AEW Dynamite Discussion

My problem with Lambert is the same problem I had with him in Impact. There it was supposed to be about getting the Lashley & Moose feud over, but it all devolved into just pushing his America Top Team guys & I see the same thing here where it should be making Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page a legit threat, but no it's all about his MMA thugs. I hope the Inner Circle knocks his ass out at the ppv and we're done with his shit for good.

This is why Eddie should have a damn title

So the recent Dynamite, 1/5/21, was bad from top to bottom. I need to vent for the whole card so let's go.


The first match was the AEW World title match. The 2nd match between Page and Danielson and was on the heels of the one hour time limit draw they had. It was a good match and was twenty nine minutes long. My beef is that this whole thing was handled horribly. The first match was an hour long draw, this was a horribly wrong move. It was the first match on the card and became predictable on the end that it was going to the time limit draw. The time limit draw was a fine ending, but had it been a TV time limit draw this easily could have been dragged out. Make it that they had 40 to 50 min tv time remaining main event. Everyone would assume if it runs short promos or other such things. The draw would then be a legit shock and would make people want more. Have Page hit the Buck Shot as time runs out. This allows for him to say he had the win while Danielson denies. This could be stretched out to Febuary with Page said Bryan is not the only one who gets a shot. Bryan stays on top and gets his match that will be the first match of the night at his request to make sure he gets the full hour. This is the hour draw but with Page holding out of a submission leading Bryan to claim he had the win. Thus now we have the PPV “There must be a winner” and there you can go under an hour if you want. Going right off on the hour draw was dumb getting judges that weren't even needed is twice as dumb.


The next “match” was MJF Vs Shawn Dean. Punk comes out and screws MJF over with a DQ finish. While I feel the promos were a bit too much they worked. What didn't was Punk hitting Dean with a GTS. The kick before got the bell rung ended and got the dq. He did not need to go further HE IS THE FACE IN THIS FEUD! He is playing the face and went further than he should have to be the damn face.


Wardlow and Spears just needs to end. Have Wardlow quit Pinnacle, not like they've done anything, and end this stupidity.


Twenty Four....Jade Cargill has had twenty four matches. Not just this year HER WHOLE CAREER! She has not wrestled a full year and it shows! She should have fallen out in the first round or not been in it to begin with. Ruby is a vet 11 years in the business. She is talented and deserves recognition. Jade is barley somewhat competint. She can't even do a decent double ax handle off the ropes. This should be hard to fuck up when you have been trained and she couldn't do it! She is bad and should be champ of ANYTHING!


They had Adam Cole talk about how it was good that Jerome and Tito helped them win their match.....when they didn't need it. I stopped listening quickly.


Black Vs Pillman was fine, my wife like Black. The botch was questionable but que sera sera. Next Lucha Bros come out Black Out and then they and Black have switched places. Then it looked like he called to someone but just kept walking.

Jericho had a minute on tv, it was uneventful. 2Point0 was funny in it a bit that is all.


The main event was serviceable but had issues. Liked Jurassic Express winning but what happened in the match ruined it. A random Black Out happened, hoped House of Black attack, but nothing. A table was brought out for no reason, Jungle Boy, kicked out of WAAAAAAAY too much. Then the ending celebration was far too long.


So much wrong I had to vent.

And the Rookie, with little Wrestling talent who still has a lot to learn about the business has the very simple grasp of how one should present themselves to the public if you're trying to convince them you are SOMEBODY. Kenny looks like he should be somebody's Golf Caddy.
