Kevin Owens mentions that if the show had been in the stadium he would've ended up diving from a pirate ship that was to be built for the set, since they couldn't use it at the PC he improvised & used the Mania sign instead
Goldberg winning the Universal title in Saudi Arabia was a last minute decision. Goldberg lobbied for the change since he sees his character as a superhero and thought losing to a monster like The Fiend would hurt his image with younger fans
The reason WWE opted to have Braun win the title on Saturday night is because Goldberg’s final WWE appearance and match of 2020 was set to be at Wrestlemania, and the Hall of Famer had no intention of adding more dates to his current deal."
The original plan was for Goldberg to put over Roman Reigns. Once Reigns pulled out of the match, Jeff Hardy was reportedly considered as the replacement but the company ultimately went with Strowman.
Michael Hayes was in charge of production for The Boneyard Match with Triple H & Jeremy Borash also helping
Filming took place in Florida, but not “anywhere near the Performance Center” in Orlando.
WWE contracted an outside production company to build a graveyard set for a promo, but Haitch and Hayes were so impressed by the work they hired them to build out everything we saw during the match.
The set took five days to build.
It was an eight hour shoot, done from 9 p.m. Eastern on Weds., Mar. 25 until 5 a.m. Eastern on Thurs., Mar. 26.
Clean-up after filming took an entire week
all the dialogue was improvised
Undertaker was not supposed to cut his arm when he smashed the hearse window. Even the glass breaking only happened because he wanted to try re-shooting that moment from a different angle. The producers debated editing it out, but ended up running with and liking what it added.
Hunter & Hayes found a fake hand prop on the set and wanted to use it, but didn’t have an idea for it. Taker is the one who suggested using it after he buried AJ, as a callback to his Buried Alive match with Mankind at 1996’s In Your House XI
The expectation is the next time we see Undertaker he will be working the new variation of The American Badass character we saw in the Boneyard match
WWE believes Charlotte Flair is a babyface and that’s why she went over at WrestleMania XXXVI
Charlotte is hoping to defend the belt across Raw, Smackdown & NXT
Edge revealed on Corey Graves After the Bell podcast that his Last Man Standing Match against Randy Orton was originally going to be very different & included the use of drones & fighting across rooftops
Bray Wyatt & Bruce Prichard were the producers for the Firefly Fun House Match with input from John Cena
For people confused on what it was exactly trying to do then here it is in the most simplified form possible:
The story was simple but very complex. Cena said that he should have ended the most overrated, least talented, worthless wrestler 6 years ago. And Cena came to the realization at the end of that segment that he was talking about himself (which is was John's own idea to tie everything back to the promo and that he had been talking about himself). And Wyatt took him on the journey of his career past to help him come to that revelation. It was such deep storytelling that ended with the soundbite of Cena and his realization that maybe he is a talentless wrestler who had everything handed to him on a silver platter. What is more is Wyatt painted Cena that even though he was "The babyface". In reality was the heel in real life
And the Fiend did exactly what Cena wanted. The Fiend ended him
The nWo was just the Fiend saying that Cena much like Hulk always refused to turn heel, if he had went down that route he could have had a career resurgence much like Hollywood Hogan did for Hulk

The Big Show/Drew McIntyre stuff was WWE wanting to present Drew as strong as possible by beating Brock then coming back out & defeating Show 20 minutes after besting Brock
