William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Last week, we saw the end of an era as the one true staple of this company, 'The Richards Collective,' was forced to disband after our main event!"
Mauro Ranallo: "I still can't believe what we saw! 'The Magnificent Seven' cheated its way to the win and now 'The Richards Collective' is no more!"
Jim Cornette: "But, on the bright side, 'The Revival' yet again proved they're the best tag team on the planet by capturing the Tag Team Championship for the second time in three weeks!"
Regal: "Yes Jim, and we know you have to be ecstatic about that!"
Cornette: "I'm proud of my guys! They've had a rough year and they've been jobbed out of those belts on several occasions, but last week was sweet vindication!"
"The Magnificent Seven" made its triumphant entrance with Co-Commissioner Ric Flair en tow.
CM Punk: "Well, well, well. Look who still gets to come out here as an intact group. 'The Magnificent Seven' did what we said we were gonna do! We won and 'The Richards Collective' is no more! They stacked the deck against us, made Matt Riddle and I wrestle twice, stole the Tag Team Championship from us, and we still come out smelling like a rose!"
Jordan Richards made his way to ringside.
Punk: "Oh hello, Mr. Richards. Did you come to congratulate us?"
Jordan Richards: "Not exactly, Phil. Now, we all saw what went down last week. Bobby Roode was pinned one-two-three in the middle of the ring. We also saw that he was clocked with a foreign object, but that's not why I'm out here."
Punk: "Then, what is it?! Say what you gotta say and leave so we can celebrate!"
Richards: "Well, that's just it. I don't think there's going to be a celebration quite yet. Why don't I bring out our esteemed Co-Commissioner to explain."
Sting: "After reviewing the footage from last week, one thing the referee missed has become glaringly obvious. And no, I'm not talking about the foreign object either. What was missed is a small thing, but it changes the entire complexion of the match. You see, Bobby Roode was pinned, but he was not the legal man in the match. Therefore, the pinfall counted against him is null and void. We've already spoken to the referee in question. He reviewed the footage himself and concurs. So, last week's result has been thrown and the match has been declared a no contest."
Punk: "What?! You can't do that!"
Sting: "Oh, we can't? I believe that's the very same defense you and Matt Riddle used to retain the Tag Team Titles a few weeks back."
Punk: "That was different!"
Sting: "The only difference is that the shoe is on the other foot."
Ric Flair stepped nose-to-nose with Sting.
Sting: "Ric, you and I have been around the world against each other. Think it through. Do you really want to step up to me?!"
Flair backed off.
Richards: "The bottom line is that both of these stables are still active. But, that gives us no solution to our problem. Every week, this program is consumed by one ongoing saga: 'The Magnificent Seven' versus 'The Richards Collective.' Clearly, this company cannot survive the both of us remaining. So, something has to be done. You're not going to leave us alone and we're not going to leave you alone. So, I am proposing one final match at the NWA"s annual Halloween Havoc pay-per-view between the two groups, winner-takes-all. The losing team disbands no matter what. But, to ensure that there is no controversy, I propose that we make it no disqualification, no time limit, and here's the kicker, a 'Last man Standing' match. The last man left standing at the end of the night wins the match for his team, period! And I did say men, no women involved this time. What do you say, Phil?"
Punk: "Not a chance! I smell a rat!"
Richards: "Nonsense! This is legitimate. I've already drawn up the contracts. I'll even throw in a little added incentive for you. Since there are six men in 'The Richards Collective' and only five in 'The Magnificent Seven,' I'll allow you to choose any man you want to add to your team to even things out. James Storm had to sit out last week and he wants to join in on the fun! Come on, Punk! You can have your pick of anyone! Take one of your boys from 'OI4K' Like Madman Fulton or Jon Moxley! Take Mikael Judas, Jason Justice, whoever! The choice is yours!"
Punk: "And, when we beat you, 'The Richards Collective' will disband?! No one's going to come up a week later with some loophole to keep your boys afloat?!"
Richards: "The referee's decision will be final, no matter what."
Punk: "Fine! You're on!"
The crowd erupted at the proposition of one final match between the two teams.
Regal: "What an announcement! A 'Last Man Standing' match at Halloween Havoc! And, 'The Magnificent Seven' can choose any man they want to add to their team against 'The Richards Collective!' Something has to give in less than a month! Fans, we actually have some wrestling to get to here tonight! 'The Insurgence' seems to have completely imploded, as Kevin Steen will face off with his former best friend and tag team partner Claudio Castagnoli! We have a 'Three-Way Dance' for the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship that will pit 'War Machine' against 'Sons of Steel' and 'OI4K!' And, in the main event, Ricochet will battle Pete Dunne for the right to challenge Cruiserweight Champion Kota Ibushi! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ Kevin Steen vs. Claudio Castagnoli
Winner = Kevin Steen by pinfall in 18:15
Regal: "Kevin Steen proved himself in a great showing against Claudio Castagnoli!"
Ranallo: "Steen taught his old partner a lesson this time around!"
Cornette: "I'll admit these two can wrestle as good as anyone on the planet! They just don't always make great decisions."
Regal: "Perhaps not. Fans, let's take a break. When we return, the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship will be up for grabs!"
Regal: "We're back! Vanessa Craft has cornered CEO CM Punk and has a question for him. Let's take you backstage now!"
Vanessa Craft: "I'm here with CM Punk. Have you given any thought as to whom you will choose as your partner for the 'Last Man Standing' match at Halloween Havoc?"
Punk: "Not only have I thought about it, the decision has been made!"
Craft: "Care to tell us all who that might be?"
Punk: "You'll all know when you need to know. I refuse to tip my hand to Jordan Richards. Run along now, Vanessa."
Regal: "Well then. CM Punk says he's already made his choice. Now, the entire wrestling world will speculate as to whom he has chosen! All right, let's shift gears! It's time for what promises to be a dynamite 'Three-Way Dance' for the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship! Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship ~ "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) vs. "Sons of Steel" (Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony) vs. "OI4K" (Solomon Crowe & Jon Moxley with "Death Machine" Jessicka Havok)
This was a veritable smorgasbord of violence throughout. All three teams were bent on destroying each other, with "OI4K" taking the brunt of the offense from both teams looking for retribution for the sneak attack a couple of weeks prior. In the end, "War Machine" hit "Fallout" on Moxley, who was out. The referee's attention had been diverted by Havok while Crowe laid out Hanson with his baseball bat. Madman Fulton ran in and nailed a "Chokebomb" on Rowe. Payne and Anthony were taken out by the Crist brothers. The referee turned around to see a lifeless Moxley covering a lifeless Rowe.
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions = "OI4K" by pinfall in 11:04
Regal: "That was a travesty!"
Ranallo: "A miscarriage of justice!"
Cornette: "That was the M.O. of 'OI4K!' Like it or not, they get away with murder because they're on CM Punk's payroll!"
regal: We need to take another break. The main event will be up next!"
Regal: "We're back and ready for action! This match might be one of the best we've ever seen on the program! It has instant classic written all over it!"
Match Three ~ "The One & Only" Ricochet with Eve Torres vs. "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne with Joanna Rose
Winner = no contest in 26:50 ("OI4K" interfered and attacked both men before a fall could be reached)
Regal: "'OI4K' has ruined yet another main event match! This has got to stop!"
Ranallo: "Did they have marching orders from CM Punk or are they just trying to ensue chaos and anarchy?!"
Cornette: "Both! I guarantee it!"
Suddenly, the lights went out. When they came back up, all the members of "OI4K" were strewn in the ring. Ricochet and Dunne were nowhere to be found. Then, this ominous voice rang out in the arena:
Regal: "I have cold chills right now!"
Ranallo: "It looks like 'The Fiend' has struck again! He's one scary dude!"
Cornette: "There's an ominous presence around us! It feels like he's close by!"
Just then, "The Fiend" stuck his head between the commentators, scaring them all half to death. As Regal, Ranallo, ad Cornette were left paralyzed with fear, "The Fiend" uttered the phrase, "Let me in," then backed out of the area.
Regal: "That was too close for comfort! We may not get any sleep tonight after that! Fans, we've run out of time for this week! Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal. Goodnight everyone."
As the episode was fading to black, Jim Cornette could be heard yelling, "Get me the h*** out of here!"
