William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are hall of famers Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! Gents, we have an explosive episode tonight that will culminate in a 'Loser Leaves Show Time' match!"
Michael Hayes: "Yep! CM Punk and Bounty Hunter Mesias are putting it all on the line!"
Jim Cornette: "Someone is leaving this company for good! I, for one, pray it's CM Punk!"
Regal: "Talk about unbiased journalism."
Cornette: "Ha! William, you are the most biased commentator I know!"
Regal: "We'll agree to disagree. Fans, we have that match and much, much more tonight, including..."
Just then, Kota Ibushi's music hit to bring out the Cruiserweight Champion to a loud ovation.
Kota Ibushi: "I want Taichi now!"
Taichi's music played, bringing him out to the entrance ramp along with valet Miho Abe. Ibushi screamed at him from the ring.
Ibushi: "Come on!"
Taichi slowly began to parade down to the ring. Abe was draped all over him. Taichi carefully stepped up to the apron. Ibushi was chomping at the bit, but allowed him to get into the ring before attacking. Ibushi was gaining the upper hand and had Taichi's throat draped over the bottom rope choking him. Miho raked Ibushi's eyes to break the hold. Ibushi rolled into center ring as Taichi regained his composure. Taichi slid out of the ring and grabbed Abe's hand as they proceeded to leave ringside. But, they were stopped dead in their tracks when this woman appeared at the entrance ramp:
Taichi's eyes grew as big as saucers at the sight of this woman, who gave chase to Abe. Miho fled through the crowd. The woman got into the ring and stared at Taichi with an enraged look:
Regal: "What the bloody heck is going on here?! Who is that woman?!"
Hayes: "I don't know, but she sure doesn't like Taichi's choice of valets!"
Cornette: "I've ticked off plenty of women in my day, so I know that look! That is the face of a woman scorned!"
Regal: "Jim, you may be onto something."
Kota high-fived the woman and they left ringside together.
Regal: "Fans, we'll take a break. In the meantime, we'll see if we can get a word with Kota Ibushi and this mystery woman. Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back. Fans, Junko Suzuki has found Kota Ibushi and the mystery woman who went after Miho Abe. Let's get a word with them."
Junko Suzuki: "Kota, watashitachiha sokode nani o mimashita ka? Kono josei wa daredesu ka (Kota, what did we just see out there? Who is this woman)?"
Ibushi: "Watashi no kanojo no supottoraito o toru hitsuyō wa arimasen. Kanojo ga anata jishin ni oshie sasete kudasai (No need for me to take her spotlight. Let her tell you herself)."
Mystery Woman: "Watashi wa Ofunedesu. Soshite, watashi wa Ishikari Taichi no tsumadesu (I am Ofune. And, I am Taichi Ishikari's wife)!"
Suzuki: "Kare no tsuma?! Shikashi, kare wa Abe Miho ga kare no gārufurendoda to shuchō shite iru (His wife?! But, he claims that Miho Abe is his girlfriend)!"
Ofune: "Hai! Soshite, sono chīsana toranpu wa watashitachi no ie o dainashi ni shiyou to shite imasu! Kanojo to Taichi wa watashitachi no kazoku o hazukashi gatte imasu! Watashi wa monogoto o tadashiku settei suru tame ni koko ni iru (Yes! And, that little tramp has tried to ruin our home! She and Taichi have embarrassed our family! I am here to set things right)!"
Ibushi: "Anata wa, Taichi to watashi wa Nihon de nagai rekishi o motte imasu. Watashitachiha yūjin to tekideshita. Watashi wa Ofune o shitte iru. Senshū-sue, watashi wa sugu ni kanojo to renraku o tori, nani ga okotta no ka kanojo ni hanashimashita. Kanojo wa Amerika ni tonde, Taichi to Miho ni boku o mukaete kureru koto o yorokonda (You see, Taichi and I have a long history in Japan. We have been friends and foes. I know Ofune. After last week, I immediately got in touch with her and told her what happened. She was more than happy to fly to America and join me against Taichi and Miho)."
Ofune: "Soshite, watashi wa Taichi to kare no chīsana baishunpu ni betsu no odoroki o motte imasu! Ric Flair wa watashi ni keiyaku o musubimashita (And, I have another surprise for Taichi and his little whore! Ric Flair just signed me to a contract)!"
Ibushi: "Kare wa raishū Taichi to Miho to no `Mikkusu Tagu Chīmu' no shiai mo watashitachi ni ataemashita! Watashitachi wa anata no tame ni kite iru (He also has granted us a 'Mixed Tag Team' match next week against Taichi and Miho! We are coming for you)!"
Ofune: "Watashi ga Abe Miho ni tewosashinoberu to, watashi wa kanojo no chīsana atama no ue no subete no kami o sakudeshou! Sore de, taikyokuken no gārufurendo ga dorehodo kawaii ka mite mimashou (When I get my hands on Miho Abe, I will rip out every hair on her little head! Then, we'll see how pretty Taichi's girlfriend is)!"
Suzuki: "There you have it. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Oh my! What a development! Taichi's wife, estranged wife it would seem, has been signed to NWA: Show Time by Commissioner Ric Flair and she and Kota Ibushi will have a 'Mixed Tag Team' match next week against Taichi and Miho Abe!"
Hayes: "And, Ofune has promised to snatch Miho bald!"
Cornette: "Man, I'm tired of being right! I told you she was a woman scorned! I'd hate to be in Taichi's or Miho's shoes next week! They're in for a beating! And, I'll bet Ric Flair is in the back laughing his head off! Like it or not, this 'Jerry Springer' stuff does make for good TV!"
Regal: "In moderation, yes. I could see Ric Flair getting a kick out of this domestic squabble. Lord knows he's had plenty of his own. He's probably relieved it's not him this time. Fans, let's shift gears and go to the ring!"
Match One ~ "No Fly" Drew Gulak with "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams & "Bonafide" Fred Yehi vs. "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne with Tyler Bate & Trent Seven
This match disintegrated after two minutes, when both entourages got involved. The referee immediately called for the bell.
Winner = double disqualification in 2:06
Just then, this entrance video played on the tron:
www.wwe.com/videos/ric-flair-entrance-video
Ric Flair: "No, no, no! This match isn't going down like that! All six of you want to get involved?! Fine! We're restarting this as a 'Six Man Tag!' Woooo!"
Match Two ~ "British Strong Style" ("Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, & Trent Seven) vs. "Catch Point" ("No Fly" Drew Gulak, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams, & "Bonafide" Fred Yehi)
This match was even better than Dunne versus Gulak was shaping up to be. There was crisp action from bell to bell. Dunne and company worked there wondrous maze of pain compliance mixed with Bate's stunning athletic and aerial ability. Seven provided the entertainment factor and Dunne was plain sadistic. "Catch Point" are all solid technical stars. They showed their wares as well. In the end, the action broke down once again. Bate and Yehi ended up on the top rope. Yehi went for an "Avalanche Hurricanrana," but Bate used his inhuman strength to hold Yehi and block the move. He hoisted Yehi up into a "Powerbomb" position and hit a modified "Avalanche Tyler Driver '97" that got the crowd to its feet and got his group the win.
Winners = "British Strong Style" by pinfall in 16:20
Regal: "Good Lord! Tyler Bate nearly broke Fred Yehi in half with that 'Sitout Powerbomb' off the top rope!"
Hayes: "What a match! Six-man action, baby! That takes me back!"
Cornette: "I'll admit that Michael Hayes and 'The Fabulous Freebirds' knew more about six-man tags than anyone in the business. But, this was a great match!"
Regal: "Absolutely! Fans, we'll be back after this brief commercial break!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back! We have given Jim Cornette his leave as 'Camp Cornette' member and new United States Champion Kevin Steen is featured in our next match. Before we go to the ring, Joanna Rose is standing by with Bounty Hunter Mesias and friend Karlee Perez."
Joanna Rose: "I'm here with Bounty Hunter Mesias and Karlee Perez. Mesias will take on CM Punk in a 'Loser Leaves Show Time' match later on tonight. Mesias, what is your mindset going into a match with this much riding on the outcome?"
Karlee Perez: "Do you think we would have agreed to this match if we were not confident that Mesias would win? They call me 'Empress of the Empire' for a reason. I am intelligent and I am calculating. CM Punk has been a thorn in the side of Jordan Richards and 'The Richards Collective' for long enough! It's time for him to fade off into the sunset for good. You see, Mesias is known throughout the world as 'Mil Muertes,' the man of a thousand deaths. He cannot be stopped. Nothing CM Punk can do will phase him. Mesias will put the 'Kiss of Death' on CM Punk tonight. And, I will be there to watch it happen."
Rose: "Back to you, William."
Regal: "Ominous words from Karlee Perez, who is as devious as she is beautiful. Now, let's go back to the ring!"
Match Three ~ Non-Title ~ Kevin Steen (NWA United States Heavyweight Champion) with Jim Cornette vs. Jay Lethal with Truth Martini and "Hoopla Hotties" (Shotzi Balkkhartt, Zahra, & Dana Adiva)
After the opening bell, both competitors started throwing punches right away. The fight quickly spills to the floor and Lethal whipped Steen into the barricade. Momentum changed several times as both men were trying to set the pace. Back in the ring, they continued slugging away at each other. Lethal took control and sent Steen back to the floor. He hit two consecutive "Suicide Dives," but before he could hit the third, Kevin grabbed him and hit a "Powerbomb" on the ring apron. Steen went to work, wearing Jay down. Steen attempted the "Swanton Bomb," but Lethal got his knees up into Kevin's back. Lethal then landed a "Lung Blower." Steen nailed a "Pumphandle Neckbreaker" for a two-count. Kevin barreled into the corner for a "Cannonball," but Jay moved out of the way and planted Steen with a "Neckbreaker" for a near-fall. Lethal signaled for the "Lethal Injection," but Kevin grabbed him by the shoulders, accidentally swinging Jay’s legs into the referee. Jay hit the "Lethal Injection," but there was no one to count. Xavier Woods and Mike Madden ran out and dropped Steen with a "Spike Piledriver." Cornette was going crazy at this point. Woods and Madden roused the referee to make the count. Suddenly, "The Revival" and "Sons of Steel" ran out to chase off "House of Truth." The referee was still shaking off the cobwebs and was delayed in his count. Steen was able to kick out at 2.9. Steen rose to his feet and began to slug it out with Jay once again. Lethal hit two "Dragon Suplexes," but still could not put Kevin away. Jay landed "Trouble in Paradise," but Steen came right back with a "Pop-Up Powerbomb" for another two-count. Jay came back with a series of "Super Kicks" and the "Lethal Combination." He scaled the ropes and launched himself for "Hail to the King." Once again, Steen kicked out. Jay locked in the "Koji Clutch." Steen made his way to the ropes for the break. They fought to the apron and Steen uncorked an "F-Cinq" through the timekeeper’s table. Jay barely made it back to the ring and walked right into the "Package Piledriver."
Winner = Kevin Steen by pinfall in 20:46
Regal: "What a match! That was an absolute master class, even with the interference!"
Hayes: "Kevin Steen impressed me right there! He's had his ups and down in this company, but that might have been his best match!"
Regal: "Wow! Fans, we have to take another break! When we return, someone is leaving NWA: Show Time for good!"
Regal: "We're back! 'SoCal' Val is at CM Punk's locker room and is trying to get a word with him. Val, any luck?"
Valerie Wyndham: "William, at this time, CM Punk has declined any interviews, instead choosing to isolate himself in preparation for this all-important match."
Just then, AJ Lee stepped out of the locker room.
Wyndham: "AJ! May I have a quick word? What is your husband's mindset going into this 'Loser Leaves Show Time' match against Bounty Hunter Mesias?"
AJ Lee: "It's real simple, Val. He's in survival mode. This is a 'one and done' deal. If he loses, he's gone. He understands the gravity of that."
Wyndham: "Karlee Perez stated that she will be at ringside in Mesias' corner for this match. Does that change anything?"
Lee: "No. We expected he'd have back-up, especially in a 'No Disqualification' match. Let Karlee be out there. If she tries to interfere, I've got something for her. The bottom line is that tonight, the man of a thousand deaths will 'Go to Sleep' once and for all!"
Wyndham: "Back to you, William."
Regal: "AJ Lee is confident. Let's see which of these wrestlers we'll see the last of tonight!"
Match Four ~ "Loser Leaves Show Time" ~ "No Disqualification" match ~ CM Punk with AJ Lee vs. Bounty Hunter Mesias with "Empress of the Empire" Karlee Perez
Perez entered the ring looking as only she could look:
This was a fight, pure and simple. Mesias clearly has technical skill, but much of it remained inside the bag of tricks in favor of a more grinding physical style. CM Punk was happy to oblige. The physical toll the match took on the wrestlers kept it from going a very long time. Chairs and other objects were used as torture devices. Perez did get involved, as anticipated. AJ Lee shut that down very quickly, as she jerked Perez off the apron. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Adam Cole, Bobby Roode, and The Rock came to ringside. They were met by Ricochet and "War Machine." That instigated an immediate brawl that spilled into the crowd. Austin escaped it and came to the ring. He took Mesias' mystical stone from Karlee and jumped into the ring. AJ was screaming at the referee to do something, but his hands were tied with the "No Disqualification" stipulation. Mesias grabbed Punk and held him while Austin ran at Punk, who ducked, causing Steve to strike Mesias in the head with the stone. Mesias staggered into the corner as Punk "Dropkicked" Austin, knocking him out of the ring. Punk then hit the staggering Mesias with "Go to Sleep." As he covered, Perez attempted to break it up, but was "Speared" by Lee.
Winner = CM Punk by pinfall in 14:48 (Bounty Hunter Mesias must leave NWA: Show Time)
Regal: "Despite the interference, CM Punk triumphs and sends Mesias packing!"
Hayes: "Austin is fit to be tied right now! Their little plan didn't quite work out!"
Cornette: "I think the whole thing is a travesty marred in controversy! The result should be thrown out after all that interference from AJ Lee!"
Regal: "Really, Jim?! AJ Lee was the only one who interfered?!"
Cornette: "You said it, Regal! Not me!"
Regal: "Nevertheless, CM Punk has defeated Bounty Hunter Mesias and he must leave NWA: Show Time, per the stipulations of the match! Fans, we are out of time. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, please tune into www.nwashowtime.com immediately following our broadcast for After Buzz with Cathy Kelley! For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as usual.
Kelley interviewed the victorious CM Punk and wife AJ Lee. Punk stated, "One down, several more to go," an indication that he is looking to take out some more of the NWA: Show Time roster. New NWA United States Heavyweight Champion Kevin Steen was interviewed next. Steen gave himself rave reviews for "overcoming the odds" at NWA SuperBrawl to win another "Gauntlet" match, as well as overcoming the odds on tonight's broadcast to defeat Jay Lethal. Steen predicted that he will go down as the longest reigning US Champion of all time. With that, Kelley signed off.
