William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, last week we saw the ultimate act of defiance when CM Punk punched Jordan Richards in the face at the conclusion of the broadcast!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Momma Mia! Talk about dysfunction on the job! CM Punk laid hands on the owner of this company! I can't believe he hasn't been fired already!"
Jim Cornette: "You got that right! I've seen people canned for much less than that!"
Just then, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out NWA: Show Time owner Jordan Richards.
Jordan Richards: "Well, the world of pro wrestling has been set ablaze by the events of last Tuesday. Half of Twitter was appalled that CM Punk sucker-punched me in the jaw. Half of them said I got what I deserved and that they'd love to punch their boss in the mouth. I can see both sides of the argument, honestly. However, the fact that CM Punk took it upon himself to physically assault me demands a consequence. That act is considered insubordination, and is not to be tolerated. I very easily could terminate Punk's contract and put him in the bread line and be legally justified in doing so. But, that's too easy. Plus, it gives me no real satisfaction. CM Punk is out of control and he needs to be taken down a peg. What's worse is that he has Commissioner Ric Flair in his corner as well! They've become a two-headed monster! They needed to be put in check!"
"Cult of Personality" played to bring out CEO CM Punk and Commissioner Ric Flair.
CM Punk: "Well, well, well. I'm surprised you can talk after last week, Jordan. You're tougher than I thought."
Ric Flair: "Yeah, but he sure has lost his timing! He didn't even see that punch coming! Woooo!"
Richards: "Very funny. Punk, I'm glad you are out here. Like I said earlier, firing you would be too easy. I want you to suffer the consequences of your actions, but I want front row seats to see you get knocked down a peg."
Punk: "Good luck with that!"
Richards: "Oh, I want need any luck. I already have a plan in motion. For starters, let's talk about that little punch. I hope it felt good, because it's going to cost you. In fact, I'm fining you fifty thousand dollars for that stunt!"
Punk: "Fifty thousand?! I have that in my couch cushions!"
Richards: "Good, because that's not all. You also have been placed on probation by the Board of Directors for conduct unbecoming the CEO. So, if you try and pull any of the stuff you've been doing since you took the position, you'll be relieved of your duties by the Board."
Punk: "Nice try, Jordan! But, we still have a pretty powerful Commissioner here who can make his own decisions."
Flair: "That's right! 'The Nature Boy' still knows how to run the show! Woooo!"
Richards: "I had a feeling you two might play that card. So, I have an ace up my sleeve as well. In fact, I'm glad you're out here, Ric. Because I need to introduce you to someone. I got to thinking that the hierarchy of NWA: Show Time could use some checks and balances. The Board agrees with me. So, I have modified the Commissioner role."
Flair: "Modified it! What's that supposed to mean?!"
Richards: "Oh, so I have your attention now? What it means is that I need to ensure that the Commissioner functions in the best interests of the company. So long as CM Punk is CEO, that won't happen. So, I've made sure it will. I've decided that the Commissioner role will be expanded to a two-person team. So, without further adieu, allow me to introduce the new Co-Commissioner."
The crowd absolutely erupted when Sting's entrance video played on the tron. When, he parted the curtain, the pop grew even louder.
Regal: "It's Sting! He's here!"
Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?!"
Cornette: "Ric Flair looks like he's seen a ghost!"
Richards: "Ric, I think you know Sting. After all, he's had your number for the last twenty-five years or thereabout. He will act in tandem with you, Naitch, to ensure that every match made and every executive decision is above board."
Sting then walked slowly toward the ring. Flair's eyes were as big as saucers. Punk looked concerned as well. Sting stepped into the ring and walked up nose-to-nose with Flair, who almost looked to be shaking. Then, Sting smiled, took a step back, and pointed his signature black bat at Flair's face. Ric and Punk then slid out of the ring.
Richards: "Sting officially steps into his Co-Commissioner position effective immediately. In fact, why don't you address these two, Commish?"
Sting: "It's been a few years since we've crossed paths, hasn't it Ric? It's good to be back in Charlotte, North Carolina! It brings back many fond memories, especially some of my greatest victories over you. Now, we're Co-Commissioners! So, get used to this face! My first act as Commissioner is to make a match for the main event. It's going to be CM Punk and Matt Riddle defending the Tag Team Championship against the Usos! And, no more if these hand-picked special guest referees! We'll have a competent NWA: Show Time official and everyone in 'The Magnificent Seven' and 'The Samoan Dynasty' not in the match will be barred from ringside!"
Richards: "What a decision! That sounds like a fantastic main event! See you later, Phil! I hope you brought your gear!"
Sting let out a big, "Owwwwwww!" to the delight of the crowd.
Regal: "Wow! What a blockbuster announcement by Jordan Richards that the icon Sting has been brought in as Co-Commissioner to counterbalance Ric Flair! And, he immediately made a huge main event match that will involve the CEO! That just adds to the already stacked line-up! Let's go to the ring for our first match!"
Match One ~ Zack Sabre, Jr. with "Viruosa" Deonna Purrazzo vs. Tyler Bate with Joanna Rose
Winner = Zack Sabre, Jr. by submission in 28:18
Regal: "What a phenomenal match!"
Ranallo: "Those two put on a clinic!"
Cornette: "That was textbook British wrestling!"
Sabre grabbed a microphone.
Zack Sabre, Jr.: "That matched proved two things. Number one, 'Euro Trash' has the superior manager in Deonna Purrazzo! Joanna Rose is yesterday's rubbish! Number two, we have the superior skill! With that being said, I think it's time 'British Strong Style' grant 'Euro Trash' a shot at the World Six-Man Titles!"
Sabre left the ring defiantly as Bate recovered.
Regal: "We'll take a quick break and be back with more great action next!"
Regal: "We're back! For the sake of time, we're going right back to the ring with our next match!"
Match Two ~ Solomon Crowe with "Death Machine" Jessicka Havok, "Killer Queen" Neveah, & Crimson vs. "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas with The Sinister Minister & "Priestess" Skyler Moon
Crowe had trouble handling the sheer size and strength of Judas. Mikael pounced on his prey like a wolf. Crowe was backpedaling and trying to use his seconds as distractions. This match did not last long. As Judas lifted Crowe into position for "El Crucifejo," Crimson hit the ring and caused the disqualification.
Winner = Mikael Judas by disqualification in 4:05
Regal: "That was a blatant interference by Crimson to save his man from defeat!"
Ranallo: "Solomon Crowe was taking a brutal ride on the pain train and Crimson helped derail it!"
Cornette: "With 'OI4K' being on CM Punk's payroll, they think they can run roughshod over everyone. They ran into a brick wall with big Mikael Judas!"
Regal: "We'll take another break. But, we'll be back with our huge main event next!"
Regal: "We're back! Before we go to the ring, Vanessa Craft is standing by with the Tag Team Champions CM Punk and Matt Riddle."
Vanessa Craft: "I'm here with 'Magnificent Seven' members CM Punk and Matt Riddle. You're set to defend the Tag Team Championship in a match mandated by new Co-Commissioner Sting. That had to take you by surprise."
Punk: "I am not surprised that Jordan Richards is grasping at straws like this. His hiring of Sting proves it. But, none of it matters. The bottom line is that Matt Riddle and I are the best tag team in the company and we'll prove it against the Usos. They can't hold our rather large jocks, much less beat us in a match! We'll continue to do what 'The Magnificent Seven' always does...be champions!"
Regal: "Well, the playing field has been leveled by Sting, so we'll see if CM punk's prediction comes true."
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "The Magnificent Seven" CM Punk & "King of Bros" Matt Riddle vs. Jimmy & Jey Uso
This began as a classic tag team encounter and came to a brutal and controversial end. The Usos had their precision team offense cooking. Punk and Riddle used strikes and kicks to combat them. In the end, none of that mattered. The referee got knocked down. The Usos hit a "Double Super Kick" on Punk and then Jey executed the "Superfly Leap." He had Punk covered for several seconds. Then, "OI4K" ran in with the entire group and destroyed the Usos. They fled the ring and Riddle hit "Bro to Sleep" on Jimmy for the easy pin.
Winners and STILL NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = CM Punk & Matt Riddle by pinfall in 12:46
Regal: "Solomon Crowe and his group of henchmen just proved that they indeed are CM Punk's hired guns! They giftwrapped the match and saved the championship for Punk and Riddle! What a travesty! Fans, we're all out of time for this week. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
