Since the rebirth of the NWA in 2015, one of its stalwart pay-per-views has remained true to form. Great American Bash has become the biggest event on the summer wrestling calendar. Having been in existence since 1985, this event always provided some fireworks. The fifth installment of this current incarnation of the NWA will be the most historic yet. Chicago, Illinois' famous Soldier Field will be the backdrop for this unprecedented event on Sunday, July 5th.

Two brand new World Champions will be crowned, along with a host of promotion-specific matches that are sure to keep fans on the edges of their seats. The current card is as follows:

HAWK Knights Code Championship/NWA Indy Unlimited MagniModi Championship/NWA Rocky Mountain Tag Team Championship ~ The Briscoes (Mark and Jay) (HAWK Knights Code Champion) Vs Bear Country (Bear Beefcake/Bear Bronson) Vs The Dawsons (Dave and Zane) (NWA IU MagniModi/NWA RM Tag Team Champion) w/Jake “The Snake” Roberts

Jay, Beefcake, and Dave started in the ring. All three men were quick to go for heavy and hard hits. Dave and Beefcake started to throw Jay around as he was the lighter man in the ring. But Jay showed her will not be their ragdoll hitting slams and suplexes on both men. Mark would work more with his speed against the other teams. Bronson the two wrestlers in the ring as tools driving Mark into Zane with Falcon Arrow. Bronson would also hit a sitout driver on Zane into Dave. It looked like Bear Country had the win after Beefcake, Carrying Bronson, hit a second rope Senton on Mark but Dave would break up the pin. Mark and Jay would try to dive on the Dawson's and Bear Country. This worked on Bear Country but Jake pulled Zane out of the way as Dave was dived on by Mark. This allowed Zane to hit a vicious Lariat. Back in the ring Zane drove Mark to the mat with a Sitout Spinebuster to get the three-count.

Winners and NEW HAWK Knights Code Champions = The Dawsons

Jake would enter the ring with all six belts. Dave would come in and be handed his three. All three men pose with the titles. Joe Anoa'i walks out carrying a metal briefcase. After he gets to the ring, he opens the briefcase revealing it is empty.

Jake: "I may not be able to declare these belts null and void."

He holds up the NWA: Indy Unlimited MagniModi titles.

Jake: "But, I can make sure these eyesores are not seen by the public."

He folds the titles and put them in the briefcase. Joe closes the briefcase, then Jake locks the case. Jake takes the case as Zane and Dave pose with the NWA: Rocky Mountain Tag Team Titles and the HAWK Knights Code Titles.

WILD All Out War Championship ~ Lion's Den Match ~ Ken Shamrock (c) vs Tom Lawlor

Tom wasted no time tackling Ken into the cage. From there the match looked far more MMA than it did in pro wrestling. Both men throwing punches fighting for submission holds. Both men were able to use the cage to get elevation on the submissions. Ken would work off the cage to hit a strike, plex, and slams after the submission battles. Tom would just toss Ken into the cage after a while. Unable to make Ken tap with a submission he pushed various body parts into the chain link of the cage making Ken bleed hard. Ken would snap after this and started to beat Tom around Cage forcing him into the cage before striking Tom. While Tom fought back and tried to Coquina Clutch and Ken low blowed him before rolling through and locking in an ankle lock. Tom would fight to get out of the hold but could not break the lock and would tap.

Winner and Still WILD All Out War Champion = Ken Shamrock

NWA: Indy Unlimited Tenkaichi Young Guns Championship ~ "The Nightmare" Rhea Ripley Vs Humberto Carrillo Vs Tyler Bate

Rhea was quick to show her power leveling both Tyler and Humberto with Lariats and Big Boots. Tyler and Humberto shared an alliance as they attacked Rhea together. They went with a series of kicks and strikes eventually sending her out of the ring with a set of dropkicks. Humberto would dive out on Rhea and was followed by Tyler who hit a Tope Suicida on both of them. Tyler would show off his power hitting the plexes on Rhea and Humberto. Humberto was quick to hit various springboard and slingshot moves that got him various two counts. Rhea would hit the Riptide on both men but the pinfall was constantly broken. Tyler was able to get a two count on Humberto after the Tyler Driver 97 before Rhea broke it up. Rhea would hit Tyler with the Riptide when Humberto dropkicked her in the back of the head. Humberto would hit the Arabian press on Tyler after hitting Rhea but she rebounded to break up the pin. Later Rhea would get punched by Tyler then Lariated out of the ring. Humberto would Superkick then hit a mooonsault on Tyler and get the three-count.

NWA: Indy Unlimited World Indyweight Championship ~ Keith Lee (c) Vs Joe Anoa'i w/Jake “The Snake” Roberts

This match started as a true hoss fight. Both men tried to lariat the other to the mat but both men stood tall. Lee and Joe threw each other around the ring shocking the crowd. Lee would try to use Joe's head on the turnbuckle but it had no effect. Joe would then headbutt Lee sending him to the mat. Outside the ring Jake applauded when Joe had the advantage. Keith started to use his speed to connect with kicks and strikes but Joe would catch and toss him. Lee would send him to the floor with a flurry of stirkes and dive onto him. Lee would try to shock Joe using the ropes for his attacks. This did throw Joe off his game but he was able to comeback and drop Lee with huge slams. The two men would fight up a turnbuckle allowing Joe to hit the Superplex on Lee. Joe was unable to make the cover in time. Lee would hit the Spirit Bomb on Joe but Joe was able to grab the ropes to break the pin. Lee and Joe would try to hit the Ground Zero and Tatau (The Long Yard) but each man was able to get out of the moves. Lee would try a running attack but was hit with a headbutt. As he stumbled Joe got behind him and dropped him with a Telefua (Psycho Driver III). Joe would cover for the three.

Before Joe is handed the title, Jake takes it. Joe tossed Keith out of the ring. Zane Dawson, Dave Dawson, and Chad Gable walk to the ring. Chad is carrying a metal briefcase. Jake gets in to the ring with a mic.

Jake: "Look at this thing. A crown and dragons? Are we twelve years old in the basement rolling dice? Chad open that case."

Chad opens the case. Jake puts the Indyweight title on the mat and pulls out.....

Joe puts the title on his shoulder. Jake then pics up the Indyweight title.

Jake: "Like those d*** tag titles, this does not need to see the light of day."

Jake puts the Indyweight Title in the case closes and locks the briefcase. He takes the briefcase.

All four men hold their titles high to a mixed reaction from the crowd as Jake applauds them.

"Worldwide Underground" defeated "Kings of Wrestling, Dragon Lee, & Mistico after Taya hit Lee with "Road to Valhalla" on the floor and rolled him back into the ring for Jack Evans to pin.

Andrade Almas retained his NWA: Ultimate Warzone Ultimate World Championship over Ilja Draganov after a "Hammerlock DDT." Ilja had been distracted by Zelina vega, who jumped onto the apron at a pivotal moment in the match.

Toni Storm retained the NWA: Femme Fatales Television Championship in an "Invitational Gauntlet" match against Mandy Rose, La Hiedra, Ember Moon, Jazz, Jayme Jameson, Sage Sin Supreme, Alexa Bliss, and Xia Li. She pinned all but Bliss and Sage, who both got disqualified in their "Gauntlet" legs.

"Donna del Mondo" then came out and Giulia answered Storm's challenge, but shrewdly demanded it take place right then and there and that the title be put on the line. Storm agreed. During the match, the referee got knocked down. Hikema debuted for "DDM," planting Storm with a "Running Powerbomb." Guilia then locked in "Stealth Viper." Once the referee roused and saw an unresponsive Storm, she rang the bell, giving Giulia the match and the title.

Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Seth Rollins by referee stoppage

CM Punk defeated Brock Lesnar to capture the NWA United States Championship in round 5 of an "MMA" match. Ric Flair chloroformed Lesnar while Punk had the referee distracted. Brock was out on his feet, which allowed Punk to hit "Go to Sleep" and get the full knockout.

"Riot Squad" captured the NWA World Women's Tag Team Championship, last eliminating "Golden Role Models." They dedicated the match to Sarah Rowe beforehand. Sarah just found out she is pregnant.

Adam Cole successfully defended the NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Championship against Bryan Danielson after "Last Shot."

"The Revival" defeated "Lucha Bros" 2 falls to 1 to retain the NWA World Tag team Championship. They lost fall one by countout after "Glorious Outlaws" caused a distraction that drew them out of the ring. They stormed back to win the final two falls in an overall match time of 40:08. This easily was the match of the night.

Brodie Lee captured the NWA World Television Championship, last eliminating WALTER, who had survived three other "Gauntlet" legs. Lee hit him with a "Yakuza Kick" followed by a "Discus Lariat" for the win after attacking before the bell had rung to begin the leg.

Chris Jericho successfully defended the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Samoa Joe with a "Codebreaker" and "Judas Effect" in succession. He held the tights for the pin.
