Madusa Miceli: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the hottest hour on television, Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa Miceli. Alongside me are Renee Young and Melissa Santos! Girls, we're one week away from Starrcade!"
Renee Young: "I can't wait for the battle of the 'Horsewomen!'"
Melissa Santos: "The world has been talking about that match since it was signed!"
Miceli: "Yep! And, it's locked and loaded because Commissioner Aikawa has confirmed that Rhonda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke have been granted wrestling licenses in the state of California! We know that Charlotte Flair and company couldn't be happier about that, especially after the shot that was fired last week! It's going to be a war! Also, Commissioner Aikawa has promised another major announcement tonight that will affect Starrcade! We'll have to wait for that, though! Right now, we're heading to the ring to debut a brand new Bantamweight pairing, 'Team Cutie!'"
Match One ~ "Team Cutie" ("Popping Sugar Rabbit" Mizuki & Kelly Azusa) with Takako Inoue vs. "Canadian Cobra" Bianca Carelli & "Simply Ravishing" Merissa Rude
In a surprise move, "Team Cutie" was escorted to the ring by joshi legend and NWA: Femme Fatales trainer Takako Inoue:
Granted, Inoue did train both ladies in Japan before their debuts four years ago, but fans and announcers were pleasantly shocked at the sight of Inoue, who hasn't been seen on Femme Fatales since early in the company's history. "Team Cutie" is impressive, especially considering their size. Mizuki is the smallest competitor ever signed to NWA: Femme Fatales, weighing in at a slight 88 lbs. Azusa is no heavyweight, tipping the scales at 103 lbs. But, they use their quickness as an obvious advantage, in this case over their larger foes, both also trained by Inoue as graduates of the "Show Time Dojo." Ultimately, spped kille din this one. The finish saw Azusa hit a "Codebreaker" on Carelli that careened her straight into a "Cutie Special" from Mizuki for the pin.
Winners = "Team Cutie" by pinfall in 8:32
Miceli: "Impressive debut for the tiny, but lightning quick 'Team Cutie!'"
Young: "Yes! And, they live up to their name! It was great seeing Takako Inoue out there as well. What a legend!"
Santos: "She is timeless and her work as a trainer has paid off, as we saw great action from four of her trainees show their stuff to the world!"
Miceli: "Fans, we'll be back after this break with a match featuring Sexy Star against Demi Bennett! Stay with us!"
Miceli: "We're back! Fans, there's been some commotion in the back involving Sexy Star, who was attacked by an unknown assailant. Let's go there now!"
The scene switched to backstage, where Sexy Star was gathering herself after the apparent attack. Katya rushed in to tend to her. Taya followed shortly after. Sexy was unmasked, which no one has ever seen on camera. Katya and Taya tried to shoo away the cameraman, but Sexy stopped them. Even though she had no way to hide her face, she embraced the moment and looked directly into the camera.
Then, she uttered this ominous phrase: "¡Quien hizo esto pagará (Whoever did this will pay)!"
Miceli: "Wow! Sexy Star was jumped, it would seem, and whoever did it took her mask! That is huge disrespect in the lucha libre culture!"
Young: "Melissa, you've known Sexy for a long time. How will this affect her?"
Santos: "Unfortunately, the camera was right there, so she couldn't hide her face. But, inside she's devastated. I just know it."
Miceli: "The question is can she or will she compete against Demi Bennett, who just made her way to the ring for what she expects to be a match?"
Bennett waited for an explanation. Then, Sexy Star came to the ring with out a mask on, seemingly prepared for battle. Bennett looked confused, as did the referee, as neither expected to see a bare-faced Sexy Star in the ring.
Match Two ~ Sexy Star with Taya vs. Demi Bennett
Sexy was in a blind rage and Bennett became the object of her aggression. She immediately tore into Demi at the opening bell. This match didn't last long, as Sexy was uncontrollable. She had Demi backed into the corner and was landing lefts, rights, and kicks. Not only would she not break out of the corner, but she shoved the referee back twice in order to inflict more damage to Bennett, who defended herself as best she could. After the second shove by Sexy, the referee had no choice but to ring the bell.
Winner = Demi Bennett by disqualification in 4:19
Miceli: "Well, it's clear the Sexy Star is pissed! She just blew a big match with Demi Bennett! My guess is all she could see was her attacker ripping off her mask!"
Young: "She is enraged! Even Taya can't calm her down!"
Santos: "I've never seen her this mad! That's how important her mask was to her!"
Miceli: "Taya is trying to wrangle her in, but Sexy is almost insane right now!"
Sexy continued to pound on Bennett until Demi could roll out of the ring. Taya held Sexy back and finally got her away from ringside and to the back.
Miceli: "Fans, we'll take another quick break! When we return, we'll hear that big announcement from Commissioner Aikawa, and we'll see our blockbuster main event between best friends Kairi Hojo and Mayu Iwatani! Stick around! It's only getting better!"
Miceli: "We're back! Let's bring out Yuzuki Aikawa to hear this announcement, already!"
Commissioner Yuzuki Aikawa was introduced to a warm reception. She came to the ring with a microphone and what looked like a contract.
Yuzuki Aikawa: "As you know, our very own 'Four Horsewomen' have signed to fight 'The Four Horsewomen' of MMA at next Thursday's Starrcade. Not only that, but this match will main event at the Rose Bowl venue in Pasadena, California. This was a major coup for NWA: Femme Fatales, and I was satisfied with the match being our company's representation at the event. But, I received a phone call today from NWA Board of Governors Chairman and owner of NWA: Femme Fatales, Jordan Richards." (a chorus of boos followed at the mention of Jordan Richards' name) "Mr. Richards told me that the NWA has decided to grant NWA: Femme Fatales another match at Starrcade, since 'The Four Horsewomen' are not affiliated with any pro wrestling organization. with that being said, there is one match in particular I would love to sign for Starrcade. We've had a situation ongoing for many week involving our Women's Champion Io Shirai. Her title belt was stolen by NWA: HAWK superstar Priscilla Kelly, who has refused to return the title, despite my urgings, the warnings of NWA: HAWK management, and a legal notification from our attorneys. Honestly, I'm tired of waiting for a response from Priscilla Kelly, so I am going to take matters into my own hands."
Just then, the Wyatt interruption video played on the tron:
Then, a video feed of Priscilla Kelly appeared on the tron:
Priscilla Kelly: "Are you talking about little old me? I'm having too much fun with this trophy to give it back now. Io hasn't proven she is worthy of this title, but I am. Besides, it just looks so much better with me than it does with her. All I ever wanted to do was play with Io, but she is not cooperating. And, I fear that you, the big, bad, Commissioner, aren't going to cooperate either. No worries, I always find a way to get what I want."
Priscilla then stood and shoved the belt into the camera lens, as she held a black rose:
Priscilla Kelly: "If Io wants this, all she has to do is come and get it."
Aikawa: "That's exactly why I'm out here! Io does want to come and get her title back!"
The lights went out. When they came back up, Kelly was in the ring with Commissioner Aikawa.
Kelly: "Well, I don't see my playmate, Io. Where, oh where is she?"
Aikawa: "She's here. All of 'Joshi Mafia' is here and they want a resolution to this issue."
Kelly: "Issue? There is no issue. This is all a game."
Aikawa: "It's not a game to Io Shirai and it's certainly not a game to me! I have been in negotiations with NWA: HAWK. I have a contract here for a match between you and Io Shirai at Starrcade!"
Miceli: "Hello! That's major!"
Kelly: "So, you've been talking to the big bird, have you? Well, the big bird can't control me. That piece of paper can't control me."
Aikawa: "Actually, it can. This is a legally binding document. You own a piece of my property and I want it back. But, I have spoken with Io Shirai and she wants to beat you for it. So, this contract states that you will wrestle Io and the winner gets to keep the championship belt."
Kelly: "Ahh. Io wants to play for keeps. Now, I'm interested. So, I must sign this paper to finally have my game with Io?"
Aikawa: "Io has already signed the contract. So, if you sign it, it becomes official. I have a pen right here."
Kelly: "Oh, I don't need a pen. If you want a real contract, you sign in blood."
Priscilla then pricked her index finger with a thorn from the black rose. She watched as the blood dripped down her hand. Then, she signed the contract with a bloody "PK."
Aikawa: "It's now official. Io Shirai and Priscilla Kelly will fight at Starrcade with the Women's Championship on the line. Oh, and Priscilla, I forgot to tell you this part before you signed. If you defeat Io Shirai, not only will you become the Women's Champion, but your contract will be purchased from NWA: HAWK by NWA: Femme Fatales and you will become an official member of our roster."
Kelly: "Splendid. All the more reason to play the game. The big bird broke up my family. I have no allegiance to them, only to Bray and to myself. That allegiance shall be rewarded. So, it is. The games truly have begun. I am confident that I have haunted Io's dreams for many moons. In one week, I will haunt her reality. Io, you can't run. You can't hide. I'll be there when you close your eyes at night. I am your new nightmare. While everyone else is eating the dead fowl carcass next Thursday, I'll be feasting on your desires. See you soon, Io."
Kelly held the NWA: Femme Fatales Women's Championship belt up high and walked out through the crowd.
Miceli: "Wow! That girl has a screw loose!"
Young: "Maybe so, but she has learned very well from Bray Wyatt the art of the mind game."
Santos: "We've never seen Io Shirai as caught up in psychological warfare as she has been over the last month or more!"
Miceli: "Fans, let's take one more break. Then, we're back with our huge main event!"
Miceli: "Guys, we're back! It's main event time! Earlier in the week, Kairi Hojo and Mayu Iwatani were being interviewed and Mayu remarked about what an honor it would be to wrestle against the World Champion. Kairi agreed that a match against Mayu would be a true test of her ability. Commissioner Aikawa signed the match immediately and we have it for you next! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Three ~ NWA World Women's Champion Kairi Hojo vs. Mayu Iwatani ~ (non-title)
The match started slowly as they tied up, but quickly went into a strike exchange, with neither getting a clean blow. They jockeyed for position. Kairi got the first advantage, but after bouncing off the ropes, it is Mayu that knocked Hojo out of the ring. Mayu went up top, but Kairi crawled under the ring to creep up behind Iwatani. Kairi joined Mayu back in the ring, but Iwatani kicked her back down to the floor. Mayu then got off the top turnbuckle. She charged the corner and sailed out onto Hojo with a "Triple Jump Plancha." Mayu took Kairi up into the stands, but Hojo chopped her and the two traded strikes. Kairi won the battle. She climbed up on the balcony and dived down onto Iwatani with an "Elbow Smash." Kairi returned to the ring and waited for Mayu, who slowly made her way back with a bit of help. Hojo immediately pounced on her and stayed on the attack. After a "Dropkick" by Kairi, she went to the top and hit another "Elbow Smash." She covered Iwatani, but Mayu’s leg was in the ropes. Kairi pulled Iwatani in the middle of the ring and applied a "Crossface." She rolled Mayu around the ring before cradling her for a two-count. Mayu came back with the "Sling Blade." Iwatani yanked on Hojo’s arm before knocking her to the mat. Mayu focused on Kairi’s arm with various arm locks and holds. Iwatani went for her vaunted "Snap Dragon Suplex," but Kairi blocked it. Mayu reversed course with a "Super Kick," but Hojo quickly responded with a spinning chop and both wrestlers collapsed to the mat. They slowly made it to their feet and traded elbows. Mayu hit a "Crucifix Slam" that got a two-count. Iwatani scaled to the top rope, but Kairi nailed an open "Palm Strike." Mayu then tripped Kairi, who fell backward into the "Tree of Woe." Taking a page out of Hojo's playbook, Iwatani landed a "Diving Foot Stomp" to her chest. Mayu went back up top and hit another "Diving Foot Stomp." Amazingly, Mayu only scored a two. Mayu tried to "Dragon Suplex" Hojo into the turnbuckles, but Kairi blocked it and hits the "Sliding D " in return. Hojo picked up Mayu, then blocked Mayu’s lightning quick kick attempt and locked in the "Ikari." Kairi let go after a few moments and slammed Iwatani near the corner. Hojo hit a picture-perfect "Diving Elbow Drop" to Mayu’s back. Instead of going for the cover, Kairi went up to try another "Diving Elbow Drop," perhaps sensing that Mayu had more gas in the tank. The strategy failed, as Mayu got her feet up and kicked Kairi in her injured right arm. Iwatani hit a "German Suplex." She delivered a "Frog Splash" from the top rope. Finally, Mayu ended the sequence with a "Dragon Suplex," but Kairi barely got her foot on the rope. After getting to their feet, the two weary warriors traded elbows. Hojo bounded off the ropes, but Mayu hit a "Super Kick." Iwatani the landed another nasty kick to the head after that. She picked Kairi up and delivered her "Snap Dragon Suplex" for a 2.9-count. Mayu was shocked, as were the fans, at the fact that Hojo kicked out. Mayu sat beside Hojo's fallen body for about thirty seconds before responding. She then slowly stood up, almost looking with wonderment at what it would take to keep the World Champion's shoulders down. She bent over to pick Kairi up, but was scooped into a tight "Small Package." Mayu writhed and wriggled, but could not break free of Kairi's last-ditch effort to secure her.
Winner = Kairi Hojo by pinfall in 30:33
Miceli: "That was pure survival by Kairi Hojo! Mayu Iwatani had her dead to rights!"
Young: "What toughness from the champion, but what a fierce competitor Mayu is!"
Santos: "That was one for the ages! Both women looked fantastic there!"
Both women laid motionless for several moments, deeply breathing. The fans gave them a standing ovation, complete with a "That was awesome!" chant. As they finally made it to their feet, they embraced for several seconds, almost collapsing into each other's arms to a huge roar from the crowd.
Miceli: "That's how you do women's wrestling! I'll put that up against any match on the planet--men or women--and defy someone to top it! Wow! Should we expect anything less at Starrcade?! The 'Grandaddy of Them All' promises to impress! We are almost out of time. Please note that we will be pre-empted next Thursday due to Starrcade! But, you can tune into Femme Fatales next Friday on TNT for our next episode, where we will discuss the results of the biggest pay-per-view in NWA history! For Renee Young and Melissa Santos, I'm Madusa Miceli! Keep on rockin' and rollin'!"
As the episode went off the air, it followed Kairi Hojo to the locker room. As she entered, she was struck with a vicious "Clothesline" by former Femme Fatales star and current NWA: HAWK juggernaut, Makoto, who will challenge Hojo for the NWA World Women's Championship at Starrcade. She knelt bside Hojo and picked up the championship belt, declaring, "Saigo ni, koreha ienikaeru (Finally, this comes home)." Makoto then laid the championship belt across Hojo's chest and backed out of the locker room.
The scene faded to black.
