William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! Gents, we have a huge episode scheduled tonight with all title matches!"
Michael Hayes: "Yep! We already know from last week that Jim Cornette's 'Revival' will defend the Tag Team Championship against the Usos! You ready for that one, Jimmy?!"
Jim Cornette: "Trust me when I tell you that 'The Revival' is always ready! But, I still say the Usos haven't earned a title match!"
Regal: "Well, it doesn't matter now, because the day has drawn nigh! Also, we'll see Ricochet defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship against Jay Lethal and Brock Lesnar defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Mikael Judas in our main event! So, let's get to it!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ Ricochet vs. Jay Lethal with Truth Martini and "Hoopla Hotties" (Shotzi Blakkhartt, Zahra, & Dana Adiva)
This was a stellar match put on by two top notch veterans. Lethal has been in the sport for well over a decade and has won championships all over the globe. Ricochet has almost ten years of experience as well and is an international star. He has been a perennial champion since joining NWA: Show Time. Lethal actually shocked the fans by winning the match and being awarded the championship. He hit Ricochet with a foreign object (slipped to him by Martini) and then landed "Lethal Injection," which pinned the champion.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Jay Lethal by pinfall in 12:14
As Lethal was celebrating, the referee noticed and uncharacteristic bulge in his trunks. When he investigated, the referee found the object and disqualified Lethal.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Ricochet by disqualification (reverse decision) in 12:14
Lethal and Martini were livid. Jay and longtime partner Xavier Woods, who had come to ringside during the match, attacked Ricochet. They laid the boots to him until CM Punk made the save.
Regal: "Well, we thought we'd seen our first title change of the night! But, justice was served as Ricochet retained via the disqualification."
Hayes: "Yeah, Lethal about outsmarted him, but good eye by the referee!"
Cornette: "I don't see how the referee can justifiably disqualify Jay Lethal! He didn't see him use that object! How does he know it wasn't there the whole time?! Maybe Jay had it there for protection!"
Regal: "Jim, you know good and well Truth Martini gave Jay Lethal that weapon!"
Cornette: "Yeah, but the ref doesn't! Jay Lethal should be Mid-Atlantic Champion as far as I'm concerned! He didn't get caught doing anything!"
Regal: "Nevertheless, Ricochet walks out with the title intact. Fans, we'll go to commercial break! When we return, we'll see if Jim Cornette's men can leave with the Tag Team Championship still in their possession! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back! Jim Cornette has taken his leave from commentary to be at ringside with 'The Revival' for this all important title defense. Before we go to the ring, 'SoCal' Val is backstage with the challengers, the Usos, and their manager Scott Hall. Valerie, take it away."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Jey and Jimmy Uso and their manager, 'The Bad Guy' Scott Hall. Gentlemen, you've only been in this company for a month or so, but you've quickly racked up some impressive victories and have earned yourselves a title match in a few moments. How are you feeling heading into this match against 'The Revival?'"
Jey Uso: "Val, we on fire right now, girl! The Usos have taken this company by storm! We earned a title shot in record time, and tonight, we're cashing in!"
Jimmy Uso: "That's right! 'The Revival' 'bout to serve some hard time in the 'Uso Penitentiary!' Hey uce, we 'bout to throw hands on them fools!"
Jey: "Yep! We gonna drop some bombs on 'em!"
Scott Hall: "Hey yo! 'The Revival' is one of the best teams in the world, but they're about to learn about that day one ish. We ain't here to sing it. We're here to bring it! So, as much as we'd love to sit here and chat with you Val, we have some business to take care of."
Wyndham: "There you have it. Back to you, William." (Hall flicked his toothpick at the camera as they walked away)
Regal: "Thanks, Val. It looks like the Usos and 'The Bad Guy' are all business tonight. This should be a classic."
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "The Revival" (Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) with Jim Cornette vs. Jey & Jimmy Uso with "The Bad Guy" Scott Hall
We thought the first match was great...until this one. It was, without a doubt, the best tag team match the show has ever seen. These two teams put on a clinic and the fans' excitement built through its entirety. The Usos were on point to start the match. You could tell they were amped up. They hit separate "Suicide Dives" to each opponent on the outside. Then, they nailed a tantalizing double "Suicide Dive." The crowd was fired up as well. There was so much back and forth action in the early minutes of the match. Dash and Dawson controlled most of the action in the middle, isolating Jimmy in their corner for what seemed liked eternity. The worked over his leg for several minutes, concentrating on that body part in trademark "Revival" fashion. They really showed why they are the most technically skilled, old school throwback team in the sport. Finally, Jimmy was able to make a tag and bring in Jey. Jey hit "Superkicks" on both Dawson and Dash. He put them both down with "Stinger Splashes" in the corner. Jimmy recovered and all four men were fighting in the ring. The referee was struggling to maintain order. He admonished Dawson and Jimmy back to their corners. While this was going on, Jim Cornette threw Dash his tennis racket. Wilder took a home run swing on Jey, who ducked and hit a low blow on Dash. Jey then walloped Dash with the racket. Scott Hall hit a "Discuss Punch" on Cornette outside the ring (the fans went wild for that). Jey tagged Jimmy, who ran to the top rope. Jey hit a "Super Kick" on Dawson that knocked him to the floor. Jimmy hit a huge "Superfly Leap" onto a prone Dash for the pin.
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = The Usos by pinfall in 25:08
Regal: "Oh my! The Usos have won the Tag Team Championship in one of the greatest matches we've seen on this program! Yes, the tennis racket came into play, but it doesn't take away from the battle those two teams just had!"
Hayes: "I know tag team wrestling, and that was how it's done! If any rookie teams in the world want to see how a tag team match should be constructed, look no further than that match as your clinic!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll remember that one for a long time to come! We've got to take a break and catch our breath! We still have the World Heavyweight Championship match to come! Fans, don't turn that channel! We'll be back!"
Regal: "We are back and Jim Cornette is livid in the locker room with 'The Revival!'"
The scene cut to backstage, where Jim Cornette was throwing a tantrum.
Cornette: "I want them fined! I want them suspended! I want them fired! The Usos cheated again and Scott Hall put his hands on me! My mama's gonna be calling her attorneys and we're suing everybody! I want the Tag Team Titles returned to Dash and Dawson! Listen to me Flair, do your job and give us our belts back!"
Cornette then slung his jacket to the floor and began swatting the lockers with his tennis racket. Meanwhile, Dawson was pacing the floor as Dash tried to shake the cobwebs from the racket shot he took in the match.
Regal: "Needless to say Jim is upset and I don't expect we'll see him back in commentary for the main event."
Hayes: "I'd say stick a fork in him. He's done for tonight."
Regal: "Fans, it's a rare treat to see a World Championship defended on our program, but that's what we're about to see, as Brock Lesnar is set to defend against big Mikael Judas!"
Before the combatants came to the ring, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out CEO Jordan Richards, Karlee Perez, and Commissioner Ric Flair.
Jordan Richards: "Before we begin this main event match, I have something to say. I've been in talks with the NWA Board of Governors. As the Chairman of the Board, I have sanctioned this match here tonight. But, the rest of the Board has requested that NWA: Show Time ensures no interference in this match. They and I understand the volatility of the current feud between 'The Richards Collective' and various other entities. Believe me, I want a fair NWA World Championship match as much as anyone else on the Board. So, I got to talking with Commissioner Flair and we've come up with a solution. He have made contact with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and they have supplied us with a group of Officers to surround the ring and keep out anyone but the authorized combatants in the match, Mikael Judas and 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar (the Officers came to ringside at that time). Now, let's get this main event started!"
Match Three ~ NWA World Heavyweight Championship ~ "The Beast" Brock Lesnar vs. "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas
This was a hard-hitting bout, but it did not last very long. Both men traded blows in center ring to start it. Judas actually got the better of that exchange, but he then ate a couple "German Suplexes" for his trouble. They again exchanged punches and kicks before Judas went for a big "Clothesline." Lesnar ducked and scooped Mikael into an "F-5." Before he could cover, the lights went out. Then, this familiar video played:
When the lights came back up, Bray Wyatt was in the ring and had Brock Lesnar in position for "Sister Abigail," which he hit with authority. The referee immediately rang the bell.
Winner and STILL NWA World Heavyweight Champion = Brock Lesnar by disqualification in 5:11
Regal: "How did Bray Wyatt get past all those police?!"
Wyatt then threw Lesnar and Judas out of the ring and grabbed a microphone. The police Officers at ringside seemed almost frozen. Wyatt took a microphone.
Bray Wyatt: "So, it seems a match has been signed that requires the services of another warrior on our side. Well, I know that Braun Strowman, Erick Rowan, and I are more than enough of a force to turn back any advances against us, but we have been told to find a fourth. I spoke with Abigail and she advised me that this is a dark war, so I might need to call upon the forces of darkness to aid my fight. She said I might need someone who is no mere mortal, someone who knows neither death nor life, someone who passes easily from one to another. As I pondered her words, I suddenly realized that there is but one who fits that bill."
The lights went out again. Before they came back up, this ominous sound blared throughout the arena:
When the lights came back up, this man stood in center ring:
Regal: "Oh my God."
The Undertaker stood ominously as Wyatt laughed maniacally behind him. The police Officers then tried to rush the ring, but The Undertaker threw up his arms and they all dropped like a shot. Lesnar and Judas could not move from the floor either. The lights went out again and the Wyatt video played.
The lights came back up, and the ring was empty.
Regal: "I cannot believe what we have just seen. The Undertaker was just in our ring, as if he was summoned by Bray Wyatt. I have chills running down my spine right now."
Hayes: "I'm freaked out, brother! I thought we'd never see The Undertaker in this sport again!"
Regal: "Nor did I. I am absolutely floored right now. That was a game changer by Bray Wyatt. His might just be an indestructible force at SuperBrawl. Fans, we are out of time. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour. And, don't forget to tune into www.nwashowtime.com for After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following our broadcast. I'm sure whatever she had scheduled to discuss will pale in comparison to the last few moments of the program. For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as usual.
Kelley ran down the entire episode, but, as expected, she went on and on about the revelation of The Undertaker as "The New Face of Fear's" fourth team member in the "World War 3 Elimination" match at NWA SuperBrawl: Sunday, Bloody Sunday. Kelley also interviewed the new Tag team Champions the Usos. They promised that the landscape of tag team wrestling in NWA: Show Time had just changed and that everyone was going to do hard time in the "Uso Penitentiary" now. Kelley then interviewed Cruiserweight Champion Kota Ibushi, who was joined by Japanese translator Junko Suzuki. Ibushi said that he relishes the thought of representing the Cruiserweight division and added that he wants to add Matt Riddle's World Junior Heavyweight Championship to his resume' as well. With that, Kelley signed off.
