William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, tonight we find out which match will represent NWA: Show Time at Spring Stampede, which happens in five days on Easter Sunday in the holy land!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Yes! NWA: Show Time will have plenty of representation at the big event, but we haven't heard what our promotion-specific match will be yet! I'm on pins and needles!"
Jim Cornette: "Speaking of waiting, 'The Revival' is still waiting to hear from those cowards 'OI4K!' Let's see if you have any stones, boys! Accept the challenge! Title for title!"
Regal: "We hope to get an answer from 'OI4K' in the hour. They are here and will defend the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship against the Usos in our main event! We know that Commissioner Sting will be here to announce our representative Spring Stampede match as well. Also on the program, Chris Jericho asked for a tune-up match and will get it when he faces 'Universal Soldier' Gunner in a precursor to his World Championship match with Brian Cage! That match is up first! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ Chris Jericho with "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, AJ Lee, & Maryse Ouellet vs. "Universal Soldier" Gunner with Whiplash
There are few who can match the strength and explosiveness of Brian Cage. Gunner is one of those. His intensity is off the charts. He really took it to Jericho in the early going. Whiplash ran interference on the outside to counteract Flair and the other valets. This ploy worked for a while. Then, the rest of "The Four Horsemen" came strutting to the ring. They caused a great distraction that allowed Jericho to capitalize. Then, "Forgotten Sons" came to the ring and more than evened the odds. It was a standoff outside the ring. Finally, tensions became too great and an all-out war ensued. In the midst of the chaos, Gunner hit his "PTSD" on Jericho and had him down for the count. The referee was otherwise engaged trying to break up the fight outside the ring. Meanwhile, Maryse snuck into the ring and blinded Gunner with her hairspray. Whiplash came in and gave chase. But, this event allowed Jericho to recover and hit an unsuspecting Gunner with his "Judas Effect ("Roaring Back Elbow Smash")" for the pin.
Winner = Chris Jericho by pinfall in 15:43
After the match, Jericho rolled out of the ring and he celebrated with his mates. "Forgotten Sons" turned their attention to Gunner, who pled his case with the referee concerning Maryse's scandalous ways.
Regal: "Once again, that dreaded can of hairspray has reared its ugly head!"
Ranallo: "Gunner didn't need a makeover, but he got one by Maryse, who picked her spot!"
Cornette: "This is exactly why I say these Jezabel's don't need to be at ringside!"
Regal: "Nevertheless, a big victory on the way to the biggest match of Chris Jericho's NWA career this Sunday. Can Chris Jericho win the World Championship? We'll know in five days! Fans, we need to take a commerical break. Our big main event and the announcement by Commissioner Sting is still to come!"
Regal: "We're back! Our correspondent Cathy Kelley caught up with Commissioner Sting earlier today in his offices. She spoke with him about the NWA: Show Time representative match at Spring Stampede. Let's see what he had to say."
Cathy Kelley: "Commissioner, thank you for allowing me this time."
Sting: "Always a pleasure, Cathy."
Kelley: "We are waiting anxiously to hear from you as to what match will represent NWA: Show Time at this Sunday's Spring Stampede pay-per-view in Jerusalem, Israel."
Sting: "This Sunday is Easter, as you know. It's the most important holiday of the Christian faith. It celebrates a resurrection. And, what better place to be than where it happened, Jerusalem? I've thought long and hard about what type of match should take place there. The longest reigning champion of any kind in the history of this company is Kota Ibushi, who is approaching one year as Cruiserweight Champion. That needs to be celebrated. That's why he will be defending his title at the event. But, to add to the resurrection theme I mentioned earlier, I've decided that he will defend against all former champions, who are being resurrected to challenge for that title once again. So, Kota will face Ricochet, Zack Sabre, Jr., Pete Dunne, and Adrian Neville. And, just to make it a little more fair for the champion, it'll be an 'Elimination' match."
Kelley: Wow! A 'Five-Way Elimination' match for the Cruiserweight Championship?! And, look at the list of competitors! It's a who's who of some of the best cruiserwight talent in the world! Commissioner, that announcement was well worth the wait! Thank you for your time!"
Sting: "Absolutely."
Kelley: "William, back to you."
Regal: "That match has the potential to be a show stealer! What a collection of talent! Okay fans, that leads us into our main event, where the Usos will challenge 'OI4K' for the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship! But, we still haven't heard from them concerning the World Tag Team Title versus United States Tag Team Title challenge that was issued by 'The Revival' last week! Vanessa Craft is with the champions now. Let's see if she can get an answer out of them."
Vanessa Craft: "I am here with members of 'OI4K.' Solomon (Crowe), your group is about to defend the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship against Jimmy and Jey Uso, which is a huge challenge, to say the least. But, 'The Revival' made an even bigger challenge last week, title versus title. We're still awaiting your response."
Solomon Crowe: "Vanessa, we are focused on the task at hand. 'The Revival' is going to have to sit and wait. better yet, why don't they and their loudmouth manager hop a plane and fly to Israel and see if we show up too! Come on, we have a match! Let's go!"
Regal: "Well then, they seemed to have dodged you once again, Jim."
Cornette: "And I'm the loudmouth?! That carny outlaw mudshow wannabe Solomon Crowe blows out more hot air than a zeplin! They're cowards! If they're not going to give us an answer, maybe we'll have to take one! Excuse me for a minute while I make a call!"
Regal: "Okay. Let's go to the ring for our main event!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship ~ "OI4K" (Solomon Crowe & Madman Fulton with "Death Machine" Jessicka Havok, "Killer Queen" Neveah, Crimson, Matt Cross, and Jon Moxley) vs. Jimmy & Jey Uso with Jacob Fatu, Sefa Fatu, & Trinity Uso
"OI4K" dominated portions of this match due to the numbers game. "Samoan Dynasty" did what it could, but the odds were against them. Every time it seemed like the Usos would gain an advantage, they were thwarted by some kind of distraction and interference. After quite some time, it became apparent that the champions would retain based on this sequence of events. But, things changed at the end. When it looked like "OI4K" had it in the bag, "The Revival's" music hit and they stepped out onto the entrance wearing the NWA World Tag Team Championship. They walked over to the announce booth and picked up the US Tag Team Titles. This got every member of "OI4K" focused directly on Dash and Dawson. In the meantime, the Usos readied themselves. Fulton and Crowe both ate "Double Super Kicks." This was followed up with a "Superfly Leap" onto Crowe by Jimmy. Jey, "Samoan Dynasty," and "The Revival" all kept the outside parties at bay while Jimmy made the pin.
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions = the Usos by pinfall in 28:39
Regal: "We have new champions! The Usos have done it!"
Ranallo: "What a distraction by your guys, Jim!"
Cornette: "I told you! If they weren't going to answer us on their own, we'd take matters into our own hands!"
Solomon Crowe clutched his abdomen and grabbed a microphone.
Crowe: "Hey punks! Dash and Dawson! You want it?! You got it! Title for title on Sunday!"
"The Revival" Got big smiles on their faces and walked away.
Regal: "It's official! World Titles versus US Titles this Sunday! Fans, Spring Stampede is going to be a phenomenal event! Please order that pay-per-view now! And please, join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour, where we're sure to have all of the fallout from Spring Stampede! For Muaro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
