William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, we're a week removed from NWA SuperBrawl and the Crockett Cup! What an eventful weekend that was!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?! You hit the nail on the head, William! Brock Lesnar and WALTER literally tore the house down at SuperBrawl and I guess congratulations are in order for our broadcast colleague Jim Cornette and 'The Revival!'"
Jim Cornette: "You guess?! Ha! You're dang right congratulations are in order! I'm happier than a pig in slop! 'The Revival' proved once again that they are the finest tag team roaming planet earth and I personally am one hundred thousand dollars richer after them winning the Crockett Cup! I told you it would happen and it did! Now, we have bigger fish to fry!"
Regal: "What is that supposed to mean?"
Cornette: "All in good time, gentlemen. All in good time!"
Regal: "Well, on with the program then. As Mauro pointed out, Brock Lesnar and WALTER had an absolutely vicious match for the Heavyweight Championship at SuperBrawl that ended in a double countout after the stage set was pulled down on top of them. Amazingly, both men declined medical treatment afterward and left under their own power. We've been told that both men will be here tonight and we're bracing for a confrontation. We also have three big matches signed! Taichi Ishikori will battle Adrian Neville in Cruiserweight action! Killer Kross will take on his toughest test to date in Chad Gable! In our big main event, 'Team Little Big' and Straight Edge Superstar will do battle with members of 'The Richards Collective!' It should be a fantastic night! Let's get to it!"
Match One ~ "The Man Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville with Solomon Crowe & Hangman Page vs. Taichi Ishikori with Ofune & Abe Miho
Neville was ultra aggressive and totally outclassed Taichi in this one. His ladies at ringside offered no real help, as Crowe and Page essentially ran them off. In the end, "Red Arrow" did Taichi in.
Winner = Adrian Neville by pinfall in 9:09
Regal: "An impressive win for Adrian Neville!"
Ranallo: "Maybe that will get a smile out of the self professed bas****!"
Cornette: "I doubt it! He has the perpetual face of a woman who's sucked on a lemon too long!"
Regal: "Fans, let's take a break. When we return, we'll have Killer Kross and Chad Gable in what promises to be a classic!"
Regal: "We're back, but it seems we've lost Jim Cornette. He's taken off to the back. We dispatched a camera man to follow him."
The scene shifted to backstage, as Cornette headed for the offices of CEO Jordan Richards. Cornette knocked and went in immediately to find Richards conferring with Commissioner Ric Flair.
Jordan Richards: "Jim, what are you doing here?! You're supposed to be on commentary right now!"
Cornette: "I know, but this couldn't wait! I had to come and see you while it was fresh on my mind. Sorry to interrupt you and Ric."
Ric Flair: "Well, you did interrupt us, Jim. You and I go back a long way, but we still have protocols."
Cornette: "I know and I apologize again. I won't take up much of your time."
Richards: "What can we do for you?"
Cornette: "Well, I figured that, since my guys beat your guys for the Crockett Cup that we should be in line for a Tag Team Championship match."
Richards: "You do realize that they already own the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship, or did you forget?"
Cornette: "Of course I know that, but we beat the champions, which should make us number one contenders. They've held the Tag Team Titles a couple of times. They'd like to get them back."
Richards: "So, it's a forgone conclusion that 'The Revival' would win against 'Glorious Outlaws?!' Come on, now! Roode and Storm are multi-time World Tag Team Champions! Listen, I know you don't like your boys playing second fiddle. But, for their sake, they need to stay in their lane and keep defending the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles and be satisfied with that. One fluke victory does not make them better than Roode and Storm. It's not going to happen."
Cornette: "Stay in our lane?! Fluke victory?! My guys pinned your guys in the middle of the ring! The reason you want us playing second fiddle to you is because you know 'The Revival' would win a title match and would take those belt from your group! It's protective booking and you know it! We deserve a chance!"
Flair: "All right, Jim. You better calm down before you say something you're going to regret. Let this pipe dream go and head back to commentary."
Cornette: "Pipe dream, huh?! Okay, I see how it's going to be! Fine! I'll be a good little soldier for now. But, you haven't heard the last of it!"
Cornette stormed off. Richards did not look pleased. Flair simply shook his head.
Regal: "Well, that didn't go as planned."
Ranallo: "But, you have to hand it to Jim Cornette! He showed no fear in asking for that match!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, let's go to the ring!"
Match Two ~ Killer Kross with Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Chad Gable with Shelton Benjamin
This was a technically sound match if we've ever seen one. Both men are astute tacticians. They traded hold for hold in the early stages of the match. Kross took over with methodical dissection of Gable. Chad fought back and showed resilience. In the end, it wasn't enough. Gabel eventually succumbed to the "Kross Jacket."
Winner = Killer Kross by submission in 13:43
Regal: "Another destruction performance from Killer Kross!"
Ranallo: "He is an imposing physical specimen! He just took out an Olympic caliber athlete in Chad Gable!"
Cornette: "Killer Kross strikes fear in the hearts of all who stand in his path!"
Regal: "The combination of beauty and brawn are undeniable with 'Killer Smoke Show!' Fans, we'll take another break. Our main event six-person match is next!"
Regal: "We're back! It's time for the main event! Fans, this match promises to shake the rafters! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Three ~ "The Richards Collective" ("The Beast" Brock Lesnar, The Rock, & Ricochet with Eve Torres and AJ Lee) vs. "Team Little Big" ("The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman & "The Goddess" Alexa Bliss) and Straight Edge Superstar
Lesnar was a replacement for Bobby Roode, who originally was scheduled. Brock stopped him as the team was about to make its entrance and demanded to take his spot, iterating, "I'm in the mood to take somebody to 'Suplex City!'" Roode relented and wished the team well. Conversely, Straight Edge Superstar stood outside the ring and awaited Braun and Alexa. Just as they came through the curtain, Braun was assaulted by Brian Cage from NWA: Stars & Stripes. Cage nailed the "Drill Claw" on the steel entrance ramp, taking Braun out of the match. SES and Bliss checked on Strowman, who was motionless. Trainers ran out and began administering medical attention to Strowman. The Rock demanded that the referee ring the bell and begin his count for a forfeit. Strowman was loaded onto a stretcher and taken backstage. The referee reached the count of eight before SES ran and slid into the ring. Bliss followed him down and climbed onto her designated corner of the apron. SES took punishment from all three opponents for several minutes before this video played on the tron:
The place went bananas when WALTER came walking down the ramp. He stalked to ringside and never took his eyes off Lesnar, who was on the apron screaming at him to get into the ring. WALTER climbed onto the apron beside Bliss, who was gob smacked and slack jawed. WALTER hung his long arm over the rope and beckoned SES for a tag. Finally, Superstar escaped the clutches of Ricochet and rolled over for the tag. The arena resounded with a massive cheer when WALTER stepped through the ropes. Ricochet backed up with wide eyes. Ricochet went for a "Dropkick," and then another. They staggered WALTER, but then he unleashed a "Running Dropkick" that sent Ricochet flying into the turnbuckle with such force that he bounced almost to mid-ring. WALTER then hit a thunderous chop that reverberated throughout the arena. He threw Ricochet to his corner and demanded that Brock tag in. Lesnar obliged and the fans went crazy, immediately chanting, "This is awesome!" WALTER and Brock went nose to nose before engaging in a strike battle. WALTER ended it with a chop that ripped the flesh off Lesnar's chest. The match broke down into a melee. Superstar and Bliss hit stereo dives through the ropes to take out Brock and Rock, leaving Ricochet alone with WALTER. A "Powerbomb" later and WALTER had won the match for his team.
Winners = WALTER, Straight Edge Superstar, & Alexa Bliss by pinfall in 20:08
WALTER stood in center ring after having his hand raised and glared at Lesnar on the outside.
Regal: "WALTER showed up and the entire complexion of the match changed!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia! WALTER is the Austrian juggernaut and he just made another statement to Brock Lesnar!"
Cornette: "WALTER is a mass of humanity and he just showed the world once again how dangerous he is!"
Regal: "Fans, we're out of time. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And be sure to tune into After Buzz with Cathy Kelley on www.nwashowtime.com immediately following our broadcast! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley, like the fans, demanded a second match between behemoths Brock Lesnar and WALTER. She ended the episode with, "I don't care if it's for the title or not! Just get these two into the ring for another fight!" With that, she signed off.
