William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal! With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, we've seen one week with CM Punk as the CEO, and it's a whole new level of favoritism, as he booked himself, Matt Riddle, and Braun Strowman into title matches last week and used handpicked referees to ensure their victory!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Even Jordan Richards didn't usually stack the deck quite that much for 'The Richards Collective!' What will Punk do next?!"
Jim Cornette: "We also found out that Jordan Richards set himself up so that he cannot be fired, and he's still Chairman of the Board! We're about to see one of the biggest power struggles in company history!"
Regal: "I feel certain you are correct, sir. Fans, we're not sure what to expect this week. We do have three matches scheduled, but who knows if they'll all get to take place? For now, let's get this hour started in the ring!"
Match One ~ Jacob Fatu with Sefa Fatu, Jimmy, & Jey Uso vs. Teddy Hart with Davey Boy Smith, Jr., Lance Hoyt, & Brian Pillman, Jr.
Fatu is a mauler and is insanely athletic for his size. Hart is speedy and technically precise, while mixing in some acrobatics that shock and awe. He's a dynamo. Both men had their best stuff on display. In the end, Fatu caught Hart in midair and "Powerslammed" him. He followed up with the "Samoan Splash" for the win.
Winner = Jacob Fatu by pinfall in 10:23
Regal: "Wow! Jacob Fatu and the 'Samoan Dynasty' continue to impress!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia! Jacob Fatu is a beast!"
Cornette: "I've watched Jacob Fatu on the indies and I've always said he has the potential to be a breakout superstar! He just showed why against the cagy Teddy Hart!"
Suddenly, "OI4K" ambushed everyone in the ring with baseball bats. "Samoan Dynasty" and "The New Hart Foundation" were both laid waste by the combined forces of Solomon Crowe and his evil band of Ohioans. Crowe screamed into the camera, "Take no prisoners! All will be victims!"
Regal: "What a scene out here as 'OI4K' has just destroyed everyone in sight! Fans, we need to take a break to get these men some medical attention. We'll be back shortly."
Regal: "We're back. As you can see, trainers are taking 'Samoan Dynasty' and 'The New Hart Foundation' back for medical assessment after the beating doled out at the hands of 'OI4K.' The question is, does our new CEO plan to do anything about them?"
Just then, "Cult of Personality" played to bring out CEO CM Punk with AJ Lee.
Punk walked over to the announcers' booth.
CM Punk: "I heard what you just said, William. Was that a dig against me?!"
Regal: "No sir. I simply asked a very pointed question. 'OI4K' has run roughshod since forming, even bringing over members from another company. As the CEO, I feel you may want to lend your attention to it before half of your roster is put out of commission."
Punk: "Well, I feel like you should mind your own business! Speaking of business, I think 'OI4K' is simply culling the herd, which is best for business. As long as they stay out of 'The Magnificent Seven's' affairs, I have no problem with them. Now, I am making a change to the rest of the program. I am scrapping the other two matches we had lined up for tonight, because I think a title match is in order. Ricochet and Nick Aldis recently stole the Mid-Atlantic Tag team Championship from 'War Machine.' I am going to do something about that. We are going to have an 'Elimination' match for those titles, and it starts right now! Get those four out here!"
Regal: "Well, you've heard the edict passed down by CEO CM Punk. He's just made an 'Elimination' match for the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship between Ricochet and Aldis and 'War Machine' with no warning! Let's take another quick break to get them out here for the match. We'll be back in sixty seconds!"
Punk decided to stay at the commentary booth.
Regal: "We're back! We have a referee in the ring and 'War Machine' made its entrance during the break. We're awaiting the champions."
Ricochet and Nick Aldis came out in their street clothes. Aldis had a microphone.
Nick Aldis: "So, we see that the new CEO CM Punk is trying to mess with 'The National Treasure' and 'The One & Only.' Clearly, we were not inform earlier today that we had a title match. But, we've beaten 'War Machine' before. Tonight, we'll do it in our street clothes!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship ~ "Elmination" match ~ "The One & Only" Ricochet & "The National Treasure" Nick Aldis with Eve Torres vs. "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe)
This was a great back and forth match for quite some time. Aldis and Ricochet tried to isolate Rowe, concentrating on wearing him down for the elimination. Rowe finally got a tag to Hanson, who came in a cleaned house. He knocked Ricochet out of the ring and then did the same to Aldis. Ricochet was the legal man for his team, so the referee began to count him out of the ring. He attempted to get back into the ring at the seven count, but was dragged off the apron by Rowe (non-legal man). Aldis came over and a fight commenced outside the ring. The referee continued to count, reaching ten before Ricochet could reenter the ring.
Ricochet was eliminated by countout in 18:17
Aldis had to go it alone as Ricochet protested, but was dismissed to the back. nick was punished by Hanson and Rowe for what seemed like an eternity. Aldis was fading fast. It looked like he was done for. Hanson hit shi "Spinkick of Doom." He taunted the downed Aldis before covering him. Hanson made a lazy cover, simply lying on top of Aldis. At the count of two, Nick turned it into a "Crucifix" cover and got the surprising elimination.
"WarBeard" Hanson was eliminated by pinfall in 16:45
Hanson was in awe that he had been pinned. He and Rowe hammered on Aldis and hit him with "Fallout" before Hanson finally left ringside. This allowed Rowe to inflict even more damage. Aldis persevered, showing his true grit and toughness. The referee got knocked down inadvertently, as Rowe was attempting a "Lariat" on Aldis. Nick then managed to lock in his "Kingsland Cloverleaf" submission. After several seconds, Rowe began to tap out. But, there was no referee to count the fall. CM Punk left the commentary booth and jumped into the ring, blasting Aldis. He then hit "Go to Sleep" and rolled Rowe on top of Aldis. Punk then counted the three and rang the bell.
Nick Aldis was eliminated by pinfall in 12:02
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions = "War Machine" in a total match time of 47:04
Regal: "CM Punk has just handed the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship to 'War Machine!' What a travesty! 'The Richards Collective' is now beltless! Fans, we're out of time for this week!
