William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, we had plenty of controversy last week with new Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions and Matt Riddle being attacked prior to his World Title opportunity!"
Mauro Ranallo: "'The Richards Collective' added another thoroughbred in Nick Aldis, and they captured the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship in dubious fashion, all while giving the Pearl Harbor job to Matt Riddle!"
Jim Cornette: "Well, I'll say 'The Richards Collective' is on my hit list as well, but not until after we take care of 'The Insurgence!'"
Regal: "And, I'm sure that day will come very soon, Jim. Dash Wilder is on the mend and I'm sure he's ready to get back into action."
Cornette: "You're dang right he is! I expect him to be cleared as soon as next week!"
Regal: "Well tonight, we have a stellar line-up on deck! 'OI4K' will actually be in the ring for its first official match, as they take on Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe! Also, Killer Kross defends the Television Championship against Teddy Hart, and our main event will see CM Punk battle Kota Ibushi for the Cruiserweight Championship in a match signed by Jordan Richards himself! But first, it's six-man action in the ring! Let's get this hour started!"
Match One ~ "Euro Trash" (Zack Sabre, Jr., &"The Villain" Marty Scurll, & Aleister Black) with Joanna Rose vs. "The Forgotten Sons" ("Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice, "Born Winner" Mike Madden, & "Universal Soldier" Gunner)
This was one of the most intense ten-minute matches you'll see anywhere in the world. There was the torturous joint manipulation and submissions of Zabre and Scurll versus the smash mouth, straight ahead styles of Gunner and Justice. Thrown into the mix were the deadly strikes of Black and the technical precision of Madden. it made for a great contrast in approaches. The end came when Madden attempted his "Flatliner" finish on Black, who spun out and hit "Black Mass" for the surprise pin while the others brawled on the floor.
Winners = "Euro Trash" by pinfall in 10:33
Regal: "What a first match! If that was any indication, this sixty minutes will be fantastic!"
Ranallo: "'Euro Trash' proved they aren't just a Cruiserweight force! They hung with the big boys and beat them!"
Cornette: "Great showing by the European trio!"
Regal: "Fans, we have to take a quick break, but we'll be back with more exciting action in moments!"
Regal: "We're back! Vanessa Craft is standing by with Alexa Bliss, who says she has a challenge to throw out!"
Vanessa Craft: "Yes William, I am here with 'The Goddess' Alexa Bliss. Alexa, you asked for this time to make a special challenge."
Alexa Bliss: "That's right, Vanessa. You see, I am the only woman ever to win the Television Championship. In fact, i was the only woman ever to hold a singles title in this company. That piece of history was mine alone. Well, a couple of weeks ago, that changed. Shotzi Blakkhartt won the Mid-Atlantic Title. She and Jay Lethal fired Truth Martini and got rid of Donovan Dijak to boot. They renamed themselves 'Lethal Enterprises' and now they think they can walk around and do whatever they want?! I don't think so! So, she and I currently share history. Well, I don't like sharing. But, if I beat Shotzi, I'll be the only woman to win two titles in this company. It's time 'The Goddess' get another belt around her waist anyway. So, Miss Blakkhartt, if you are as ballsy you say you are, you'll accept my challenge for a Mid-Atlantic Championship match. I'll be waiting for your response."
Craft: "There you have it. Back to you, William."
Regal: "So, Alexa Bliss has challenged Shotzi Blakkhartt for the Mid-Atlantic Championship. Will we see a woman versus woman title match for the first time in this company's history? Time will tell. Fans, Killer Kross is set to defend the Television Championship against teddy Hart of 'The New Hart Foundation.' Let's see if Canada's royal wrestling family can add another tittle to it's resume'!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ Killer Kross with "Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Teddy Hart with Brian Pillman, Jr.
Hart used his speed and aerial prowess to evade Kross and keep him off balance. When he was not flying, he sought to keep his distance against the deadly striker. Hart's tactics worked for several minutes, but Kross finally got his hands on Hart and punished him for several more. Kross ended the defense with his "Kross Jacket" that put Hart to sleep fairly quickly after he locked it in.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Television Champion = Killer Kross by submission in 13:12
Regal: "Regardless of how he won the championship, you have to be impressed with Killer Kross! He's a cerebral and sadistic wrestler."
Ranallo: "No question about it! When he locks in that 'Kross Jacket,' it's over!"
Cornette: "Teddy Hart had it cooking for a while, but he got put to sleep for his troubles!"
Regal: "We're going to take another break. Still plenty more action to come when we return!"
Regal: "We're back and ready to see the in-ring debut of 'OI4K!' Crowe and Crimson have a tall task in overcoming Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe, who are looking to avenge their leader Bray Wyatt! Now, Crowe said last week he was bringing the entire group together, but we've only seen the Show Time contingent thus far today. Let's go to the ring!"
Match Three ~ "OI4K (Ohio is 4 Killers)" (Solomon Crowe & Crimson with "Death Machine" Jessicka Havok and "Killer Queen" Neveah) vs. "The New Face of Fear" (Killian Dain & Alexander Wolfe with Erick Rowan)
This was a fight, pure and simple. There was no catch-as-catch-can expertise; no sweet science on display. It was four men bent on destroying one another. After twelve minutes of warring, the seconds at ringside got involved, prompting the referee to throw the match out.
Winners = no contest in 12:46
After the bell, Jon Moxley, Matt Cross, Madman Fulton, and the Crist brothers rushed the ring from the crowd. An inhumane beat down of the three hapless victims ensued. After leaving their opponents for dead, "OI4K" posed in the ring, taking up the entire space as they posed in triumph.
Regal: "When you see this group all together at one time, it's massive and very, very dangerous!"
Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?! They wiped out 'The New Face of Fear," all three hundred pounders, like they were flyweight rookies! This group is a menace!"
Cornette: "If they mean to cause chaos, they have the goods to do it in spades!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, we'd better take another break to clear the carnage. We'll be back in a few moments."
Regal: "We're back! We're still reeling from that scene before the break. 'OI4K' was together in its full form, as promised, and unleashed a beating on Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe, and Erick Rowan, the likes of which we haven't seen in quite some time. Vanessa Craft attempted to get a word with them during the break."
The scene shifted to backstage, where minutes before, Vanessa Craft tried to run down Solomon Crowe and company as they were leaving.
Craft: "Solomon! Solomon! Can I get a word?"
Solomon Crowe: "Vanessa, actions speak louder than words! You saw what just happened out there! I told you I was bringing everyone together this week! Well, look at the destruction we caused! It's only the beginning! There's plenty more where that came from! Now, we're outta here! Let's go!"
Regal: "Plenty more where that came from?! Wow! I shudder to think of what that means for this roster and beyond. Okay, we have to shift gears, because it's main event time! CEO Jordan Richards is forcing members of 'Allied Powers' to wrestle one another, as CM Punk will challenge stable mate Kota Ibushi for the Cruiserweight Championship! This should be a scintillating match, but it's only happening because Jordan Richards is trying to get back at the group for standing up to him and his henchmen."
Match Four ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship ~ Kota Ibushi vs. CM Punk with AJ Lee
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion = CM Punk by pinfall in 12:22
While both men still lied on the canvas, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out CEO Jordan Richards, who was clapping while holding a microphone under his arm.
Jordan Richards: "Bravo, bravo, bravo! What a match, huh?! Congratulations Mr. Punk on humbling your teammate and friend Kota Ibushi. I knew that when the bell rang, the friendship would go right out the window! You see, Punk, you may have all these people fooled, but you don't fool me! CM Punk has always been and always will be out for CM Punk! You proved it by winning the title your friend just captured a few weeks back! You could have laid down for him out of professional courtesy, but that's not the CM Punk way! So, since you've shown your true colors to the world, I'm going to give you what you deserve. I am officially declaring this match is now tow-out-of-three falls! So, Kota is still the champion and the match continues! Ring the bell!"
Punk grabbed a microphone and retorted, "Not a chance! We didn't want to be in this match in the first place! You're just trying to pit 'Allied Powers' against each other to help your group beat us! It's not going to happen! I forfeit the rest of the match!"
The referee rang the bell and declared Ibushi the winner and still champion.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion = Kota Ibushi by forfeit in a total match time of 13:01
Richards: "So, basically you're telling Kota that he's not worth your time and that he couldn't beat you anyway, so you're just quitting the match! Cool. Message received. But, you're not done yet, like it or not. Get them, boys!"
Just then, "The Richards Collective" came from behind Punk and Ibushi, attacking them in vicious fashion. WALTER, Braun Strowman, and Alexa Bliss ran to the ring to try and even the odds. With Punk And Ibushi already weakened, "Allied Powers" were overcome. Suddenly, Matt Riddle ran down to the ring to a thunderous cheer and began to help the heroes clean house. He then set his sights on Nick Aldis, who had duped him last week. After "The Richards Collective" had been dispatched, Punk not only engaged in a fist bump with Riddle (as did the rest of the group), Punk then motioned to Riddle and the rest of the faction that Matt join them. Riddle thought for a moment, then smiled and let out a loud, "Bro!" The group then raised their fists, touching them all together in center ring in a show of solidarity.
Regal: "So, it looks like Matt Riddle has just joined 'Allied Powers!' That's huge! This war has just taken another turn! Fans, we're all out of time for tonight. Please join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, don't forget to log onto www.nwashowtime.com to see After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following our broadcast! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley could not contain her excitement at the prospect of Matt Riddle joining "Allied Powers." "It's like the NBA All-Star game with these two factions!" Kelley was correct, as some of the biggest names in the sport represent both groups. NWA: Show Time's main event scene will be dominated by them, if the groups survive the impending war. "Will there be a last group standing? Will there even be a last man standing when all is said and done?" With that, Kelley signed off.
