I go too Much time on my hands so here we go:
Positives and Negatives of Wrestlemania 2020 card to this point. Yes this takes the no fans in as thought.
Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Drew McIntyre (WWE championship)
Pros: Drew won RR, finally getting the push he should have had the day he came to the main roster. There is a damn good chance he walks away with the title. Should Brock feel the flow this could be an amazing power house match up possibly the best we have seen in years.
Cons: There is no crowd and Vince has been showing he is a Honey Badger, 20 points if you got that. He could easily just let Brock retain and hold off on Drew's "Coronation" till a later date. What reason does Brock have to give any kind of effort here? No crowd and he is already getting paid so what does he care. Finally this is not the "Main Event" of Night 2. Much like last year the "True Main Event isn't going on last. Last year Kofi was the "True Main Event" this year it is Drew and Brock. The Story on this is the strongest, in the men's, and has the best build but is not the last match.
Goldberg (c) vs. Roman Reigns (Universal championship)
Pros: This is hard.......yes that is what she said. Goldberg leaves till the next Saudi show? No Live crowd so you can't boo Roman.
Cons: Oh where to begin? Goldberg didn't need this title. No one asked for this match and no one wanted it. I got no problem with Roman getting his crown, again, at Mania but this match did not need to happen. The Build has been shit and pointless. Where Brock and Drew could be the great powerhouse match this has no hop but to be a three move wonder versus a guy that is still trying to get over after nearly four or five years. Just like with Drew and Brock Vince could just let Goldberg keep it and have someone else take it later.
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Shayna Baszler (Raw women’s championship)
Pros: This Promises to be a good match. The build has been acceptable in places but overdone. You can feel the hate on them. This could be the end of Becky's reign and the kick in the pants to give her character life again.
Cons: Like with the previous two Vince could have Becky win and her character takes a sharp decline and she is now pointless. Where do you go after this? Shayna is champ and has plowed through the RAW Roster. Does she challenge Becky again? Does she feud with Charlotte? If Becky wins then what?
Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair (NXT women’s championship)
Pros: Good match, the styles are different and this match has not happened a million times so it is fresh. NXT Women's division is more firmly on the map, should Rhea win and they get a boost.
Cons: Charlotte could win and most of my Pros are out the door. Charlotte loses and what does that do for her character or the Women's Rumble victor losing twice in three manias?
Bayley (c) vs. Lacey Evans vs. Dana Brooke vs. Tamina Snuka vs. Naomi vs. Sasha Banks (SmackDown women’s championship)
Pros: Again good match. We are bound to see Sasha and Bayley at odds if not full turns. The other four will put forth valiant efforts as well.
Cons: This did not need to be a six pack challenge. Yeah they are saying Sasha Vs Bayley would have been made to quick but Mania can start feuds not just finish them. It was just thrown together with out much rhyme or reason.
The Street Profits (c) vs. Andrade & Angel Garza (Raw tag team championship)
Pros: Great match.
Cons: This match does not need to happen. These teams have little to no interaction and it makes no sense. They could hot potato this title.
John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
Pros: Its being treated like a movie and could resemble Final Deletion. This could get the Fiend back on track.
Cons: This is being treated like a movie and can resemble House of Horrors. Vince could have the wrong man win and the Fiend downward spirals hard.
Edge vs. Randy Orton (Last Man Standing)
Pros: Everthing!
Cons: No fans for the Match but that is Minor.
Undertaker vs. AJ Styles (Boneyard Match)
Pros: It's AJ Vs Undertaker.
Cons: Its a Boneyard Match....Should have just been a simple casket match. The booking has been horrible and the match promises to be over booked.
Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins
Pros: They finally can go one on one. Match should be great.
Cons: Owens has lost this feud multiple times already. The point of this match is lacking. What happens after this?
Aleister Black vs. Bobby Lashley
Pros: Its a match. Rusev may run in. Black is almost assured to win at WM.
Cons: Its a pointless match. If Bobby wins Black gets Cerdriced/Ricocheted.
Overall
Pros: Good matches across the board. Great out comes are possible.
Cons: Doesn't feel like Mania. The build has been great on like four matches, and lack luster on the rest. Too many possibilities for bad outcomes just to make them at later times which will bring down the whole event. Too many matches for the sake of matches. This card could be trimmed in so many places it is not even funny.
It feels more like a RAW/Smackdown anniversary show than a Wrestlemania.
