, Killer Kross will defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship against Jake Hager!"
Regal: "We're back! Before we go to our main event, Cathy Kelley is backstage with 'The Varsity Club!'"
Cathy Kelley: "I am here with the entire 'Varsity Club.' Tonight, they'll be represented by Jake Hager, who is set to challenge Killer Kross for the Mid-Atlantic Championship. this will be Jake's highest profile match since joining the company."
Kurt Angle: "Jake is ready. He's an athlete who's used to winning. All of 'The Varsity Club' is, down to Eve and myself. We are all winners and tonight will be no different. Oh, it's true!"
Jake Hager: "Killer Kross, you don't scare me one bit. Tonight, you;re going to feel the strength and skill of an All-American champion when I snap your ankle!"
Regal: "It sounds like Jake Hager is ready for this title match! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ Killer Kross with Scarlett vs. Jake Hager with "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle & Eve Torres
This was a hoss fight between two men who have wrestling and MMA backgrounds. Both men know how to inflict punishment and they take great pleasure in doing it. It was a virtual stalemate until Seth Rollins, Kevin Steen, and Austin Theory made their way to the ring. They caused a distraction that put Kross in the driver's seat. Brock Lesnar and Shelton Benjamin came out to somewhat even the odds outside the ring, but Kross was dominating inside it. That is, until the lights went out. Once they came back up, Kross was lifeless in center ring. Jake was down, but crawled over and threw his arm over the chest of his fallen opponent. The referee counted the three, still puzzled at exactly what had happened.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Jake Hager by pinfall in 18:33
Regal: "What is going on here?!"
Ranallo: "The lights went out and so did Killer Kross!"
Cornette: "And now, we have a new champion!"
As "The Varsity Club" celebrated inside the ring, Rollins and company were knelt over the downed Kross.
Then, it all became apparent:

Then, it all became apparent:
The lights went out again. When they came up, "The Fiend" and Aleister Black were standing on the entrance ramp as the laughter continued to ring out.
Regal: "Fans, "The Fiend" continues to play mind games with 'Modern Day Messiah' Seth Rollins, but this time, he cost 'Doomsday' some hardware! Well, we're all out of time for this week. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
As the credits were rolling, "Doomsday" ran up the ramp. The lights flickered off, then back on a couple of seconds later. But, "Fiend" and Black had vanished.
