William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, we are five days away from 'Great American Bash' and the huge match that will change the future of this company! But tonight, wehave what might go down as two instant classics on the program!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?! These two tag team matches will be epic! First off, 'Euro Trash' will defend the Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship against former champions 'Moustache Mountain' in a 'Texas Tornado' match!"
Jim Cornette: "And, in the main event, my boys 'The Revival' will settle the score once and for all with 'The Insurgence' in a 'Two-Out-of-Three Falls' match!"
Regal: "Tag team wrestling at its very best will be on display tonight! Without further adieu, let's get this hour started!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship ~ "Texas Tornado" Match ~ "Euro Trash" ("The Villain" Marty Scurll & Aleister Black) with Joanna Rose vs. "Moustache Mountain" (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate)
This was a frenetic match, with action going on inside and outside the ring. Both teams were at their hard-hitting European style best. Seven and Bate both hit "Suicide Dives" to the outside on separate occasions. Black hit "Black mass" on Seven, only to have the pin broken up by Bate. Zack Sabre, Jr. came down toward the end of the match, but was run off by Pete Dunne. In the midst of that chaos, a female assailant came out of the crowd and struck Bate in the leg with Marty Scurll's umbrella. This hobbled him and made him fodder for another "Black Mass" from Black for the pin.
Winners and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions = "Euro Trash" by pinfall in 18:14
Regal: "What the heck just happened?!"
Ranallo: "Who was that woman?! She came out of nowhere!"
Cornette: "I don't know, but she did more for 'Euro Trash' in five seconds than Joanna Rose did for them the whole match!"
The woman stepped into the ring and pulled back her mask to reveal herself as Deonna Purrazzo, world renowned female wrestler and girlfriend to Scurll. Joanna Rose took exception to this revelation, confronting Scurll and demanding to know why Purrazzo was out there. Deonna attacked Rose from behind, knocking her down and stomping on her. Scurll and Black looked stunned for a moment, then held Rose as Purrazzo blasted her. Deonna locked in her "Fujiwara Armbar," which brought "Moustache Mountain" back out to save the defenseless Rose. Rose was helped to the back by Seven and Bate.
regal: "What a turn of events we've seen out here! This issue isn't over yet! Not by a longshot! Fans, let's take a break. When we return, we'll have our main event!"
Regal: "We're back! Vanessa Craft is standing by with 'British Strong Style' and Joanna Rose. Le'ts see what they have to say."
Vanessa Craft: "I have four very upset individuals here with me in 'British Strong Style' and the manager of 'Euro Trash,' Joanna Rose."
Joanna Rose: "Make that former manager of those turncoats! I should have known by their name, 'Trash,' that I couldn't trust those three! They lived up to the moniker! They're nothing more than rubbish!"
Trent Seven: "Listen, we've never seen eye-to-eye with Joanna Rose or 'Euro Trash.' But, what they were doing to her out there was inexcusable! We had to do something!"
Tyler Bate: "We couldn't sit by and let those wankers gang up on a defenseless woman, could we?!"
Pete Dunne: "What they did to Joanna was wrong. And, what Deonna Purrazzo did to Tyler, costing these two the Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship, will not be tolerated! If 'Euro Trash' wants to bring on Deonna Purrazzo, fine. We've got a partner of our own. Now it's time the four of them get a beating, courtesy of the four of us!"
Craft: "There you have it. Back to you, William."
Regal: "So, it would appear that Joanna Rose has switched allegiances. It also sounded like an eight-person challenge was thrown out. That would be a very interesting match, should it come to be. All right fans! Let's shift gears to our big main event, two-out-of-three falls! Jim Cornette is already posted at ringside! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Two ~ "Two-Out-of-Three Falls" match ~ "The Revival" (Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) with Jim Cornette vs. "The Insurgence" (Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli)
To say this match was a tag team clinic would not do it justice. These two teams put on a master class in ring psychology and teamwork. The first fall went to Steen and Claudio after and illegal switcheroo the illegal Steen pin Dash.
"The Insurgence" = 1
"The Revival" = 0
"The Revival" came roaring back with the second fall, after dropping Claudio with "Shatter Machine."
"The Revival" = 1
"The Insurgence" = 1
That set up the deciding fall, which became its own epic encounter entirely. This was the longest leg of the match, with both teams snatching away victories from the other with timely pinfall saves. In the end, it was some clever misdirection that allowed the winning fall to be scored. Steen had Dash up for his "Package Piledriver." The referee was trying to break up an argument between Claudio and Cornette, who was on the apron. Scott Dawson took the opportunity to fly in with a "Running Clothesline" on Steen. Wilder turned that into a "Jackknife" cover for the pin.
"The Revival" = 2
"The Insurgence" = 1
Winners = "The Revival" by two falls to one in a total match time of 30:46
Regal: "What a match!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia! That was tag team wrestling at its absolute best!"
Regal: "Dash and Dawson have proven yet again that they belong in the conversation of the greatest teams on planet earth! That's the kind of action you have come to expect from NWA: Show Time! Regardless of what happens on Sunday when 'The Richards Collective' and 'Allied Powers' meet, that will never change! However, the direction of this company will change forever! Fans, please call your local cable or satellite provider to order this pay-per-view! NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley previewed the big multiple stipulation match for the big PPV. She could not contain her excitement at the prospect of CM Punk either being retired or being CEO of the company. "Both options seem surreal," she quipped. With that, Kelley signed off.
