William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! Boys, we showcased 'House of Truth' last week in two of our matches. Well, this week, 'Camp Cornette' will take center stage in two matches, as 'The Revival' and 'Sons of Steel' will take on the Tag Team Champion Usos and 'War Machine' in a huge eight-man match! Also, Claudio Castagnoli will challenge Ricochet for the Mid-Atlantic Championship!"
Michael Hayes: "Jimmy, you're a featured act tonight, brother!"
Jim Cornette: "As it should be, gentlemen! 'Camp Cornette' will walk away with a lot of pride and a new gold belt before tonight's over!"
Regal: "Bray Wyatt will be in the main event against 'Broken Bomb' Jason Justice, and 'The Broken Universe' is here with him! Bray Wyatt promises a surprise as well. It should be a fantastic program, so let's get to it!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ Ricochet vs. Claudio Castagnoli with Jim Cornette
As Ricochet was entering the ring, he was rushed by all of "Camp Cornette" in a coordinated attack. They laid the boots to him and Kevin Steen landed a "Package Piledriver" on the ring apron before CM Punk hit the ring with a steel chair and cleaned house as several referees checked on Ricochet. He would not allow the officials to throw the match out, stating that he wished to continue. What ensued was a glorified squash.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Claudio Castagnoli by pinfall in 7:14
Regal: "That was dastardly! Ricochet never stood a chance after being dumped on his head before the match!"
Hayes: "It sure looks like 'Camp Cornette' picked its spot perfectly. Ricochet should have let the refs cancel the match!"
Regal: "Well, he's a fighting champion and I applaud that. But, I agree that he should have bowed out and gotten checked by the trainers. Fans, we'll take a break. But, we'll be back with eight-man action in just a moment."
Regal: "We're back and we've been joined briefly by Jim Cornette, who seems awfully full of himself. Jim, I suppose you're satisfied with that last match?"
Cornette: "Of course I am! I've already called mama and told her the good news!"
Hayes: "That was an easy win, considering that you mugged Ricochet before the bell ever rang!"
Cornette: "Hey, what happens before the match stays before the match! Like you said Mike, the bell hadn't rung, so it was all legal! Haha! Now, if you'll excuse me, my team has another match to win!"
Regal: "Well, at least we'll get to call two matches without him taking all the microphone time. Let's go to the ring for our second match-up!"
Match Two ~ "Camp Cornette" ("The Revival" {Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) and "Sons of Steel" {Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony} with Jim Cornette) vs. Jimmy & Jey Uso and "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) with "The Bad Guy" Scott Hall
The match scarcely resembled a traditional tag team match. it was more of a controlled chaos in tag team form. All eight men went at it ferociously. Multiple tags and multiple interferences kept this from being a purely scientific encounter. In the end, everyone was fighting. "War Machine" and "SoS" were going at it on the floor. The referee was trying to break that up. Jim Cornette tried to interfere, but was cut off by Scott Hall, who grabbed him by the throat. Cornette's trusty tennis racket went flying into the ring. Meanwhile in the ring, the Usos hit a scintillating double "Super Kick" on Dash Wilder that flattened his jaw. Jimmy made the cover and screamed for a count from the distracted referee. Scott Dawson took Jey out with a knee to the back. He then waffled Jimmy in the back of the head with Cornette's racket. Dawson then rolled Dash on top of Jimmy and summoned the referee, who made the oblivious count.
Winners = "Camp Cornette" by pinfall in 23:39
Regal: "Once again, the trickery of Jim Cornette and his troops leads to victory! One of these days, they'll get their comeuppance!"
Hayes: "Maybe so, but the record books will reflect that 'The Revival' put the first pinfall loss on the Tag Team Champions! You know Corny will be demanding a title shot!"
Regal: "Oh yes. He certainly will. Fans, we'll take another break. But, we'll be back for more in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back. Before we go to the ring for our main event, we'd like to play this ominous video recorded earlier today."
A video aired of Bray Wyatt explaining who he and Sister Abigail are.
Regal: "That was disturbing, quite frankly. Let's go to the ring."
Match Three ~ "Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt with "Spirit of Abigail" Maria Kanellis & "Lost Sheep" Erick Rowan vs. "Broken Bomb" Jason Justice with Queen Reby, "Broken Soldier" Gunnar, & "Broken Savior" Jon Skyler
Wyatt and Justice were perfect foils for one another. Both are eccentric. Both are maniacal. Both are unstable. They hammered each other throughout the match, one big blow dealt after another. At one point, both men were down in center ring. At the same time, they both sat up and began to laugh at each other hysterically. Ultimately, Justice hit the "Psycho Slam," but was too weakened to make a cover. when he finally did, Bray was able to kick out at the last possible second. Wyatt eventually turned things around and caught Justice with a surprise "Sister Abigail" for the win.
Winner = Bray Wyatt by pinfall in 18:02
Regal: "What a classic slugfest! Great win by Bray Wyatt!"
Outside the ring, Maria Kanellis began to smile through her hollow gaze as the lights went out in the entrance way.
Just then, this theme blared:
These two hulking figures entered ringside:
They joined Wyatt and Rowan in a beat down of Justice, Gunner, and Skyler until this video played on the tron:
Brother Nero hit the ring and helped even the odds. Wyatt and company got the better of the exchange until...
"Broken" Matt Hardy ran to ringside as Vanguard 1 flew overhead. A massive brawl ensued. Matt then shouted, "Initiate Boomstick Protocol!" Vanguard 1 then unleashed a flurry of fireworks that rained down on Bray and his evil henchmen. They fled the ring, but remained at ringside as Matt grabbed a microphone.
Matt Hardy: "'Consumer of Terrestrial Entities,' it would seem that 'The Great War' has commenced and you have become yet another in the laundry list of opposeeshyun! I have no choice but to sentence you and your minions to, deleeeeshyun! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssss! Wonduhfullllllllll!"
Hardy led the crowd in a huge chant of, "Delete!" Wyatt laughed and nodded his head as he led his troops away from the ring.
Regal: "Oh my! What a scene we've had out here tonight! It looks like a war zone! And, who are the two monsters Bray Wyatt had join him?! We need answers, but they'll have to wait until the next episode. Fans, unfortunately we're all out of time for tonight! Please join us next Tuesday for more of the Show Time Power Hour on TBS! And, please log on to www.nwashowtime.com immediately following our broadcast for After Buzz with Cathy Kelley! For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley spent the entire segment talking about the main event and referencing Hardy's "Great War." Kelley talked about how this war stretches over several promotions, including NWA: HAWK, Stars & Stripes, and WILD, along with Show Time. Kelley speculated as to whether or not the Multiverse or Broken Brilliance Tandem Championships would factor into the mix. The viewers really got a snapshot of how large the scope of "The Broken Universe's" quest truly is. Kelley's enthusiasm surely has whet fans' appetites for the confrontations surely to come. With that, Kelley signed off.
