William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, Spring Stampede inches ever so closer and the action around here is gearing up for it!"
Mauro Ranallo: "You said it, William! If it were any hotter in the ring, we'd be in the Sahara Desert! As we saw last week, Jim's charges Dash and Dawson were jumped by 'OI4K' after their successful Tag Team Title defense!"
Jim Cornette: "Yeah, and those punks have a receipt coming! In fact, Dash and Dawson have a little challenge to lay out!"
Regal: "Indeed. We'll hear from 'The Revival' later on. Inside the ring, we have a big episode shceduled! 'The Four Horsemen' will be in six-man action against 'British Strong Style!' 'Undisputed Era' defends the Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship in what should be a battle with Matt Riddle and Chad Gable! And, in our main event, WALTER defends the Television Championship against Claudio Castagnoli! This should be a dandy of a program!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship ~ "Undisputed Era" (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish with Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, & Dr. Britt Baker, DMD) vs. "King of Bros" Matt Riddle & Chad Gable
There couldn't have been a better way to begin the episode. These four fought like their lives depended on it. Gable was his "Suplexing" best as he hit multiple "Rolling Germans" against both O'Reilly and Fish. Riddle had no shortage of "Suplexes" himself, tossing his opponents to and fro. The champions had their share of offense, keying in on Gable. Chad remained strong and fought them off valiantly before finally getting the tag in to Riddle. Matt came in a house of fire. He actually trapped Kyle in the "Bromission" and had him tapping out, but Cole distracted the referee long enough for Britt to dig her fingernails into Matt's eyes for the break. Gable took out Fish on the floor, but incapacitated himself in the process. Roderick Strong gave another referee distraction while Cole hit a "Super Kick" on Riddle. O'Reilly then hit a "Jumping Knee Strike" to Riddle's temple for the pin.
Winners and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions = "Undisputed Era" by pinfall in 18:18
Regal: "A tainted victory by the champions in an otherwise fantastic match!"
Ranallo: "Fish and O'Reilly are nearly unbeatable by themselves, but when they have the entourage behind them, it seals the deal!"
Cornette: "Like them or not, 'Undisputed Era' knows gang warfare and they've perfected it!"
Regal: "Let's take a quick break. We'll be back with six-man tag team action next!"
Regal: "We're back! Vanessa Craft is backstage with 'The Four Horsemen.' Let's see what they have to say about their upcoming match against the World Six-Man Tag Team Champions."
Vanessa Craft: "I am here with Ric Flair, Maryse Ouellet, and 'The Four Horsemen.' CM Punk, Bobby Roode, and James Storm have a huge match in moments against 'British Strong Style,' the current NWA World Six-Man Tag Team Champions. If you defeat them, you have to believe it puts you in contention for a title match."
Ric Flair: "If we defeat them? Vanessa, get it straight sweetheart! Woooo! It's when we defeat them!"
Chris Jericho: "Pretty soon, all you're going to see around us is gold. I'll be the World Heavyweight Sham-peon, and these guys all will have title belts around their waists. It might just be those Six-Man Titles. But, watch and see. It's coming."
CM Punk: "I'll admit, 'British Strong Style' is a good trio in their own right. But, they're not 'Horsemen.' We are an elite collection of athletes, the best in the world! They don't stand a chance against us!"
Bobby Roode: "And, when we leave them laying, it will be absolutely, glorious!"
James Storm: "'British Strong Style,' I hate to break it to you, boys. We're about to humble you. Sorry about your d*** luck."
Craft: "William, back to you."
Regal: "Well then. 'The Four Horsemen' are brimming with confidence. Let's see if they've taken 'British Strong Style' lightly or not."
Match Two ~ "The Four Horsemen" (CM Punk and "Glorious Outlaws" {"Glorious" Bobby Roode & "Outlaw" James Storm}) with Chris Jericho, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, and Maryse Ouellet vs. "British Strong Style" ("Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne, Trent Seven, & Tyler Bate) with Joanna Rose
The World Six-Man Tag Team Champions didn't take kindly to being called out in the manner they were. They took the fight straight to Punk and company. Eventually, the veterans took over the match and slowed the pace down. They methodically worked over Seven's shoulder. At the end, the match had broken down over a disputed tag. All six men were in the ring. Dunne and Bate took out Roode and Storm. Seven readied for his "Seven Star Lariat" on Punk. Flair was arguing with the referee. Maryse took the opportunity to hit Trent in the eyes with a shot of what looked like hairspray. Joanna Rose tried to stop her, but it was too late. Trent stumbled into center ring, where he fell victim to "Go to Sleep."
Winners = "The Four Horsemen" by pinfall in 20:40
Regal: "That's another match that ended after outside interference!"
Ranallo: "It was a sullied win, but a huge one for Ric Flair's camp!"
Cornette: "I have plenty of experience battling 'The Horsemen!' Those guys made bending the rules an art form!"
Regal: "We'll take another break. When we return, it's our highly anticipated main event between WALTER and Claudio Castagnoli!"
Regal: "We're back! Before we go to the main event, we have some pre-taped words from Jim Cornette's charges, 'The Revival.'"
Scott Dawson: "Last week, we were doing what we always do, being the best tag team on this planet. And, what happens? 'Oi4K' decides to stick their noses in our business. Well boys, that don't fly with us!"
Dash Wilder: "Not a chance! So, you want to jump us?! Well, how about stepping up eye-to-eye? How about putting your money where your mouth is? We challenge you to a 'Title versus Title' match at Spring Stampede. Your US Titles against our World Titles, winner takes all!"
Dawson: "What do you say, boys? You got the marbles for that?"
Regal: "Wow! A 'Title versus Title' challenge laid out by 'The Revival!' We'll see if 'OI4K' steps up to the plate, Jim! It's now time for the main event! The Television Championshp is on the line in what should be an instant classic!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ "Ring General" WALTER vs. Claudio Castagnoli
This was an epic stalemate. Both men showed their toughness in a chop battle. They showed their strength in various sequences, most notably when Castagnoli executed a twenty-rotation "Giant Swing" on the champion. It was everything fans expected and insiders hoped for when these two clashed. Castagnoli hit the "Neutralizer," but WALTER kicked out. In the end, it took a huge "Powerbomb" and "Superfly Leap" from WALTER to get the job done.
