William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Guys, Spring Stampede was off the charts good!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Jerusalem, Israel was beutiful and so was the action! Momma Mia!"
Jim Cornette: "It was a great night overall, but 'The Revival' didn't quite get what they wanted!"
Regal: "It's true. The 'Title versus Title' match ended in a double disqualification as the referee could not control the action. I'm confident you'll see 'OI4K' again down the line."
Cornette: "I assure you of it!"
Regal: "Fans, NWA: Show Time was well represented at the big event! Adam Cole made history by defeating Cody Rhodes to claim the NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Championship, making him the first man ever to hold that and the World Heavyweight Titles in a career! Corngratulations to him! Also, Braun Strowman turned back the challenge of Ishii to retain the coveted Intercontinental Championship, and Kota Ibushi continued his impressive reign as our Cruiserweight Champion by outlasting four other men in what most consider the match of the night! We'll see Kota later on in the program! Also, Commissioner Sting has announced two big matches here tonight! 'War Machine' will battle 'Glorious Outlaws' and 'Gallus' in a match to determine the next contenders to challenge Jim's 'Revival' for the NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship! In our main event, Kevin Steen will challenge Killer Kross for the Mid-Atlantic Championship! Let's go to the ring with tag team action!"
Match One ~ "Triple Threat" match ~ "Glorious Outlaws" ("Glorious" Bobby Roode & "Outlaw" James Storm) With "Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Maryse Ouellet vs. "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) vs. "Gallus" (Joe & Mark Coffey)
This was a marathon of a match. None of the teams gave an inch or took a step backward. They fought until pure exhaustion. Every time we thought a pin was about to happen, someone would swoop in and break it up at the last possible second. Hanson and Rowe had been double-teamed out of the match. Roode and Storm then took over. They hit their "Glorious Ending" finisher ("Last Call Super Kick" into the "Glorious DDT") on Mark Coffey. As Roode went for the cover, Hanson came off the top with a huge "Legdrop." Bobby bounced and landed on his back right beside Coffey. Hanson made the cover and got the pin on both men as Rowe took out Roode and Joe.
Winners = "War Machine" by pinfall in 39:21
Regal: "What a match!"
Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?! Those six tore the house down!"
Cornette: "So, it's 'The Revival' against 'War Machine?!' Okay! Let's get it on!"
Regal: "Fans, we have to take a break. When we return, Junko Suzuki will talk to Kota Ibushi!"
Regal: "We're back! Fans, as we mentioned at the top of the hour, Kota Ibushi successfully defended the Cruiserweight Championship at Spring Stampede. He's one week shy of a year as champion. Our Japanese Correspondent Junko Suzuki sat down with him earlier today for a word and a very startling and interesting development took place. Let's take you to that interview."
The scene was an empty arena inside the NWA: Show Time ring.
Junko Suzuki: "I am here with NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion Kota Ibushi. Senshū no nichiyōbini taitoru bōei ga seikō shita koto o oiwai shimasu (Congratulations on your successful title defense this past Sunday)."
Kota Ibushi: "Dōmo arigatōgozaimashita. Takusan no subarashī raibaru ni chokumen shita nochi, watashi wa kono beruto o nigiru koto ga dekite kōundesu (Thank you very much. I am fortunate to be holding this belt after facing so many great competitors)."
Suzuki: "Ato 1-shūkan de, kono taitoru o 1-nenkan hoji shimasu (In one more week, you will have held this title for one year, a remarkable feat)."
Ibushi: "Hai. Watashi wa sono mairusutōn no tame ni isshōkenmei hataraite kimashita. Sore ga jitsugen suru no o tanoshiminishiteimasu. Kono kaisha no dare mo, kore made dono yōna taitoru demo sore o okonatte imasen. Watashi wa saisho ni kōeidesu (Yes. I have worked very hard for that milestone. I look forward to accomplishing it. No one in this company has done that with any title so far. I am honored to be the first)."
Suzuki: "Anata no mirai wa (What is the future for you)?"
Ibushi: "Yoi shitsumon (Good question)."
Before Ibushi could answer further, he was attacked from behind inexplicably by new signee Johnny Gargano, who dropped him with a "Lawn Dart" and then locked him in "Garga-No Escape." Johnny was yelling, "One year, huh?! That's 'cause you never faced me, Kota!"
Ibushi screamed out in pain and then went limp. Gargano released him, them rubbed the back of his head.
Gargano: "I think your interview is over, little lady."
Regal: "What a disturbing piece of footage. Johnny Gargano came out of nowhere and brutalized Kota Ibushi, but why? Perhaps we'll get some answers soon. For now, we must go back to the ring for our main event."
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ Killer Kross with "Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Kevin Steen
Both men came to the ring intently. They had a long stare down in center ring before even moving or touching. When it came time to lock up, Steen kept bailing out of the ring. He would walk around ringside and stall for approximately a minute at a time. This happened four times. When finally the two combatants did tie up, Steen immediately went flying to the mat (inexplicably; he wasn't thrown). Kross looked down at Steen confused, then a sly smile came over his vissage. He knelt down and covered Steen. The referee was flabbergasted, but slowly counted the three.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Killer Kross by pinfall in 5:43
Regal: "What just happened?!"
Ranallo: "It looked like Kevin Steen just took a dive for Killer Kross! But, why?!"
Cornette: "There's an old phrase backstage called, 'doing the favors,' but that was something like I've never seen!"
Kross and Bordeaux helped Steen to his feet, where they all shook hands and laughed. All three walked out of the ring together.
Regal: "Fans, we are left with many more questions than answers here tonight. Unfortunately, we're all out of time. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour, where we hope to get to the bottom of this strange occurrence! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
As the episode was going off the air, the trio was at the entrance stage. The camera panned in close to Steen, who looked directly at the cameraman, performed the praying hands gesture, then uttered the words, "It's divine intervention!"
