William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are hall of famers Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! Guys, we have a whale of an episode tonight!"
Michael Hayes: "That's right, Jack! We're gonna see the debut of six-foot-seven Donovan Dijak!"
Jim Cornette: "Speaking of debuts, we'll see an interview with the newest members of the Cruiserweight division, 'Absolution,' a women's team! They're making a farce out of the whole division!"
Regal: "Jim, they petitioned the Board of Directors for NWA: Show Time to be a part of the Cruiserweight division. The precedent has been set before with Taya. It's not unheard of. They are here, whether you like it or not. And, they will be interviewed about their upcoming debut. Pete Dunne will tangle with Aleister Black in what should be a phenomenal match! In our main event, we'll see Adam Cole defend the Heavyweight Championship against Jay Lethal! Without further adieu, let's get it started!"
Match One ~ Donovan Dijak vs. "Born Winner" Mike Madden with Truth Martini and "Hoopla Hotties" (Shotzi Blakkhartt, Zahra, & Dan Adiva)
Madden is a technical wizard and ring general, but he had trouble with the bigger, stronger, more athletic Dijak. Martini seemed particularly impressed with Dijak. Madden tried his "Flatliner" finisher, but Dijak blocked it, eventually hitting "Feast Your Eyes" for the pin.
Winner = Donovan Dijak by pinfall in 8:33
Regal: "Impressive victory by the debuting Donovan Dijak!"
Hayes: "He's extremely talented. He almost reminds of Barry Windham with his size and athleticism."
Cornette: "I don't know about that, but he is good. Martini seems to have taken a shine to him."
Regal: "Yes. What do you make of that?"
Cornette: "He might be looking for a new member for 'House of Truth.'"
Regal: "You might be right. Fans, we'll take a quick break and be back with more action!"
Regal: "We're back! Let's go to 'SoCal' Val, who is standing by with 'Absolution.'"
Valerie Wyndham: "I am here with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, who comprise the tag team known as 'Absolution.' They have petitioned NWA: Show Time and were granted permission to sign and join the Cruiserweight division. Ladies, why didn't you just sign on to NWA: Femme Fatales or some other women's promotion and compete with your own gender?"
Mandy Rose: "Because there's no challenge in that. We've beaten every female tag team worth beating. That doesn't make headlines. But, going into a male dominated territory and wrestling male tag teams is newsworthy! we're not here as a publicity stunt. We're here to win the Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship from 'Euro Trash' and defend them against the whole division!"
Sonya Deville: "We don't care if we fight men every day of the week! We have MMA backgrounds. All we did was train against men! We're afraid of nothing or no one! It's time to pull our hair up and square up, and we're taking out the Cruiserweight division, whether anyone likes it or not!"
Wyndham: "There you have it. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Thanks, Val! Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne vs. Aleister Black
Winner = Pete Dunne by pinfall in 10:09
Regal: "A bit of trickeration and a well placed referee allowed Pete Dunne to escape with a win!"
Hayes: "It looked like Black had him! But, Pete Dunne was resourceful and shifty!"
Cornette: "Whether he snatched victory from the jaws of defeat or not, the bottom line is that Pete Dunne got his hand raised in another great match!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, we'll take another break. When we return, we'll see another member of 'House of Truth,' the ever dangerous Jay Lethal, get a go at the Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole! Stay with us!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ Adam Cole with Britt Baker vs. Jay Lethal with Truth Martini and "Hoopla Hotties" (Shotzi Blakkhartt, Zahra, & Dana Adiva)
Both men brawled to start this one, which was mostly in Lethal's favor at that point. They ended up on the outside of the ring. Jay hit a "Dropkick" to the back of Adam's head. Lethal brought Cole to the other side of the ring and nailed a second "Dropkick" to the back of Cole's head. Cole fought back as both men traded blows. Jay won the exchange, landing a "Cutter" on Cole to the floor. Lethal dragged a table out and draped Cole over it. Lethal attempted "Hail to the King" off the top rope, but smashed through the table after Cole moved out of harm's way. Lethal's came up bleeding from the landing. Cole then rammed Jay's head into the ring post. Cole gained control and applied a "Rear Chinlock." Jay tried to fight back, but Adam shut him down quickly. Lethal finally turned the tide with a "Leg Lariat" off the second rope. Lethal hit a "Death Valley Driver" for a two-count. Cole rose to his feet, but Lethal landed a "Springboard Dropkick" following by three straight "Suicide Dives." Lethal then flew for two more dives onto Cole and nailed both. A fired up Jay went for dive number six, but this time Cole side-stepped Jay and Lethal went crashing into the barricade. Both men struggled back into the ring and began trading blows. Cole got the edge, slapped Lethal's face, and then hit a "Shining Wizard" for a near fall. Cole set up for a "Super Kick." Lethal countered and blasted him with a "Lariat." Lethal readied for a "Lethal Injection," but Cole pulled the referee away and snuck in a low blow on Jay. He then hit "Last Shot" for a near fall after Jay got his foot on the bottom rope. Cole applied a "Guillotine Choke" on Lethal. Jay countered and hit a "Lethal Combination." Lethal then hit three straight "Suplexes" on Cole. He climbed to the top rope and landed "Hail to the King" for a two-count. Both men traded kicks in center ring and knocked each other out. Adam went to the top rope to try the "Destroyer." Jay countered into a "Lethal Injection." He set up for another one. Cole countered with the "Destroyer," followed by "Last Shot" for a 2.5 count. A frustrated Cole started beating on Lethal and taunting him. Lethal jumped up and connected with "Lethal Injection" for a 2.9 count. As both men struggled to rise from the mat, Cole spat on Jay. Lethal charged him. Cole rolled him up and held the tights for a near fall. Adam then nailed a "Shining Wizard" followed by another "Last Shot" for the victory.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Adam Cole by pinfall in 32:12
Regal: "What a fight! Both men put on a fantastic bout!"
Hayes: "You don't get much better than that!"
Cornette: "I'll give it up! That was a five-star match right there!"
