The episode began with a roar of applause from the crowd and Ring Announcer Samantha Smart standing in the ring.
Samantha Smart: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome NWA: Femme Fatales owner and CEO Jordan Richards.”
Jordan Richards came to the ring with a huge smile on his face.
Jordan Richards: “Thank you, Samantha! Okay folks, you’ve seen the press release from the NWA Board of Governors, of which I am the Chairman. So, I am here to shed some further light on the big news. NWA: Femme Fatales will embark on a worldwide expansion and become the first truly all-world NWA territory since WCW in the nineteen nineties! Before I go any further, I have to bring out the woman who was the catalyst behind this expansion, our esteemed General Manager, Karlee Perez!”
Perez came to the ring to much fanfare and a big smile on her face as well.
Richards: “Karlee, this is a monumental announcement! Now, you came to me a few weeks ago with the idea to take NWA: Femme Fatales from the Mid-Atlantic region of the US to create a multi-country expansion. Tell the fans how this idea came to you.”
Karlee Perez: “Honestly, the idea came to me as I was watching this feud between ‘Donna del Mondo’ and the combination of ‘Bada** Besties’ and ‘British Invasion.’ I saw the animosity between the two sides. And, I remember the interview where Toni Storm alluded to the UK versus Japan element. I began to look at the overall diversity of our roster and the fact that we have women literally from around the world. I just thought, ‘Why not give these women real platforms to perform in front of their home country fans?’”
Richards: “Well said, and that leads me to the actual details of the expansion. NWA: Femme Fatales, as you all now know, will split into three separate and distinct divisions—NWA: Femme Fatales Americas will represent North, South, and Latin America. NWA: Femme Fatales Europa will be comprised of every European country and also will include Australia. NWA: Femme Fatales Asia will be comprised of all Asian countries. The international headquarters will remain at our offices here in Charlotte, North Carolina. However, satellite offices will open up in Rio de Janeiro, London, and Tokyo. Karlee will remain as the General Manager of the entire company and she will visit each of these offices monthly. But, due to the size and distance of this endeavor, she will not be able to run the day-to-day for the separate divisions. Therefore, Commissioners will be named for each of the three branches. The new Commissioners are as follows, for NWA: Femme Fatales Americas, none other than Canadian Latina, ‘Dark Angel’ Sarah Stock! NWA: Femme Fatales Europa will be Commissioned by British wrestling great Saraya Knight! And, NWA: Femme Fatales Asia will have as its Commissioner the legendary Bull Nakano! Now, as far as how this will affect the televised product, that’s simple. The Femme Fatales weekly broadcast will continue in its same form, every Thursday night at 8:00 Pm Eastern Standard Time on the TNT network. The program will still be one hour long. The tentative plan is to include one match from each Femme Fatales division per week, making it the typical three-match televised card. This will foster some real competition within the ranks of the divisions as to what match the respective Commissioner will feature on TV every week. I believe our televised product will be phenomenal each and every time out! Now, the question I’ve been getting is how the rosters for each division will be filled out. The NWA Board of Governors has graciously given the company a waiver from the sixty-five-member active roster limit and has upped it to ninety. So, each division will be allotted thirty active roster spots. The current Femme Fatales roster will be split up and dispersed among the three divisions and new signees will fill out the rest. The roster members for each division will be based on either the country of birth or country of residence, whichever they choose to acknowledge. All right, I’ve taken up enough of your valuable time. We have a program to get to and I’m going to let your GM take over!”
Perez: “Thank you, Mr. Richards! Okay fans, we have a fantastic episode lined up for you! So, let’s get to it! Madusa, Renee, Melissa, the floor is yours!”
Madusa: “Wow! What a day to be a women’s wrestling fan! This is unprecedented! We're expanding worldwide and some of my best friends in the business are going to be Commissioners! Okay, well welcome to Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa. With me are Renee Young and Melissa Santos! We have three big matches tonight! First off, Alexia Nicole will defend the Bantamweight Championship against the woman who shocked her last week, Himawari Unagi! Also, Xia Brookside will take on ‘Donna del Mondo’s’ Maika in what should be a battle! And, our main event will see ‘Killer Death Machines’ take on Jazzy Gabert and Vanessa Kraven in a heavyweight battle! Let's get it on!”
Match One ~ NWA: Femme Fatales Bantamweight Championship ~ Alexia Nicole vs. Himawari Unagi
This match followed a similar pattern as last week's with Unagi expertly concentrating on the compromised knee of the champion. Nicole clearly was not one hundred percent, but she willed her way into this match. The young challenger's skill belies her years in the sport. She is cunning and brutal when necessary. The champion was in danger throughout. However, she began to turn the tide toward the end, her fighting spirit shining through. Inexplicably, trainee Airi Mutoh (daughter of legend Keiji Mutoh) came walking out to the ring in a black leather outfit. She provided a distraction to the champion and the referee by stepping up onto the ring apron. While the referee was admonishing Mutoh to get off the ring apron, Nicole was berating her to get out of her match. Unagi seized the opportunity and hit a "Chop Block" onto the injured knee of the champion. She then locked in Keiji Mutoh's infamous "Muta Lock." Unagi wrenched back as Nicole screamed out in pain. Trapped in center ring with no way to escape, Alexia did the only thing she could do--she fought to break the hold. But, the beautiful Japanese talent had the hold cinched. She wasn't going anywhere. Even Nicole's powerfully built legs were not strong to break Unagi's grip because of the way she had positioned her body. Alexia continued to scream and struggle before fading and finally going limp. The referee checked Alexia three times, then promptly called for the bell.
Winner and NEW NWA: Femme Fatales Bantamweight Champion = Himawari Unagi by referee stoppage in 17:33
As soon as the bell had rung, Mutoh grabbed the Bantamweight Championship belt and jumped into the ring, congratulating the new champion. As Unagi scaled the ropes and showed off her new trophy, Airi grabbed a microphone and looked directly into the hard camera, slowly and deliberately saying the words, "This is for 'Keisan!'"
Madusa: "Wait a minute! 'Keisan?!' That's Keiji Mutoh and Tetsuya Naito's rogue group in NWA: CMLL that is trying to take over! Have they begun to branch out to us?! Is that why Airi Mutoh came to train here?!"
Renee Young: "It's hard to know just yet if this was all one big master plan, but 'Keisan' definitely appears to be a part of Femme Fatales!"
Melissa Santos: "We haven't seen Airi Mutoh in the ring officially, but it's been said that she is one of the standouts of the current crop of trainees! It makes sense. She has the sport in her blood! But, now, she's brought her father's ideology to this company! What does that mean for us?!"
Madusa: "Yeah, with the global talent exchange in place, the whole of 'Keisan' could show up here! Fans, we need to take a break. We'll be back with more action when we return!"
Madusa: "We're back! Fans, before we go to the ring for Maika and Xia Brookside in one-on-one action, let's chronicle this UK versus Japan feud that has become the inspiration for the worldwide expansion of NWA: Femme Fatales!"
A video package was shown featuring the conflict that began with Giulia's original attack on Toni Storm and morphed into a continental divide. The hatred that has developed between the two sides is palpable and the three divisions of Femme Fatales will only serve to make each country/continent work all the harder to prove its superiority.
Madusa: "Now that our appetites are sufficiently whet, let's get this singles match on!"
Match Two ~ Maika with Giulia, Himeka, & Utami vs. Xia Brookside with Candy Floss, Toni Storm, & "Vixen of Violence" Piper Niven
Xia went at Maika in her typical exuberant fashion. Maika is much larger and stronger than Xia, but the young Brit has always succeeded her her determination and toughness. Maika continued to assert her dominance in the strength department as the match wore on. Brookside kept coming for more, refusing to quit or back down. A fight broke out among the seconds that caused chaos outside the ring. The referee was trying to summon Security when Xia hit a "Springboard Reverse Crossbody Press" out of the corner that had Maika pinned for several seconds. The official was none the wiser and missed the count. Brookside got up and confronted the referee. This gave Maika valuable recovery time. She snuck up behind Xia and locked in a deep "Rear Naked Choke." Xia fought for several seconds. Then, Maika hoisted Xia off the mat and began to violently ragdoll her while maintaining the hold. Xia tapped out to end her suffering.
Winner = Maika by submission in 18:41
Madusa: "What an impressive feat of strength for Maika! That was a big tapout win over the game Xia Brookside!"
Young: "Xia showed heart and fight and had the match won, but the ref missed the pin!"
Santos: "That would have been an equally big win for Xia if the referee would have seen the pin attempt! She had her for several seconds! But, credit Maika for taking advantage of the situation and putting Xia away!"
Madusa: "That was resourceful! Okay folks, we're going to commercial. Our main event is up next when we return!"
Madusa: "Okay fans, we're back and it's time for the hosses to take the ring in a heavyweight tag team match!"
Match Three ~ "Killer Death Machines" ("Death Machine" Jessicka Havok & "Killer Queen" Nevaeh) with Max the Impaler vs. "Towers of Power" ("Alpha Female" Jazzy Gabert & Vanessa Kraven with "The Nightmare" Rhea Ripley and Maria Manic)
This was a battle of wits and will as much as it was a battle of size and strength. All four ladies took turns with handy-handed, clubbing blows to try and take one another down. It was a virtual stalemate throughout. Thwere was a surprise spot midway through the match when "Submission Magicians" came through the crowd and attacked Rhea and Maria, dragging them to the back. That happened without the four combatants realizing it. Otherwise, the action kept going back and forth. The only saving grace for Havok and Nevaeh was their years of friendship and competition as a team. That allowed them to take the final charge and bring home the win, dropping Kraven with a "Death Sentence" ("Top-Rope Lariat [Nevah]/"Sitout Powerbomb" [Havok] combination) after Gabert was taken out just before the finish.
Winners = "Killer Death Machines" by pinfall in 20:18
Madusa: "That was a heavyweight fight!"
Young: "'Killer Death Machines' got a huge win in a televised main event!"
Santos: "Havok and Nevaeh have made some bold claims! They were able to back them up tonight!"
Just then, GM Karlee Perez came out clapping. She had a microphone tucked under her arm.
Perez: "Congratulations to 'Killer Death Machines!' That was a very big win. I'm impressed. But, what you didn't realize is that it was an audition for the entire heavyweight division."
Havok and Nevaeh looked confused.
Perez: "You see, I've been thinking about expansion, obviously. But, our smallest and most neglected division has always been the heavyweights. The Bantamweights always get featured, as well they should. Sometimes, the Heavyweights take a back seat. The Bantamweight division has a singles and tag team championship. So, why not do the same for the Heavyweights? So, I am introducing the NWA: Femme Fatales Heavyweight Tag Team Championship! Just like the rest of our current championships, this one will be defended across all three divisions of NWA: Femme Fatales! We will crown our first champions with a tournament, to begin next week! Now, the qualifications for a heavyweight tag team are simple: either, both team members weigh at least one hundred forty-five pounds or sixty-six kilograms, or the team must have a combined weight of two hundred ninety pounds or one hundred thirty-two kilograms. I plan to have eight teams in this tournament. Both the teams represented in our main event are eligible, of course. So, good luck, ladies!"
Madusa: "Can this episode get any more historic?! A Heavyweight Tag Team Championship! And, the tourney starts next week! Wow! I can't believe we fit all we did in an hour, but here it is! We've come to the end of this broadcast. Please join us again next Thursday on TNT for more Femme Fatales! For Renee Young and Melissa Santos, I'm Madusa! Keep on rockin' and rollin'!"
The episode faded to black with havok and Nevaeh posing and claiming the Heavyweight Tag Team Championship for themselves.
Samantha Smart: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome NWA: Femme Fatales owner and CEO Jordan Richards.”
Jordan Richards came to the ring with a huge smile on his face.
