Cornette's review of the show was interesting, and I found myself agreeing with a lot of it.
He disliked a lot of stuff, but did give praise to some stuff.
He hated the Pre-Show battle royal, I didn't even see that, but based on the description I would've hated it, and it's probably best I didn't see it.
The 1st match he said was a bit fast paced, but overall was professionally done, and a good match. I thought it was alright so he was nicer to that one than I would've been.
I agree with him completely on the Women's Fatal 4 way, that Awesome Kong's surprise entrance, and her being over so much the way she was, she should've just smashed the other girls, and been put over big time as a monster. The one girl "Smiley Kiley" is clearly just a Bailey ripoff, he and his co-host just kept saying "Bootleg Bailey" lol. Which I'm sure we all thought the second we saw her, because I mean it's obvious. For that matter the girl "Allie" who was calling her match from TNA was a Bailey ripoff as well.
Some of his complaints I can't say I agree with, He got all worked up about Excalibur wearing a mask, and therefore not looking like a pro as a commentator, I don't think anybody else really cares. He and his co-host hated the 3rd guy Alex whatever, but I think that was the general consensus. Dude was like a piss poor imitation of Mauro Ranallo.
I skipped some of the in-between matches, but yeah long story short...he loved the Cody Rhodes vs Dustin Rhodes match, and he praised MJF who he said was able to shine, and make himself noticed even in the fiasco of the pre-show battle royal.
That's the gist of it.
More bad than good, and he was of course thoroughly disgusted at the presence of Chuck Taylor and Kenny Omega, I disagree with him on his take on Omega who has come a long way, and Jim just won't let go of the shit he dislikes about him, but I'm not impressed by Chuck Taylor, and he's still got a clownish gimmick.
