William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Gents, we have a very interesting episode tonight."
Mauro Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?! It's going to be downright tantalizing!"
Jim Cornette: "I think it's all baloney!"
Regal: "Nevertheless Jim, tonight we'll feature four 'Mixed Tag Team' matches! This is a first for us! Shotzi Blakkhartt and Jay Lethal will go against Taichi Ishikari and Ofune! Taya and Johnny Mundo will do battle with Mikael Judas and Skyler Moon! Bray Wyatt and Maria Kanellis will wrestle Bobby Roode and Maryse Ouellet! And, in our main event, Adam Cole and Britt Baker with tangle with 'Team Little Big!' It's going to be an action-packed hour, so let's get to it!"
Match One ~ "House of Truth" (Jay Lethal & Shotzi Blakkhartt with Truth Martini & "Hoopla Hotties" {Zahra & Dana Adiva}) vs. "Sanhōkō (Three-Way)" (Taichi Ishikari & Ofune with Miho Abe)
Shotzi was uber aggressive against Ofune, who is tough in her own right. The boys put on a great match as well. Lethal and Taichi both have unique offenses. In the end, Ofune distracted Lethal long enough for Taichi to hit his "Black Mephisto" finisher as Shotzi was taking Ofune out with a "Suicide Dive."
Winners = "Sanhōkō" by pinfall in 9:48
Regal: "What a great first match!"
Ranallo: "Those four lit it up for ten minutes!"
Cornette: "I'm opposed to this entire episode of buffoonery!"
Regal: "Nevertheless, the show must go on as they say. Fans, we'll take a break and be back with more exciting action in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back! Our new interviewer Vanessa Craft is on hand to get a quick word from 'Euro Trash' and their new manager Joanna Rose."
Vanessa Craft: "I'm here with 'Euro Trash,' which is now represented by Joanna Rose, a former interviewer for NWA: Show Time."
Joanna Rose: "Let me stop you right there, Vanessa. I was always more than just an interviewer. I am a brilliant mind and a savvy businesswoman. I floundered in the role I was given and took matters into my own hands. Now, I represent the best set of Cruiserweights in the world. Soon enough, they'll be back to the top of the division! 'British Strong Style' had better watch their backs, because we're coming for them! That's all you need to know for now, rookie!"
Craft: "Okay, back to you, William."
Regal: "Wow! Joanna Rose has turned icy since taking the reigns of 'Euro Trash,' and she' s laid down the gauntlet to reigning Cruiserweight Champions 'British Strong Style!'"
Ranallo: "Joanna Rose may be just what the doctor ordered for 'Euro Trash' to get back on track!"
Cornette: "She's good looking and seems to have a mean streak. She may do well with Zac, Marty, and Aleister. But, she'll never be Jim Cornette."
Regal: "Indeed. Thank goodness there's only one of you, Jim. Fans, let's go back to the ring for more action!"
Match Two ~ "Worldwide Underground" (Johnny Mundo & Taya) vs. "The New Church" ("Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas & "Priestess" Skyler Moon with The Sinister Minister)
The men shined in this one. Judas is big and strong. Mundo is insanely quick and athletic. They provided a stark contrast. Taya plays the power game well herself. Moon is allusive in the ring. It made for a weird dichotomy. Ultimately, Moon fell victim to "Road to Valhalla."
Winners = "Worldwide Underground" by pinfall in 11:39
Regal: "Taya dominated Skyler Moon en route to the victory for her team!"
Ranallo: "It's a good thing, because big Mikael Judas is a tough out!"
Cornette: "If it were left up to Johnny Mundo, I don't know if he could have beaten Mikael Judas!"
Regal: "That's the thing about these matches, the dynamic is unpredictable! Let's take another break and be back with more action in just a moment!"
When the episode returned to air, the scene was "The Richards Collective" locker room area.
Bobby Roode: "What do you mean she's under the weather?!"
Jordan Richards: "Maryse is just not feeling well. We think she may have the flu, so I sent her home. But, don't worry Bobby, I have a suitable replacement for you. In fact, she's an angel. Trust me."
Regal: "Well then, it looks like Maryse is out and someone else will tag with Bobby Roode. Let's find out who."
Match Three ~ "The Richards Collective" ("Glorious" Bobby Roode & a mystery partner) vs. "The New Face of Fear" ("Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt & "Spirit of Abigail" Maria Kanellis)
Wyatt and Kanellis who introduced first. They came out to their normal ominous music and "fireflies." Roode came out to his glorious entrance and awaited his partner. Then, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out CEO Jordan Richards.
Jordan Richards: "Bobby, I told you I'd have a suitable partner for you and that she was an angel. Well my friend, I'm a man of my word. Here she is!"
Just then, this woman appeared with angel wings adorning her:
Regal: "Oh my! It's the 'Empress of the Empire' Karlee Perez!"
Ranallo: "From the look on his face, Bobby Roode is not disappointed!"
Cornette: "I don't think anyone is disappointed with the outfit she's wearing!"
The match began with Roode and Wyatt in a heated, yet scientific exchange. Neither man got the better of it, so they tagged the ladies in. Kanellis is nearly rabid since enveloping the "Abigail" spirit. Perez is cool and calculated. She's methodical and sadistic. This made for an interesting and entertaining sequence. Wyatt maintained the advantage in the end, but was thwarted in his attempts to pin Roode. The ladies ended the match in the ring. Kanellis had things going her way and charged at Perez in the corner. Maria hammered at Karlee, who covered up and ducked. Perez then executed a "Double Leg Takedown" for a pinning combination. She placed her feet on the middle turnbuckle for leverage as the referee continued to count unaware. Maria squirmed, but could not break up the illegal pin attempt.
Winners = Bobby Roode & Karlee Perez by pinfall in 14:12
Regal: "Karlee Perez stole that one for her team!"
Ranallo: "Highway robbery!"
Cornette: "If the ref didn't see it, it didn't happen!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll be back with our main event after the break!"
Regal: "We're back and it's time to see the 'Mixed Match Challenge' winners 'Team Little Big' in action against Adam Cole and Britt Baker! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Four ~ "The Richards Collective" (Adam Cole & Britt Baker) vs. "Team Little Big" ("The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman & "The Goddess" Alexa Bliss)
Adam Cole challenged Braun Strowman before the match began, demanding that, if his team won, Strowman would grant him and NWA World Heavyweight Championship opportunity. Braun obliged. The match itself was phenomenal, with the women getting plenty of action due to Cole not wanting to face off against Strowman one-on-one very often, if at all. Consequently, Bliss took several minutes of punishment from Baker with a little help from Cole to keep Alexa in their half of the ring. Braun chomped at the bit from ringside to tag his partner out, but Baker kept her at bay. Finally, Bliss hit a desperation "Clothesline" to take Baker down. She inched her way toward her corner with Strowman screaming for her to make the tag. Baker caught Bliss by the foot once again, but Alexa uncorked a one-legged "Dropkick" that sent Britt flying and catapulted Alexa to Braun. Strowman came in to a huge roar from the crowd. He cleaned house of Cole, even picking Baker up overhead and throwing her on top of Cole, who had retreated to the floor. The end came after Cole went for a "Flying Body Press," only to be caught by Strowman, who then pancaked Cole with his signature "Running Powerslam."
Winners = "Team Little Big" by pinfall in 17:50
Regal: "What a match! That ending sequence was frenetic!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia, the World Champion looked every bit as much against Adam Cole!"
Cornette: "That was an impressive showing by 'Team Little Big.' Alexa proved her toughness in that one."
Regal: "Fans, what a night we've had! Unfortunately, we're all out of time. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, don't forget to log onto www.nwashowtime.com to catch After Buzz with Cathy Kelley! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley could not say enough good things about the night. She mainly talked about the ongoing revolution in women's wrestling that has brought us to the point we're at now, including a woman holding a man's championship in NWA: Show Time, plus the fact that four 'Mixed Tag Team" matches occurred on one program. Kelley also talked about the idea that Shotzi Blakkhartt is now considered a wrestling member of "House of Truth" and not just a valet. Ofune wrestles nearly as much as her husband Taichi Ishikari. The likes of Karlee Perez, Britt Baker, and Maria Kanellis were all featured in roles that weren't as valets. Kelley than celebrated the fact that she, as a woman, hosts her own wrestling program seen by millions of eyes each week. With that, Kelley signed off.
