William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm, your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Gents, we're only a couple of weeks away from the granddaddy of them all, Starrcade!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Yes sir, William! And, NWA: Show Time will figure prominently in that one! Our founder and owner, the long-retired Jordan Richards, will strap them on one more time against CM Punk in a 'No Holds Barred Streetfight' to determine who the CEO and majority owner of this company is, and we may see the demise of 'The Magnificent Seven' to boot!"
Jim Cornette: "I don't like Jordan Richards' chances against Punk in a regular match, but in a 'Streefight,' all bets are off!"
Regal: "Jim, I wanted to ask you about this recent Twitter war that's erupted between 'The Revival' and the NWA World Tag Team Champions 'The Young Bucks.'"
Cornette: "I'm glad you pondered, Billy boy! Those disrespectful, wannabe indy spot monkeys have no business in the sport I love, much less putting 'The Revival's' names in their mouths! If they're even remotely any kind of men, they'll step up to the plate! My guys will deliver a couple of knuckle sandwiches right to their blow holes!"
Regal: "Enough said. We'll see if the challenge you guys laid out for the World Titles goes answered. All right fans, we have a great episode tonight! Two more first round matches in the Mixed Tag Team Championship tournament will go down! Jimmy and Trinity Uso will take on Bobby Roode and Maryse Ouellet! Nick Aldis and Kamille will do battle with Marty Scurll and Deonna Purrazzo! And, our main event will see Alexa Bliss defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship against the challenge of Ricochet! It should be a fantastic hour! Let's get it started!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Mixed Tag Team Championship Tournament ~ "Glorious" Bobby Roode & Maryse Ouellet vs. Jimmy & Trinity Uso
The men had a back-and-forth struggle throughout the contest. However, trinity owned Maryse, whose time in the ring has been limited in recent years. Ultimately, Trinity's "Rear View" did Maryse in.
Winners = Jimmy & Trinity Uso by pinfall in 12:19
Regal: "That was the first time we've seen Trinity Uso in the ring! She was impressive against Maryse!"
Ranallo: "Maryse didn't know what hit her!"
Cornette: "All I can say is that Maryse didn't like Trinity's rear view, if you know what I mean!"
Regal: "Indeed! Fans, we'll take a break. We'll be back with more tournament action next!"
Regal: "We're back! Let's go to Vanessa Craft, who's standing by with Mid-Atlantic Champion Alexa Bliss!"
Vanessa Craft: "I'm here with 'The Goddess' Alexa Bliss, who is set to defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship against the challenge of a former champion in his own right, Ricochet. Alexa, how do you prepare for such a versatile competitor?"
Alexa Bliss: "What are you saying, Vanessa?! That Ricochet is versatile and I'm not?!"
Craft: "No. I wasn't saying that at all."
Bliss: "Shut up! All you or anyone else needs to know is this. I am a phenomenal athlete and I've earned two different men's championships in this company. Ricochet may think he has the upper hand because he's a man. But, I will beat him and prove I am the greatest Mid-Atlantic Champion this company has ever seen!"
Regal: "Whoa! Alexa did not like Vanessa Craft's line of questioning. Okay fans, we're back with another first round match-up in the Mixed Tag Team Title tournament! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mixed Tag Team Championship Tournament ~ "Virtuosa Villains" ("The Villain" Marty Scurll & "Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo) vs. "National Treasure" Nick Aldis & Kamille
This was a more competitive match all the way around. The men were evenly matched, old friends turned rivals for this one. The women fought to a stalemate as well. Kamille, known as more of a bodyguard or enforcer, showed her chops against the submission specialist Purrazzo. Scurll tweaked his back during the match and that became his undoing, with Aldis locking in the "Queensland Cloverleaf" in center ring. Kamille intercepted Deonna and kept her at bay while Scurrl writhed in pain. He had no choice but to tap out eventually.
Winners = Nick Aldis & Kamille by submission in 16:33
Regal: "Another great tournament match and an impressive showing for the new partnership of Aldis and Kamille!"
Ranallo: "The insurance policy paid dividends by keeping Deonna Purrazzo from breaking up the 'Queensland Cloverleaf!'"
Cornette: "Nick Aldis and Kamille have become a formidable pair very quickly!"
Regal: "We' have to take another break. But, the main event is next! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back and it's title match time! Alexa defends against Ricochet next!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ "The Goddess" Alexa Bliss with "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman vs. "The One & Only" Ricochet
Once the participants were in the ring, Co-Commissioner Sting came out and added the stipulation that no one from "The Magnificent Seven" could be present at ringside for the match and promptly banished Braun. Strowman stomped away angrily, promising Sting, "You'll be sorry" as Alexa voiced her displeasure inside the ring. Ricochet smiled, knowing that he'd have a fair chance at the title now. He took the action to Bliss, using various "Armdrags" and other athletic takedowns. Bliss caught Ricochet with a low blow while the referee's attention was diverted to gain the advantage, which she held for a few minutes. Ricochet came back and had the match won until the appearance of Chris Jericho, who shoved Ricochet off the top rope to the canvas behind the referee's back while Alexa tugged on his (referee Charles Robinson) shirt. Alexa then took the opportunity to scale the ropes quickly and hit "Twisted Bliss" for the pin, as Ricochet kicked out just after the three-count was rendered.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Alexa Bliss by pinfall in 17:08
Regal: "Once again, Alexa Bliss retains the title through trickery!"
Ranallo: "Alexa Bliss has yet to win a clean fall as champion!"
Cornette: "That is a devious woman who makes sure all her bases are covered every time she steps into the ring!"
Regal: "Fans, that's going to do it for this week. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour, as we inch ever closer to Starrcade! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
The episode ended as Alexa Bliss celebrated up the ramp. The scene then cut quickly to the back, where Adam Cole was being attacked backstage by "The Fiend." Cole was being taken out by the "Mandible Claw" as "The Fiend" laughed uncontrollably. The scene then faded to black.
