William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Gents, the wrestling world is still buzzing about the debut of 'Cowboy' James Storm last week and the reunion of 'Beer Money' with Bobby Roode!"
Mauro Ranallo: "It looks like the 'Cowboy' rides again with his partner in crime!"
Jim Cornette: "Yeah, yeah! It was really touching! The fact of the matter is that this just gives 'The Revival' one more team to beat in the deepest tag team division of the NWA!"
Regal: "Perhaps so. We'll see that Tag Team Championship match next week in fact! But tonight, we have plenty of action! Zack Sabre, Jr. will challenge Pete Dunne for the Cruiserweight Championship in a huge rematch! Also on the card, 'Sons of Steel' will face Jim Cornette's 'Insurgence!'"
Cornette: "And, this is where we end those ungrateful pieces of trash!"
Regal: "We'll see about that. In our main event, Adam Cole will defend the Heavyweight Championship against Bray Wyatt in a 'Last Man Standing' match! Let's go to the ring for our first exciting match-up!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship ~ "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne vs. Zack Sabre, Jr.
This was a grinding master class in European excellence. Both men sought to wear down the other with joint manipulation and other forms of torturous submissions. The crowd ate up the hard-hitting nature of their strikes. Dunne tweaked his knee during the match and Sabre took advantage, like a shark smelling blood in the water. He worked on Dunne's knee, finally locking in a "Kneebar." Dunne was nearly to the point of tapping out before desperately grabbing the bottom rope for the break. Sabre was incensed and almost got himself disqualified for refusing to break at the five-count. Dunne recovered while Zack argued with the referee. Sabre approached Dunne and was caught with a kick to the gut. Dunne then quickly executed "The Bitter End" for the pin.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion = Pete Dunne by pinfall in 17:22
Regal: "Well done, Pete! Another successful title defense!"
Ranallo: "Pete Dunne weathered the submission storm from Zack Sabre, Jr. to come out on top!"
Cornette: "Pete Dunne's toughness impressed me tonight!"
Regal: "Indeed! Zack Sabre is one of the most technically proficient submission artists in the sport! But, Pete Dunne fought through it to come away with a victory! Fans, we need to take a break. We'll be back with tag team action next!"
Regal: "We're back! We've given Jim Cornette his leave since the tag team match is up next. He is backstage with 'SoCal' Val and his team 'The Insurgence.' Let's hear comments from them."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with 'The Insurgence' and manager Jim Cornette. They'll be taking on 'Sons of Steel' next. Since casting 'Sons of Steel' out of 'Camp Cornette,' it seems you guys have been on a mission to take them out altogether."
Cornette: "You're d*** right we wanna take Boomer Payne and Brice Anthony out! They disrespected me and they disrespected 'Camp Cornette!' we made those boys and they bit the hands that feeds them!"
Kevin Steen: "Val, it's not just about teaching 'Sons of Steel' a lesson. It's about putting them out of pro wrestling for good! They crossed a line and they have to pay for it!"
Wyndham: "Isn't it enough that you kicked them out of the group? Why try and end their careers?"
Steen: "Principle, Val. They violated a very basic life principle. Never stab your brothers in the back! They did just that and they are being dealt with because of it! In just a few minutes, you'll be seeing 'Sons of Steel' wrestle their last match!"
Wyndham: "There you have it. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Thanks, Val! Fans, let's go to the ring!"
Match Two ~ "The Insurgence" (Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli) with Jim Cornette vs. "Sons of Steel" (Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony)
Boomer and Brice were on fire to begin the match. They had the fans behind them as Show Time originals. They are out to avenge their unceremonious dismissal from "Camp Cornette" and it showed early on. Boomer got nailed with a double team to start the heat of the contest. He took quite a bit of punishment before making the tag to Brice. Anthony came in and displayed the power he possesses. Anthony knocked both Castagnoli and Steen down several times. Steen was knocked out of the ring. Boomer and Brice set up for "Steel Curtain." Seeing this, Cornette jumped into the ring and struck Payne in the back with his infamous tennis racket. The referee rang the bell immediately.
Winners = "Sons of Steel" by disqualification in 12:36
Regal: "That was a cheap shot if I've ever seen one!"
Ranallo: "Roger Federer would have been impressed with that forehand from Jim Cornette!"
After the match, Steen and Castagnoli hammered away on Payne and Anthony. They were joined very quickly by "The Revival." Quickly, Gunner, Jon Skyler, Jason Justice, and Mike Madden all hit the ring to run off "Camp Cornette." The newly-formed 'Forgotten Sons' clique stood tall as Cornette and company yelled from the floor.
Regal: "It looks like there is strength in numbers! The men who've been left out in the cold by their respective stables now have found common ground with each other!"
Payne and Anthony shook the hands of their newfound allies. They all raised each other's hands in the ring.
Regal: "We'll take another break. When we return, it's 'Last Man Standing' time with the top prize in the company on the line!"
Regal: "we're back and it's time for the one we've waited for all hour! We thought 'War Games' would settle the score between 'The Richards Collective' and 'The New Face of Fear.' Clearly, that wasn't the case. Bray Wyatt earned himself a Heavyweight Championship match and it's been booked with the 'Last Man Standing' stipulation. Commissioner Ric Flair has made a fair decision for once and demanded that neither group appear at ringside any time during the match. This will be a true one-on-one encounter, and it should be violent! Let's get to it!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ "Last Man Standing" match ~ Adam Cole vs. "Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt
This was a hellacious war. Cole and Wyatt unleash insane amounts of punishment on one another. They battled all over the arena. The ringside barricade, steel steps, tables, a ladder, and cabling all were used as weapons. The final sequence too place in the crowd. Cole set up for his "Last Shot" ("Shining Wizard" from behind) on Wyatt. He got tangled with a Security Officer. Cole then shoved the Officer, who shoved him to the floor. The Officer walked away, taking off his cap, sunglasses, and Security personnel jacket to reveal CM Punk. Cole got up and screamed the referee, who could do nothing about the interference in the no disqualification setting. Unbeknownst to Cole, Wyatt had recovered and caught him with a wicked "Sister Abigail" onto the floor. Cole was out. Wyatt himself took some abuse from the floor, but was able to make it to his feet at eight. Cole stumbled, but could not stand before the ten-count was rendered.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Bray Wyatt by countout in 25:08
Regal: "Bray Wyatt has won the Heavyweight Championship from Adam Cole after interference from CM Punk!"
Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?! CM Punk has figured into another match involving 'The Richards Collective' against 'The New Face of Fear!' Is he in cahoots with Bray or does he just hate Jordan Richards' hand picked super group?!"
Cornette: "Who cares why he did it! CM Punk is an ingrate who should be fired for all the trouble he's caused over the years!"
Regal: "CM Punk has been the proverbial thorn in the side of Jordan Richards for quite some time now. And, I can guarantee there will be repercussions to this latest action that has cost Adam Cole the richest prize NWA: Show Time has to offer! Fans, we'll have to see how this plays out on another day. We're out of time. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! Don't forget to log onto www.nwashowtime.com to catch After Buzz with Cathy Kelley! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley discussed the latest shenanigans of CM Punk. She, like the announcers on the program before, agreed that their would be a reckoning for CM Punk after costing Adam Cole the Heavyweight Championship. More importantly, Kelley acknowledged that Bray Wyatt now controls the top championship in the company. She surmised that might mean a "dark and scary day for NWA: Show Time." With that, Kelley signed off.
