Darby with a Tope Suicida, he sends PAC back in, PAC rolls back to the floor, & Darby with another Tope Suicida, Running Hurricanrana off the apron, but PAC holds on and swings Darby into the steps, PAC Powerbombs Darby into the steps, back in the ring, Diving Shotgun Dropkick for a near fall, PAC with a Fireman Carry and goes up top, but Darby counters into an Avalanche Crucifix Bomb, PAC rolls to the floor, Darby with a Coffin Drop to the floor, Darby back in, PAC back in at 8, Darby with a Standing Diamond Dust then a Yoshi Tonic for a near fall, PAC rolls to the floor, Darby with a Baseball Slide, but PAC traps him in the ring skirt, Leaping Kick, back in the ring & PAC decapitates Darby with a Lariat, but only gets a near fall, Darby with a La Magistral for a near fall, they trade flash pins, Darby with a Figure 4 flash pin he calls The Last Supper (that's his other big move, that and Coffin Drop are Darby's preferred finishers), but only gets a near fall, Coffin Drop countered into a Release German Suplex, PAC follows with a Ligerbomb for a near fall, PAC up top, Darby meets him, PAC fights him off, Black Arrow on the injured back, he rolls Darby over for the pin and gets the win

Tony Schiavone interviews PAC.

PAC cuts him off and demands Tony congratulate him for becoming number one contender. Tony says next week he has to wrestle Jon Moxley, but the Bastard says Mox is clearly incapacitated, which means a forfeit, which means he’s #1 contender. He calls out Jericho but Schiavone says they have to go backstage.

Cut to Jon being loaded into an ambulance but he refuses to be driven off!

MOXLEY, HIS EYE BANDAGED AND BLOOD STAINING HIS FACE AND SHOULDER, STORMS BACK OUT TO RINGSIDE,! HE’S GOT A MIC! HE SAYS IT’S NOT GOING DOWN LIKE THAT!

He doesn’t care if he has one eye, is blind, or half-dead, he’ll be there next week and he will kick PAC’s ass because that title shot belongs to him!

I can not agree with this move. It should have been Pride & Powerful to take it

Tony Schiavone interviews “Hangman” Adam Page and Kenny Omega.

Omega says he’d never have predicted he’d be here in the tag division now with one of his best friends, but here he is. Page says he said he’d whip both their asses and he did. He continues and Tony cuts him off to ask Kenny about PAC. He says PAC is garbage but he’s gonna get his rubber match, but right now the tag titles are a priority.

Adam gets cut off by the Bucks showing up and Kenny says they’ve supported them since day one. Hangman says he’s surprised they won the titles before the Bucks did and he sips his whiskey as he leaves. Kenny sputters an agreement

Jericho joins JR & Excalibur for at the announce booth for the next match

PAC vs Jon Moxley:

PAC with a Diving Shotgun Dropkick it knocks Mox into the rope and he comes back with a Jawbreaker Lariat, he ducks a Rolling Solebutt & hits The Money Clip for a 2 count, PAC goes after the good eye & sets Mox up top, Mox fights him off & shoves PAC to the mat, Mox tries the Lunatic Elbow, but PAC blocks, Bruatlizer turned into a flash pin for a near fall, PAC with Kawada Kicks then a Basement Dropkick for a near fall, PAC sets up Mox, up top, 450 Splash, but Mox gets the knees up, Small Package for a near fall, Rear Naked Choke, but PAC sends Mox into the turnbuckle, Release German Suplex, back up top, Mox avoids The Black Arrow, PAC counters the Regal Knee with a Superkick, he charges, but Mox hits The Paradigm Shift for a near fall, PAC rolls to the floor, Mox sends him back in, Mox up top, PAC is up & hits a Superplex, then locks in The Brutalizer, Mox refuses to give it up, he gets his foot on the rope, PAC calls for the kill & rips off the bandage over the eye and rains down punches to the eyes, Mox with a Small Package for a near fall, Paradigm Shift, he gets back up & hits The Paradigm Shift Mk II for the win & gets the title match at Revolution

With Blackjack & Hookers

Jon Moxley makes his entrance through the crowd, wearing an eyepatch.

He gets on the mic and says he realized, when he was being stabbed with a spike in the eye, that the fun and games were over, but it’s official now— Moxley vs. Jericho on February 29. Chris is the only thing that stands between him and the top of the mountain, but it’s a lot more than a wrestling match, it’s everything that comes along with him, the Inner Circle and the mind games.

Jericho’s the kind of guy that orchestrates 5-on-1 gang beatdowns, hides behind his boys, tried to take his eyesight, slammed Dustin Rhodes’ arm in a car door, took Cody Rhodes’ good looks, stole Rey Mysterio’s mask, hell, hit a woman. Mox ain’t a saint, he doesn’t wear a black hat or a white hat, but he needs to make sure to look himself in the mirror at the end of the day, and all the championships in the world don’t matter if you don’t have a code of honor.

He sees Y2J as a manipulator, a coward, and a bully, and boy oh boy, does Jon hate bullies. So what’s gonna happen on February 29, is there’ll be a target pointed square at his head, but he’ll look down the barrel of the gun without flinching or hesitating, and he’ll take Chris Jericho out and take the AEW World Championship from him, and there ain’t a damn thing he can do about it.

Because it’s not about the kind of man you are, it’s about the kind of man you’re not. Of course, Jericho might not even make it to Revolution. Mox knows he’ll have to keep his one eye behind him while the Inner Circle try to take him out, but he’s not having that. Let’s do it tonight, and he wants Jericho for once in his punk-ass life to take his beating like a man!

Enter Chris Jericho.

He gets on the mic from the stage and says Moxley makes him laugh, talking about what he’s done, deserved, and earned. All he earned was a spike to the eye, and that’s what he deserves, because all he had to do was say yes to the offer to join Inner Circle, and now look at him, a jacked up version of Captain Jack Sparrow. Yo ho ho and a bottle of dumb, because he’s stupid, you see.

Jericho says he saw Jon’s mother backstage, looking especially fetching, and maybe he’ll give her a call later. But he apologized for what happened and explained that it was Moxley’s fault, because he was offered the keys to the kingdom and instead smashed a bottle over his head, and that’s how we got here. So Mox wants to be a big man, thinks he can be champ, but he can’t even blink with both eyes?

You want a fight tonight? Go to hell. He doesn’t travel anywhere without his boys in the Inner Circle, and he calls them down. Moxley counts that there’s five of them up there and says they think he’s gonna walk into another 5-on-1 beatdown because he’s crazy and stupid, but where Jericho is wrong is that it isn’t five on one. See, he was born and raised here in the great state of Ohio, so the way he sees it, he’s got everybody here behind him.

Mox strides out of the ring and Jericho tells him he’s a stupid son of a bitch, just like everybody from Ohio. So he’s gonna make it a little more fun, with some south Bronx street thugs, courtesy of Ortiz and Santana. That makes it 10-1, not counting all of Jon’s idiot friends from Ohio, that he’d be happy to beat each and every one of them.

Mox takes the lead guy out with a headbutt and a DDT and charges into the fray! Referees and trainers swarm to pull everybody apart, which leads Jon to hit a DDT on Cheech Hernandez, who happens to be a security guard here tonight!

MJF visits the Meat Rack to contract The Butcher & Blade once again, this time he's hiring them to take out The Bucks after they threw him in the pool last week
