William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are hall of famers Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! Tonight's program will feature all title matches, as mandated by Commissioner Ric Flair!"
Hayes: "That's right, daddy! It's hotter than Badstreet in July around here and there's gonna be a lot of gold on the line!"
Cornette: "There will several title matches, but I'm pissed, because my associates are not involved in any of it!"
Regal: "Your associates? Are you talking about 'The Revival?'"
Cornette: "Yes, among others!"
Hayes: "Others?! What others?!"
Cornette: "I have just taken on another Show Time tag team."
Regal: "Which one?!"
Cornette: "All in good time, my friends. And, now is not a good time."
Regal: "So, I guess we'll be kept in suspense until my distinguished colleague decides to elaborate. Nevertheless, the Mid-Atlantic, Cruiserweight, and Heavyweight Championships will be on the line! Not so coincidentally, 'The Richards Collective' will have a participant in each match as well. It's hard to argue with, given the immense compliment of talent Jordan Richards has amassed in one group, but they dominate programming to the detriment of some other roster members."
Just then, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair came to ringside and began to question William Regal's comments.
Ric Flair: "How dare you question my matches! How dare you call anything I do into question! I am the Commissioner of this company and your boss! 'The Richards Collective' is featured in every match because they own all the titles! The reason The Rock is challenging for the Mid-Atlantic Championship is because he's a former champion and a top contender! If the rest of the roster would step up to the level of 'The Richards Collective,' they'd get the same opportunities! I award the best! Now, keep your mouth shut about me or any of my decisions, or else!"
Cornette: "Flair just put you in your place, Billy!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, let's go to the ring."
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship ~ "King of the Cruiserweights" Ricochet with "La Reine" Maryse Ouellet vs. Jonathan Gresham with Solomon Crowe
They started it out with a mix of mat wrestling involving quick rolling and flips to show off their prowess in the ring. Gresham took over with an offense that is akin to the constant pressure of a river eroding rocks. Gresham worked over Ricochet's left arm throughout. Ricochet’s ability to use unorthodox maneuvers allowed him to uncork amazing offense, even with a bad arm. Ricochet kept his arm pinned to his side throughout the match. With the weakened arm, Ricochet was vulnerable to all attacks from Gresham. Gresham was all over the arm the whole time using that point of weakness as a counter whenever Ricochet seems to be coming back. Ricochet began to fight like a wounded animal. There was a fast-paced closing sequence that showed Ricochet's fighting spirit. Gresham kept working over the arm and eventually locked in the "Octopus," riding the champion to the mat. He began to rain down with "Hammer Fists" to the back of Ricochet's neck and shoulder. Sensing defeat, Maryse jumped up onto the apron to distract the referee. Ricochet began to tap out after the referee turned his head. Crowe began screaming at the referee to turn around, eventually joining Maryse on the apron. They began to argue, as the referee tried to restore order. Gresham had released his hold and then went over to shout at the referee for missing the tap out. Ricochet recovered enough to hit an "Enziguiri" to the back of Gresham's head. He then rolled him up and grabbed a handful of tights to secure the desperate pinfall.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion = Ricochet by pinfall in 18:14
Regal: "Ricochet was dead to rights! Maryse saved that match! No question about it!"
Hayes: "Crowe and Gresham are fit to be tied!"
Cornette: "Jonathan Gresham had a great game plan, but he came up just a little short!"
Regal: "I guess the champion tapping out didn't happen, huh Jim?"
Cornette: "Not if the ref didn't see it!"
Regal: "We'll be back after this short break."
Regal: "Fans, we're back! 'SoCal' Val has an interview with The Rock, just before he challenges the imposing Mikael Judas for the Mid-Atlantic Championship."
Valerie Wyndham: "I am here with The Rock, who is set to challenge Mikael Judas for the Mid-Atlantic Championship in moments. Judas is nearly unstoppable on his own, but with 'The New Church' always lurking around, how do you combat their combined forces?"
The Rock: "Valerie, The Rock knows one very important thing. The Rock doesn't have to fight alone. You see, The Rock is part of a group too. The Rock doesn't worry about 'The New Church,' because 'The Richards Collective' outnumbers them. So, Mikael Judas, you bring all of your little band of worshipers. Bring the whole 'New Church' choir if you want to. Because, after The Rock takes his boot, shines it up, and sticks it straight up your candy a--, you're gonna need someone to sing a song at your funeral! You see Valerie, The Rock is a multiple-time World Champion. So, The Rock is used to having gold around his waist, and it's been a while since gold has been around this waist. So, tonight, that Mid-Atlantic Championship is coming home in front of the millions...and millions of The Rock's fans. If ya smelllllllllllll, what The Rock is cookin'!"
Wyndham: "William, back to you."
Regal: "It sounds like The Rock is more confident than ever. Let's go to the ring."
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship ~ "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas with "The Enchantress" Skyler Moon & The Sinister Minister vs. The Rock with Eve Torres
This was an old school fight through much of the bout. Both competitors are big and strong and showed their physical gifts in spades. Judas controlled much of the action, imposing his will on The Rock in typical Judas fashion. The Rock resorted to some underhanded tactics to keep himself in the match. Still, Judas had the advantage at the end. He went for a big punch that The Rock ducked. The referee was caught in the crossfire and went down like he got shot. Judas hit "El Crucifejo," but the referee was still dazed and could not count. Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar hit the ring and unloaded three successive "German Suplexes" on Judas. The Rock recovered and hit a "Rock Bottom," followed by "The People's Elbow" to gain the pin.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion = The Rock by pinfall in 10:33
Regal: "Well, 'The Richards Collective' has stolen another one, this time to win a championship!"
Hayes: "It's hard to argue with results. Now, every member of the group has a title."
Regal: "Yes, but by nefarious means!"
Cornette: "Once again, if the referee didn't see it, it didn't happen! The ref saw a 'Rock Bottom' and 'The People's Elbow.' Those are perfectly legal moves!"
Regal: "This is getting out of hand! Jordan Richards has everyone in his hip pocket and is creating a monopoly!"
Cornette: "The man owns the company! He can do what he wants! He hired me, so clearly, he's a genius!"
Regal: "I suppose so. But, I feel this monopoly hurts the product. Regardless, I'd better keep my opinion to myself for the time being. We'll take a short break and be back with the Heavyweight Championship match! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back and it's main event time!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ "The Beast" Brock Lesnar with Eve Torres vs. Davey Boy Smith, Jr. with Taylor Gallagher
The match never happened. As Smith was making his entrance, he was attacked by Braun Strowman and thrown through the ringside barricade. Gallagher jumped onto Strowman's back, only to be tossed aside like a sack of potatoes. Braun then got into the ring with Maria and yelled for Lesnar.
Maria: "We feel like Braun is a more deserving challenger for Brock Lesnar, if he has the guts to face him!"
Lesnar came out and indicated he wanted to compete against Strowman. Commissioner Flair came out and stopped the proceedings.
Flair: "Whoa, whoa, whoa, Braun! That's not how to go about getting title matches! Around here, you don't demand them! You earn them!"
Braun Strowman: "Lesnar, get in this ring and prove you have some balls!"
Brock Lesnar: "I ain't afraid of you! Ric, I want this punk right now!"
Flair: "Fine. It's official! Ring the bell!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ "The Beast" Brock Lesnar with Eve Torres vs. "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman with Maria Kanellis
The fans went ballistic when Lesnar hit the ring and went nose-to-nose with Strowman. These two are no strangers, but they are the two most destructive forces in the sport, so when they get into the ring against one another, the fans go crazy. Strowman dominated the action after sending Lesnar into the steel steps at ringside. Lesnar attempted "German Suplexes" on a couple of occasions, but Braun blocked each one. The fight eventually broke down and went back to the floor. Lesnar finally hit a "German Suplex" on Strowman. The referee was counting both men out of the ring from the apron. When he reached six, Lesnar got up and stumbled toward the ring. Strowman began to stir at seven. Lesnar got into the ring at eight. At nine, Strowman went to get into the ring, but his left leg was grabbed by Eve Torres, who had run over and was crouched down beside the ring apron. The referee was positioned in center ring at this time and did not see Torres. Kanellis ran to that side of the ring, but it was too late. Strowman did not make the count.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Brock Lesnar by countout in 23:09
Regal: "Not again! I actually hoped that Lesnar could retain on his own!"
Hayes: "That was a stiff match! Strowman really took it to Brock, right up until the end!"
Cornette: "But, Brock won. In the end, the man who gets his hand raised is the only thing that matters!"
Regal: "Something has to give! We cannot go on like this!"
Cornette: "As long as Jordan Richards says so, we will!"
Lesnar stood tall in the ring with Torres. Jordan Richards and Karlee Perez came to the ring to celebrate, along with the rest of "The Richards Collective," all displaying their championship trophies. The only reluctant ones in the ring were CM Punk and AJ Lee, still bound to the group. Richards made Punk and AJ hold the ropes for everyone to leave the ring.
Regal: "And, the abuse of CM Punk and AJ Lee is ridiculous as well! This all will reach a breaking point, I believe. Things will change eventually. They have to. Anyhow, fans we are out of time for this week. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
As the program was going off air, the scene shifted to backstage, where Braun Strowman was destroying everything in sight and screaming for a rematch with Lesnar.
