William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, we're a couple of weeks away from Halloween Havoc, and the NWA: Show Time representative match was set on last week's broadcast in controversial fashion as Brock Lesnar won a 'Gauntlet' match for the right to face Bray Wyatt in a 'House of Horrors' match at the pay-per-view. Although, it seemed that Lesnar never really was scheduled for the 'Gauntlet,' but was a last-minute substitution after Commissioner Flair's handpicked competitor, Bobby Roode, was upset."
Mauro Ranallo: "Yes, it seemed highway robbery was the theme of the day last Tuesday. Our broadcast colleague over here, Jim Cornette, stuck his nose, or rather his tennis racket, where it didn't belong and ensured that 'The Revival' defeated 'War Machine' for the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship!"
Jim Cornette: "Aww, hogwash! I was merely defending myself from those barbarians! They got what was coming to them and my guys got some gold back around their waists!"
Regal: "Nevertheless, those decisions stand and here we are tonight. Speaking of tonight, we have a big time main event, as Ricochet will defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship against Kota Ibushi! Also, well have a four-way tag team match to determine Roode and Storm's next challengers! But, our first match will see Solomon Crowe tangle with Zack Sabre, Jr.! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ Zack Sabre, Jr. with Joanna Rose vs. Solomon Crowe with Hangman Page
Winner = Zack Sabre, Jr. by submission in 12:05
Regal: "Great win by Zack Sabre, Jr., who exhibited a real mean streak!"
Ranallo: "It looks like Joanna Rose is paying dividends already for 'Euro Trash!'"
Cornette: "She's proving that she's more than just eye candy! That's for sure!"
Regal: "Indeed. Let's take a break. We'll be back with tag team action in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back! Before we go to the ring, 'SoCal' Val and Vanessa Craft have separate interviews. Let's go to Valerie Wyndham now."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with 'Killer Elite Squad,' which is about to take part in a four-way match to determine new number one contenders to new Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode and James Storm. Gentlemen, what are your thoughts heading into this all important match?"
Davey Boy Smith, Jr.: "We prepared for this match just like any other. Our number one goal is to destroy every team that is put before us."
Lance Hoyt: "The fact that a Tag Team Title shot is on the line makes the destruction more satisfying. We've been there twice before. We know what it takes to win these belts. We'll do it for the third time after we take out these other three teams!"
Wyndham: "These are not just three ordinary teams. You're facing the Usos, 'War Machine,' and Gable and Benjamin. This won't be a cakewalk."
Smith: "That's exactly what it'll be! We're the most destructive force in pro wrestling! Tonight, we prove it!"
Wyndham: "William, back to you."
Regal: "Thank you, Val. Strong words from a strong team. Vanessa Craft is with the Usos. Let's hear from them and their legendary advisor Scott Hall."
Vanessa Craft: "I am here with Jimmy and Jey Uso, along with their manager 'The Bad Guy' Scott Hall. You gentlemen will be in a four-way match to determine new number one contenders to the Tag Team Championship. You'll be in there against three formidable teams. How have you prepared for this match?"
Jimmy Uso: "Vanessa, we've been preparing for moments like this since day one! No other team has the history we do! We came out da womb together! We busting heads together! We winning titles together! We've won these titles before! We about to do it again!"
Jey Uso: "And, these other three teams, they about to do some hard time in the Uso Penitentiary!"
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! These brothers are about to lay the beat down on those three teams. It's gonna be one more for the bad guys."
Craft: "William, back to you."
Regal: "Everyone is claiming victory, but only one team can walk out with its hands raised. Let's see who it will be!"
Match Two ~ "Four-Way Number One Contender's" match ~ Jimmy & Jey Uso with "The Bad Guy" Scott Hall vs. "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) vs. "Killer Elite Squad" (Davey Boy Smith, Jr. & Lance Hoyt) vs. "Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable with "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle
This resembled a war scene from a motion picture. Their were bodies strewn everywhere by the end of it. Gable "German Suplexed" every one of his opponents into oblivion. Hanson hit the "Spinkick of Doom" on both Usos and Hoyt. The ending sequence came after Benjamin took out "War Machine" and "Killer elite Squad" with a "Somersault Plancha" from the ring to the floor. All five men were laid out. This left Gable to defend against both Usos. Gable went for a "German Suplex" on Jimmy, but was "Super Kicked" in the back of the head by Jey. The brothers then hit a "Double Superkick" followed by the "Superfly Leap" to pick up the victory.
Winners = The Usos by pinfall in 18:43
Regal: "The Usos have done it! They've become number one contenders once again! One of the finest pure tag teams in the world will face one of the great tag teams of the last decade for the championship sometime very soon!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia, what action in that match!"
Cornette: "It was passable, but 'The Insurgence' should have been there! I feel cheated!"
Regal: "Now you know how all the teams you face feel, Jim. Cheated."
Cornette: "Shut up, Billy!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll take another short break. Our main event is next! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back and it's main event time! Ricochet puts the Mid-Atlantic Championship up against a dynamic rival in Kota Ibushi. These are two of the finest wrestlers anywhere in the world, and they should put on a fantastic show! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ "The One & Only" Ricochet with AJ Lee vs. Kota Ibushi
Before the match could begin, Commissioner Ric Flair came out and removed the title match stipulation, citing the fact that Ibushi wrestles as a Cruiserweight and the Mid-Atlantic Championship is technically a Heavyweight Title. The crowd booed vociferously, but Ibushi nodded that he wanted to continue the match.
Winner = Kota Ibushi by pinfall in 26:09 (Ricochet retains)
Regal: "What a win for Kota Ibushi, who should be the Mid-Atlantic Champion right now!"
Ranallo: "Once again, Commissioner Flair stacked the deck, guaranteeing that his charge would keep the title no matter what!"
Cornette: "Even I can't spin that one. Ric Flair saved ricochet's title reign. I'll admit it."
Regal: "Fans, regardless of whether or not the title was on the line, Kota Ibushi proved why he's considered one of the best pound-for-pound stars in the world and he has to be the number one contender at this point! Commissioner Flair can't deny that victory! Fans, that'll do it for us this week. Please join us again next Tuesday for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, don't forget to log onto www.nwashowtime.com to catch After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following our broadcast! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley immediately launched into a soliloquy about how this was another instance where "The Richards Collective" was protected by higher ups and that it's not a true competition with them because they always receive preferential treatment. At this point, CEO Jordan Richards and Commissioner Flair walked in, surprising a stunned Kelley.
Jordan Richards: "Now Cathy, let me start by saying that I like you. I like you work. I like your spunk. But, you've had some very disparaging things to say about me and about my 'Collective' recently. Your comments have bordered on slander. Now, do you enjoy hosting this show every week?"
Cathy Kelley: "Yes sir, I do."
Richards: "Then, if you wish to keep hosting this show every week or any other show you're a part of, I suggest you tone it down when referring to me, Commissioner Flair, or any member of 'The Richards Collective.' Now, do I make myself clear?"
Kelley: "Crystal."
Richards: "Good girl. Carry on." (The two walked off set)
Kelley: "Ladies and gentlemen, it's been my pleasure to have CEO Jordan Richards and Commissioner Ric Flair on the program this week. As we get closer to Halloween Havoc, the action gets hotter. Join us next week for more. Thanks, guys! Goodnight from After Buzz."
