William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, we're inching closer to Starrcade! Tonight, we could have another match determined if our main event goes a particular way!"
Mauro Ranallo: "That's right! 'Team Little Big' will compete in a 'No Disqualification Mixed Tag Team' match against Adam Cole and Kamilla Kaine! If Cole and Kain win, Adam gets a return World Championship match at Starrcade!"
Jim Cornette: "With Kamilla stealing the World Championship belt last week and attacking Alexa Bliss, I'd say 'Team Little Big' is motivated by revenge this week!"
Regal: "Indeed they are, Jim! Fans, we're going to start this night off with what promises to be a tantalizing opener, as Ricochet is set to defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship against a resurgent Zack Sabre, Jr. and his new manager Joanna Rose! Yes, you heard me right! Ricochet has regained the Mid-Atlantic Championship after a very controversial match in Columbia, South Carolina, this past Saturday. But, there is no rest for the weary, as he will defend it right now! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ "The One & Only" Ricochet with AJ Lee vs. Zack Sabre, Jr. with Joanna Rose
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Ricochet by pinfall in 23:50
Regal: "Oh my! What a match! Ricochet pulled out the win against a very game Zack Sabre, Jr.!"
Ranallo: "Sabre came within an eyelash of winning gold once again!"
Cornette: "I'll have to give it to both men! Excellent match!"
Regal: "Fans, we need to take a break. We'll be back with more action in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back! Fans, we've been handed a note that says Commissioner Flair has signed a special 'Eight-Man Tag Team' match for next week. 'Camp Cornette' will take on 'The Richards Collective' in retaliation from the attack in last week's Tag Team Championship match!"
Cornette: "What! I thought Ric Flair and I were friends! We go back over thirty years and he's trying to sabotage 'Camp Cornette?!' We'll see about that!"
Cornette promptly left the commentary booth and headed toward the back.
Regal: "Well, Jim Cornette's tune certainly changed in a hurry."
Suddenly, this unexpected theme played on the tron:
Regal: "What is Andrade 'Cien' Almas doing here?!"
Almas came out with his manager Zelina Vega on the microphone.
Zelina Vega: "Now, that's how you make an entrance! Allow me to introduce to you 'El Idolo,' Andrade 'Cien' Almas! He is the finest Latin American star in the world! We have shown the west coast what Andrade is capable of. Now, it's time to show the east coast and the rest of the world! NWA: All-Zone Championship Wrestling now has a talent exchange agreement in place with NWA: Show Time, and we are the center pieces of it! But, we did not come alone..."
Just then, this entrance video played:
Regal: "Tommaso Ciampa?!"
Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?!"
Tommaso Ciampa: "Hello, North Carolina. The greatest sports entertainer of all time is here with 'El Idolo' and Zelina Vega to break things, namely all of the so called superstars in NWA: Show Time. We're outsiders, so we don't have to listen to your authorities and we don't have to play by your rules. In fact, we've just changed the game. And, no one will know when we'll strike. But, I promise you all one thing: it'll be when everyone least expects it. Consider yourselves warned."
The three stood tall on the entrance and raised one another's arms in triumph.
Regal: "Well then. To say we didn't expect that would be the understatement of the year!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia! Andrade 'Cien' Almas, Zelina Vega, and Tommaso Ciampa just showed up out of nowhere and made their intentions known! An invasion is taking place!"
Regal: "Fans, let's take another break and gather ourselves. We'll be back in just a moment."
As the program returned from commercial, the scene was outside Commissioner Ric Flair's office, where he was in a discussion with Jim Cornette.
Cornette: "Ric, you and I have known each other for over three decades! How can you do this to us?!"
Ric Flair: "Do this to you?! What about what 'Camp Cornette' did to Roode and Storm last week?!"
Cornette: "Ric, I'm sorry! That was just collateral damage! My guys got a little carried away! They were just trying to make a statement...like you and 'The Four Horsemen' used to do!"
Flair: "Yeah, and I seem to remember you and 'The Midnight Express' sticking your nose in 'Horsemen' business back in nineteen eighty-eight! We were never the same after that! So, I don't want to hear it, Jim! The match is on for next week! You'd better get your boys prepared!"
Flair slammed his office door as Cornette pleaded with him, to no avail.
Regal: "We're back from the break. It looks like Jim Cornette's friendship with Ric Flair doesn't run as deep as he thought. Fans, it's time for our main event! This match truly has World Championship implications! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Two ~ "No Disquaification Mixed Tag Team" match ~ "Team Little Big" ("The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman & "The Goddess" Alexa Bliss) vs. Adam Cole & Kamilla Kaine with Britt Baker
Kaine walked toward the ring mocking Strowman with one of his signature t-shirts on.
Bliss was fuming. Cole came to the ring wearing the NWA World Heavyweight Championship title belt, which he promptly handed to Baker before Strowman could get to him. The match started with a bang. Strowman slung Cole out of the ring, while Bliss hit a "Thesz Press" on Kaine and they began thrashing about in center ring. Strowman gave chase to Cole, who grabbed Baker and headed toward the back. Kaine and Bliss went back-and-forth in the ring during this time. Kaine eventually overpowered Bliss and took the advantage for several minutes. Strowman finally emerged from the entrance ramp with a lifeless Cole draped over his shoulder, all while carrying the NWA World Championship. Baker was following distantly behind, yelling at Strowman to drop her man. Braun smiled and obliged, dumping Cole into his corner. Strowman placed the NWA World Championship on the timekeeper's table and went back to his corner, where he beckoned a weak Bliss to give him a tag. Alexa finally turned the tables on Kaine, getting some breathing room and lunging at Strowman, barely connecting enough to make the tag. The arena exploded as Strowman stepped over the top rope. Cole begged off, not wanting to engage Strowman any further. Kaine stepped up to Braun, who demanded she back away. Kaine threw a forearm into Braun's face. This incensed Strowman. He picked Kaine up and delivered a "Bodyslam." He then flipped Cole over the top rope and went after him. Kaine recovered and delivered a low blow to Strowman, which doubled him over. Cole then stuck with his "Last Shot." That sent Braun falling to the outside. Bliss entered the ring and went charging at Kaine. Cole intercepted Alexa by the hair. Bliss kicked Cole off of her, only to turn around into a vicious "Spear" from Kaine that got the pin.
Winners = Adam Cole & Kamilla Kaine by pinfall in 22:04
Britt Baker ran and grabbed the NWA Championship off the timekeeper's table as she, Cole, and Kaine celebrated up the ramp.
Regal: "Adam Cole and Kamilla Kaine get the win after a controversial finish that saw the genders engage one another!"
Ranallo: "That was frenetic action throughout! The important note is that Adam Cole now will face Braun Strowman for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Starrcade!"
Cornette: "It was 'No DQ,' so everything that happened was completely legal and Adam Cole is going to Starrcade!"
Regal: "What an episode we've had tonight! Fans, please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, log onto www.nwashowtime.com right now to catch After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following this broadcast! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley had two topics of interest. First, she discussed the climactic ending to the episode and what it means for Starrcade. Kelley also discussed the appearances of Andrade "Cien" Almas, Zelina Vega, and Tommaso Ciampa, and what that could mean for NWA: Show Time. Kelley surmised that Almas' skill, coupled with Ciampa's unhinged aggression and Vega's mind, could "create havoc in our world." With that, Kelley signed off.
