William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour!"
Just then, the house lights went out.
Surprisingly, the first person to appear on the entrance way was not this mysterious "Fiend," but "Spirit of Abigail" Maria Kanellis.
Maria Kanellis: "Last week, you saw the debut of the most destructive force in this world. He is known as 'The Fiend.' Formerly, the world came to know him as Bray Wyatt. But, as with the caterpillar into a butterfly, a metamorphosis has taken place. Gone is the 'Eater of Worlds.' In his place is a much more sinister force. As he was hurt and then healed, 'The Fiend' must war between two eternal choices, to hurt or to heal. Trust Abigail when she tells you that, unfortunately, now is a time to hurt."
"The Fiend" then walked out with the collective membership of "The New Face of Fear" en tow. Maria handed him the microphone and he uttered one phrase..."Let me in."
The house lights went dark once again. Then, this ominous sound rang out.
Regal: "Good Lord! I have goose bumps all over my body!"
Mauro Ranallo: "You aren't kidding, William! Bray Wyatt has gotten even creepier than ever! 'The Fiend' is here!"
Jim Cornette: "I ain't afraid of much, but I'm afraid of that! 'The Fiend' is next level scary!"
Regal: "And, with 'The New Face of Fear' behind him, there's no telling what sort of destructive path they might carve! I fear no one is safe! Fans, we have to get back to our regularly scheduled program, but you'll have to forgive us if we're a bit preoccupied with the frightening presence of 'The Fiend.' Bray Wyatt has changed and it's obvious he's gotten more evil than before. Let's shift gears. Tonight, we'll see 'Sons of Steel' challenge 'War Machine' for the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship! 'Euro Trash' with Deonna Purrazzo will challenge 'British Strong Style' and Joanna Rose for the World Six-Man Tag Team Championship! And, our main event will see Heavyweight Champion WALTER and Cruiserweight Champion Kota Ibushi battle Brock Lesnar and Ricochet! Let's get to it!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship ~ "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) vs. "Sons of Steel" (Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony)
This was a war of attrition for much of the contest. All four men know tag team wrestling inside and out. It was a clinic in tandem offense and counter wrestling. Hanson and Rowe used their brute strength and heavy strikes to level their competition, while Boomer and Brice chopped them down to size with a blend of precision and technique. Ultimately, this one was thrown out after "OI4K" came out and destroyed all four combatants.
Winners = no contest in 12:26 ("War Machine" retains)
Regal: "That was a blatant assault for no reason!"
Ranallo: "'OI4K' is out here flexing its muscle with no fear of repercussions!"
Cornette: "That could be a hit laid out by CM Punk and Ric Flair. 'War Machine' did spurn Punk's advances of an alliance a few weeks ago."
Regal: "Indeed. Whatever the case, 'OI4K' has run roughshod as CM Punk's hit squad! Fans, let's take a break. When we return, the NWA World Six-Man Tag Team Titles are on the line!"
Regal: "We're back! Vanessa Craft is backstage with 'The Insurgence.' Let's here what they have to say."
Vanessa Craft: "I am here with Kevin Steen and Claudio Castagnoli. Gentlemen, you two seem as if you haven't been on the same page recently. What do you attribute that to?"
Kevin Steen: "You don't sugar coat it do you, Vanessa?! Yeah, Claudio and I haven't seen eye-to-eye recently. We've lost matches because of it. Look, he just needs to get his head back in the game and we'll be fine."
Claudio Castagnoli: "Me?! Get my head back in the game?! You're the one who needs to focus! I'm as good as I've always been!"
The two got nose-to-nose, then Steen shoved Claudio. Castagnoli responded with a push of his own that knocked Steen down. Kevin got up and they began to tussle. Craft maoved out of the way as officials ran in to separate them.
Regal: "Oh my! we may be seeing the implosion of this long-time partnership!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia! Kevin Steen and Claudio Castagnoli got heated in a hurry!"
Cornette: "Ever since they left 'Camp Cornette,' they've been in shambles!"
Regal: "Honestly Jim, I'd have to agree."
Cornette: "Wow! How did that feel coming out of your mouth?!"
Regal: "Quite bitter, actually."
Cornette: "Ha!"
Regal: "Let's go to the ring for the World Six-Man Tag team Championship match!"
Match Two ~ NWA World Six-Man Tag Team Championship ~ "British Strong Style" ("Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne, Trent Seven, & Tyler Bate) with Joanna Rose vs. "Euro Trash" (Zack Sabre, Jr., "The Villain" Marty Scurll, & Aleister Black) with "Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo
This was an epic European grudge match. The action was brutal and hard-hitting, using submission wrestling at its absolute best. All six men were on a mission to injure one another. Scurll and Dunne concentrated on fingers. Sabre and Seven focused on legs. Bate and Black used their feet to tantalize the fans and kicks holes through their opponents. The women got into a shouting match at ringside, with Rose smacking Purrazzo across the jaw. Scurll took umbrage to his girlfriend being woman-handled. He yelled at Rose and lost his concentration. This allowed Seven to nail a "Seven Star Lariat." Dunne followed up quickly with "Bitter End" while Bate took out Black and Sabre with a "Crossbody Press."
Winners and STILL NWA World Six-Man Tag Team Champions = "British Strong Style" by pinfall in 26:33
Regal: "What a match!"
Ranallo: "Holy cow, that was good!"
Cornette: "The European style has always intrigued me, and these six do it better than anyone else in the world!"
After the match, Joe and Mark Coffey stormed the ring and took out the champions.
Regal: "The Irishmen are sending a message to 'British Strong Style!' Wow! Fans, let's take a break. We'll return with our huge main event next!"
As the episode came back to air, the scene was backstage as "Gallus" approached Vanessa Craft in the interview area.
Joe Coffey: "I hope the world just saw what we did out there to the World Champions! 'Gallus' is here and this is our kingdom!"
The brothers Coffey stormed off leaving Craft in disbelief.
Regal: "Oh my! Joe and Mark Coffey mean business! Speaking of business, it's about to pick up, as our old friend Jim ross would say! It's main event time!"
Match Three ~ "The Richards Collective" ("The Beast" Brock Lesnar & "The One & Only" Ricochet with Eve Torres) vs. "The Magnificent Seven" ("Ring General" WALTER & Kota Ibushi with AJ Lee)
There was a definite contrast in styles on both teams, with Ricochet and Kota supplying the highlight reel, while Lesnar and WALTER offered straight ahead, smash mouth offense. There was a very interesting sequence where Brock and WALTER traded "German Suplexes." Each man kept getting up and asking for more from his opponent. The fans ate it up. Ricochet and Ibushi did not disappoint either. They engaged in an "Eziguiri" battle won by Ibushi, or so we thought. After he knocked Ricochet down, he went to scoop him up for a "Bodyslam," only to see ricochet slide out and hit a "Reverse Hurricanrana" that spiked Kota on top of his noggin. The end came in exciting fashion. Lesnar hit a massive "Release German Suplex" on Kota. Ricochet was already perched on the top rope and landed his "630 Senton Splash" for the pin before WALTER could make it into the ring to break up the pin.
Winners = Brock Lesnar & Ricochet by pinfall in 15:08
As soon as the bell rang, the remaining members of "The Magnificent Seven" (including Co-Commissioner Ric Flair) hit the ring for the beat down.
Regal: "Oh my! This is mass carnage!"
"The Richards Collective" came out and evened the odds. Before long, there was a fight of mythic proportions at ringside. Sting came out with a throng of Security to try and separate the parties. Finally, he got on the microphone.
Sting: "Enough! That's it! I've had it with this turf war! Something's gotta give! Next week, the entire 'Magnificent Seven' will be in action against 'The Richards Collective!' The losing team must disband!"
Regal: "What?!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia!"
Cornette: "Holy crap!"
Regal: "What an announcement by Co-Commissioner Sting! One of these two powerful factions will disband as a result of this massive main event next week! You didn't need another reason to join us next Tuesday on TBS for the Show Time Power Hour, but you just got one! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
CM Punk and company gawked at Sting in shock over his blockbuster proclamation as the episode drew to a close.
