We get a shot of an ambulance that Schiavone tells us is going to bring Cobb to the hospital. Wow. What a way to make the Ankle Lock and Hager look dangerous.

MLW World Heavyweight Champion Shane “Swerve” Strickland is interviewed about his title match with Pentagon from last week. He calls the encounter one of his most painful matches. He welcomes the challenge, but doesn’t want to got through that type of match again but happy to still have the MLW World Championship around his waist. When he’s finished, he walks outside and spots Salina de la Renta, who approaches him and is staring daggers at him. Strickland says Salina put this on herself, he didn't want any part of this. Salina challenged him and she seems to have payed for it, so as far as Shane's concerned de la Renta's issue isn't with him. Salina says it was never about her, it was never about Shane, it was about the title, she points to her Red Mist stained suit and says this, this is about her and what's coming to Shane, he's never seen anything like this before. Who is coming. Shane tells Salina to bring whoever she wants, if she puts them in front of Shane then they're going down. Salina tells him to be careful what you wish for.

After a graphic announces that Fred Yehi will face Tom Lawlor next week, we get our next segment. Lawlor and Simon Gotch (Team Filthy) walk into the arena and are approached by an unseen interviewer. The interviewer asks about Lawlor’s match next week and Lawlor says he's been looking around for him all day and couldn't find him him saying he's a little guy, Gotch says he's only yay high so it makes sense. Tom says that's true saying he's been out in the wild and he doesn't know who he is calling him Fred Yeti. Gotch says it French so maybe its Ye-Tay (I'm sure Tony groaned at having to remember that one) and maybe they got him with the Louisiana Purchase

Sami Callihan with a baseball bat. He says unsafe is what he's been hearing alot lately. People say he's unsafe, he says to look at him, he's supposed to be unsafe, he's supposed be violent, he is a walking, talking, living, breathing sociopath. He doesn't care if he offends people, he doesn't care if he hurts their feelings. Look what he did to MVP, look what they did to MVP. It's the same damn thing they're going to do to the entire MLW roster, because they are building an army of like-minded individuals, because they have message and if you don't want to listen then they're going to make you listen. They are professional wrestling, they are what this world needs and they are taking over everything. Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down.

I know the guy before was JT Davidson and he's still there, the other I'm not sure but that kind of looks like the forgotten member of SAnitY Sawyer Fulton (Which would be ironic as Fulton recently revealed that SAnitY was originally going to be Sami Callian/Solomon Crowe's stable it was going to be Crowe, Fulton & Macrus Louis originally) Holy shit that is Sawyer, he's still wearing the SAnitY gear with the name on the pants.

Bocchini mentions Lawlor was fined $20,000.00 for his attack on Jimmy Havoc a few weeks back

Tom Lawlor vs Fred Yehi: they trade flash pins for 1 counts, Lawlor with a Shoulder Block, but Yehi almost turns the cover into a Koji Clutch, which Tom quickly breaks, Yehi stomps the broken arm of Lawlor then grapevines the leg and goes for a flash pin for a 2 count, Fisherman Suplex for a 2 count, Yehi counters a Juji-Gatame into a flash pin for a 2 count, Lawlor with a grounded Abdominal Stretch, but Yehi fights out, Suplex then floats over into a Butterfly Guillotine Choke, but Yehi fights out, Lawlor with a Russian Legsweep then looks to transition into a Heel Hook, but Yehi makes it to the rope, Exploder Suplex for a 2 count, Inverted Neckbreaker for a 2 count, Front Guillotine Choke, but Yehi counters into a slam, Lawlor with a Deadlift German, Yehi reverses a grip and hits a German of his own then a Release Dragon Suplex for a near fall, Muay Thai Knee Strikes then a Powerbomb with a folding pin for a near fall, Lawlor removes the forearm protector and hits him with that loaded Forearm, Yehi's already out, but Lawlor wants a submission and locks in a Rear Naked Choke for the win

Backstage to a photo-shot for Team TBD: Jason Cade is standing front and center and keeps getting in Jimmy Yuta's way, they want Yuta to come in front for the next shot as Cade just laughs "Nah that's not what we do" the photographer asks again just for one pose, Cade responds "That doesn't work for me, I'm out" and walks off as Yuta is visibly frustrated

Leon Scott w/Sami Callihan & Fulton vs MVP: MVP with a Player's Boot then an Exploder Suplex, MVP with a Drive-By Kick when Sami gets in the ring with his bat, MVP ducks a bat shot and he & Sami are going at it and the ref is calling for the bell

Fulton has MVP goozled, but MVP fights him off, Fulton with a Big Boot, Fulton & Scott looked to be holding MVP for Sami to deliver a shot with the bat, but Kotto Brazil wipes him out with a Missile Dropkick, Kotto tries to fight off Scott & Fulton, but the size comes back to haunt him, they hold MVP for Sami to deliver a bat shot to the upper chest then one for Kotto as well, per Tony it appears that Sami's group in MLW are known as: The Death Machines

MVP helps Kotto up

Kaci Lennox standing by with the Champ: "Salina said it wasn't personal between you. It wasn't about you, it wasn't about her, it was about the title. She also said that she had someone for you. Someone that's completely dangerous and someone that you do not know. But you said yes to all of that. Why?"

Strickland: "I'm the World Champion. A leader, a role-model. I've got to set an example for everybody in that locker room. I say no to any of that, then what does that make me? Swerve is confidence. No matter who she brings, I don't care who it is, I'm going to take him down"

Shane walks away and meets a Hitman

Low-Ki: "Mr Strickland. How's it going Champ? You look like you've got a lot on your plate right now. I understand, you're early in your championship reign and now you've just survived Pentagon. Bravo. But understanding that your current level of experience can leave you to make mistakes, poor decisions, but not for lack of effort. You just simply don't know. ACH while warming up runs into Rich Swann, ACH says it's been 4-5 years, it almost feels like he doesn't know Swann. They talk about facing each other and possibly teaming up which ACH likes

Episode 9: Pentagon Jr & Rey Fenix vs The World

We open the show with Col Parker going over Tat Team strategy with The Dirty Blondes: he says they already took care of Cade & Yuta once before, they'll just make double business out of them this time, then says they'll have to watch out for the lucha libre boys as they're fliers. He asks one of the blondes how many beers he's had and he says 2 then Parker said Steve Austin used to drink half a dozen of them & the other blonde to be careful he's not swallowing his chewing tobacco as he doesn't him dizzy out in the ring. Then tells them if they don't stay on top of the game that they'll see some flying out of the lucha libre boys, and when they start doing their flying to make sure it's either the mat or the concrete floor they hit. It's west to east, north to south. They've got their business taken care of tonight

Tony & Rich hype up tonight's show as well as The Battle Riot on July 19th.

Shane Strickland is asked about the $20,000.00 bounty that Salina put on him. He says he doesn't know and that it's not going to happen. He's not worried about it & we shouldn't be either. No sooner as he says that then Brody King comes to collect and attacks him from behind with a pipe

Kaci Lennox standing by with MVP to get his thoughts on his upcoming match with Maxwell J Friedman: His thoughts are all over the place right now, because he's got some distractions, but specifically regarding MJF, he understands that he comes from money and he's used to writing & cashing checks, but this time MJF's mouth wrote a check his behind can't cash, this time MJF's going to school, but not like that cute little all-boy school he went to that elite private school. This time he's going to reform school, to state school & MVP's going to be his teacher. He's going to teach MJF what it feels like for the very first time in his life to want. He's going to want for the pain to end, he's going to want for the humiliation to end, he's going to want for the ref to pull MVP off his ass & when he's done with MJF he will turn his thoughts to Sami Callihan and his get-a-long gang. MVP & Sami do not get along & whenever they meet up it's always painful, it's always violent & potentially even bloody & he guesses that's pretty good news for the MLW faithful.

We're not just watching MLW, we're watching MJF & tonight he goes one-on-one with MVP the man with a 1,000 nicknames like Mr 305, Ghetto Strong-Style & Friedman's favorite The Ronin (a Samurai without a lord/master during Japan's feudal era usually taking place in the Kamakura Dynasty), but MJF wants to add a new nickname to that list the Jabronin Ronin and says to bring him out here

Simon Gotch's Prize Fight:

Gotch says it's the challenge so nice they had to do it twice. If his opponent can last 5 minutes in the ring with Gotch then he'll be rewarded handsomely with $250.00, last time his competitor lasted a scant 41 seconds, now he's going to see who has what it takes to get them some of this filthy money.

It's answered by Mike Parrow w/Col Parker

Parrow with a Pounce then sends Gotch into the steel pole, goozle, but Gotch counters the Chokeslam into a Kneebar, but Mike gets to the rope, Gotch distracts the ref as Tom Lawlor hits Parrow with an international object then Gotch locks in a Rear Naked Choke to get the submission

The Dirty Blondes come out as Team Filthy scatters not wanting to pick a fight with the Stud Stable

Brody King says he left Strickland laying lifeless in the parking lot, if Shane has the guts to face him in the ring then he'll destroy Strickland and collect Salina's 20 Grand

MLW CEO Court Bauer on the phone from Shane Strickland's home, the league isn't comfortable sanctioning a match between the bounty hunter & the world champion, however Shane has emphasized wanting to do the match, they don't condone it, but will honor the Champ's request and next week it will be Shane Strickland vs Brody King
