William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. with me are Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! We are just a couple of weeks out from NWA SuperBrawl, and the action in NWA: Show Time is heating up!"
Michael Hayes: "Hotter than the fourth of July! We've got a three-way turf war, the tag team scene is on fire, and the Cruiserweights steal the show almost every week!"
Jim Cornette: "Speaking of tag teams, all three of mine have been cheated and robbed by the Usos and Scott Hall and I demand justice!"
Regal: "Yes Jim, we all know. The world knows that you feel cheated by the Usos. Nevertheless, they are the Tag Team Champions."
Cornette: "Not for long!"
Regal: "That remains to be seen. What isn't up for debate is the fact that tonight's episode will be a great one. In our main event, we'll see a small prelude to SuperBrawl, as The Rock will take on Braun Strowman and Ricochet in a three-way battle for supremacy! Also, Kota Ibushi is here to defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Marty Scurll and the Dudleys will battle 'War Machine' in our first match! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) vs. Bully Ray & D-Von Dudley
What a slugfest. The Dudleys are the most legendary hardcore team ever. The veterans certainly know how to roughhouse. "War Machine" can mix it up with the best in the world. This match was exactly as anticipated. The Dudleys managed to hit Rowe with "3-D," but Hanson was there to break it up. Bully kept "War Machine" from hitting "Fallout" on D-Von, but only shortly. eventually, they did land the awesome maneuver and pinned D-Von.
Winners = "War Machine" by pinfall in 10:13
After the match, "Killer Elite Squad" came to the ring to assist their stable mates in laying out "War Machine." Surprisingly, CM Punk and Ricochet ran to the ring and made the save to a huge roar from the crowd. After they cleared the ring, "Best in the World" and "War Machine" shook hands. Rowe could be heard saying, "We owe you one." CM Punk retorted, "Let's talk about that backstage" before all four men left to massive applause.
Regal: "Are we seeing a budding alliance forming before our eyes?"
Hayes: "What an alliance it would be!"
Cornette: "Mildly successful. They pale in comparison to 'Camp Cornette.' I guess they deserve each other."
Regal: "With that, we'll go to commercial. Back in a moment."
As the episode came back on air, the scene had shifted to backstage, where cameras caught the tail end of a conversation.
CM Punk: "Listen, it's basically a 'you scratch our backs, we'll scratch yours' proposition. What do you say?"
Hanson: "We respect you guys. And, we appreciate the help out there tonight. But, give us some time to think it over."
Ricochet: "You got it. But, don't take too long."
Raymond Rowe: "Understood. You'll know before the end of the night."
Regal: "Very interesting conversation there. We don't know exactly what's going on, but we do know some sort of offer has been made by CM Punk and Ricochet to 'War Machine.'"
Hayes: "I'd say whatever it is has to be intriguing. 'War Machine' is going to mull it over."
Cornette: "Who cares?! CM Punk and Ricochet are ungrateful turncoats and 'War Machine' is nothing more than a couple of dime store hoodlums!"
Regal: "Will you stop? Fans, let's go back to the ring for our Cruiserweight Championship match!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship ~ Kota Ibushi vs. "The Villain" Marty Scurll with Zack Sabre, Jr. & Aleister Black
Ibushi proved in this match why he is considered one of the best Cruiserweights in the world. Scurll is no slouch himself, but he was outclassed by Kota on many occasions. Scurll did have his moments of offense, concentrating on the fingers of Ibushi as he tends to do. Scurll is vicious and calculated. He manipulated Kota's digits, even attempting to break his fingers at one point. But, Kota is simply on fire right now. He countered every move Scurll could throw at him. Ibushi hit the "Phoenix Splash," but could not get the pin counted before Sabre and Black interfered.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion = Kota Ibushi by disqualification in 20:43
Sabre and Black pounded on Ibushi until "Catch Point" hit the ring. Instead of saving Ibushi, however, they attacked both he and "Euro Trash," leaving them all laying. Matt Riddle got in both Kota and Zack's faces and let them know "who runs the show, bros!"
Regal: "It seems that 'Catch Point' is trying to reestablish dominance in the Cruiserweight division! The World Jr. Heavyweight Champion Matt Riddle in particular is sending a message to both Zack Sabre, Jr. and Kota Ibushi."
Hayes: "Matt Riddle is the World Champion, but he does seem to be threatened by Sabre and Ibushi."
Cornette: "He's not threatened by them! He's the best there is! He's simply letting them know who's boss!"
Regal: "Indeed. Well, I for one would love to see Matt Riddle take on either of those two. Fans, we'll take a break. When we return, it's main event time! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back! Fans, 'SoCal' Val is standing by with the incomparable Rock for a quick interview."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with The Rock, who is about to make his way out for a 'Three-Way Dance' against Braun Strowman and Ricochet. How do you prepare for a match like this?"
The Rock: "Valerie, The Rock doesn't get prepared! The Rock stays prepared! So, The Rock says for Braun Strowman and Ricochet to just bring it! A 'Three-Way Dance,' huh?! Well, The Rock says his dance card is filled up, but he just might have room for two more. So, here's what The Rock's gonna do. He's gonna put on his shiniest boots. He's gonna take those shiny boots, turn them sideways, and stick them straight up their candy a****! The most electrifying man in sports is about to do what he always does! The Rock's gonna lay the smack down, in front of the millions...and millions of The Rock's fans! If ya smeeeeeelllllll what The Rock is cookin'!"
Wyndham: "There you have it. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Another charismatic interview from The Rock. Fans, we've waited for this all hour! Let's wait no further!"
Match Three ~ "Three-Way Dance" ~ The Rock with Eve Torres vs. "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman with "Spirit of Abigail" Maria Kanellis vs. Ricochet with AJ Lee
This "Three-Way Dance" was more of a six-way when the women at ringside were factored in. What action inside the ring, though. Strowman tossed everyone around like ragdolls, including the 275-pound Rock. Ricochet bounced around the ring like a pogo stick. The no disqualification nature of the battle made it even more violent and interesting. Strowman practically dismantled the ringside area to conduct his business. He actually got slammed through a table by The Rock and Ricochet in a rare moment of cooperation. The end came in a bizarre turn of events. The Rock had things cooking (no pun intended) against ricochet after Braun had been put through the table outside. He hit the "Rock Bottom" and was looking for "The People's Elbow." But, before he could complete the move, the lights went out. Then, this ominous sound echoed throughout the arena for the second week in a row:
When the lights came back up, The Undertaker had The Rock by the neck and "Chokeslammed" him. The Rock rolled out of the ring, writhing in pain. Ricochet then was scooped up and drilled into the mat with a thunderous "Tombstone." Strowman, who had recovered, hopped into the ring and made the cover on Ricochet.
Winner = Braun Strowman by pinfall in 19:06
Regal: "We have yet another appearance by The Undertaker!"
Hayes: "What a creepy guy!"
Cornette: "Is it cold in here, or is it just me?!"
Regal: "Yes, a chill definitively has fallen over the air."
Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan joined Strowman and 'Taker in the ring and began to pound on Rock and Ricochet. Adam Cole, Bobby Roode, and Brock Lesnar ran down to the ring. They were soon joined by CM Punk. After another several seconds, "War Machine" ran to the ring. A massive fight ensued all over ringside.
Regal: "What a scene out here!"
Hayes: "I guess we got our answer about the proposition to 'War Machine!' It looks like their with Punk and Ricochet!"
Cornette: "It's a pier-six brawl! Katie, bar the door and batten down the hatches!"
Regal: "Oh my! Commissioner Flair has brought out Security personnel to try and break this up!"
Cornette: "Yeah, right! He better call the cavalry!"
Security was tossed about in the fray. CEO Jordan Richards came out a short time later. Soon, a bevy of Charlotte police ran to ringside with body armor on.
Regal: "wow! This looks like a preview of the 'World War 3 Elimination' match! It's going to be chaos! Fans, we're running out of time. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, please don't forget to check out www.nwashowtime.com for After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following our telecast! For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as usual.
Kelley ran down the highlights of the episode, including the interference of The Undertaker, who she noted has not been seen in a ring anywhere in over three years. Kelley talked about the apparent alliance formed between "Best in the World" and "War Machine" ahead of NWA: SuperBrawl: Sunday, Bloody Sunday, and speculated whether or not that meant the four of them were now a team. Kelley further projected as to which team would be the odds-on favorite in the "World War 3 Elimination" match. Kelley then interviewed The Sinister Minister and "Priestess" Skyler Moon of "The New Church." They suggested that 2018 will the year of a "dark revival" and warned that anyone not willing to "walk in truth" would be "doomed to be consumed by it." Moon "prophesied" to Kelley that 2018 will see "repentance come to the masses." After that macabre interview, Kelley signed off.
